Now she's stuck in a world where folk stories are real, the British Empire never fell, the Highland Clearances turned into a centuries-long low-level war, the cold war was a three-way affair, there are capital-P Powers calling the shots, and she's about to find out that the rabbit hole into which she's been blown by a car-bomb goes one hell of a long way down indeed...
