A fisherman discovers Samer and his mother in a boat washed up on shore, barely clinging to life. But while Samer survives the transfer to Arcadia, his mother does not. Fifteen years later, he’s become Arcadia’s foremost Sage, a mage that excels at learning lore and soaking up knowledge. He’s also grown restless teaching at the Academy of Magic.
