Ling Yue was born from the wolf demon and the goddess who ruled over the land of the dead. Her father is the ruler of the netherworld otherwise known as demon world. The story starts out with the young girl learning a valuable lesson from her teacher and the truth of why her father whom she wanted approval from dislikes her. Her mother's death leads her to inherit the land of the dead. All she wanted when she was young was her father's approval but many crossroads has led her to only disappointment.
