Darick Ryan follows in his father's shoes of being a cop because it's a family tradition for him and his family. But he quickly finds out it isn't as easy as his father claims it to be. But his father is a well-decorated cop but Darick finds out his hometown (or home city in this case) isn't all friendly and rose-colored. But it's his job to Protect and Serve. But he does find out how dark humans can really be.
