They wouldn’t be wrong, as no sane person would ever quit his job the first chance he got when he saw an opening to follow his dream. To become rich and famous by playing video games. What? Did you think my dream wasn’t childish? The best dreams most often are. No? Well, maybe you just don’t dream big enough. Ever think about that?
Dreams are never easy to follow, and neither is mine. There are millions of players who want the same as I do, but very few would actually risk their future trying. Following the path of a Villain isn’t easy, and I have a city filled with thousands of players who would love to see me fail.

I had always found the idea of “Other Worlds” stupid. Magic wasn’t real. Even if it was the chance of someone spiriting away someone form a world without magic to a world with seemed utterly stupid. As I was about to log out of the NVR game I have been obsessing over for over 8 years, I blacked out. Next thing I know I am now living as my in game avatar in another world. Only I am now back to scratch, no more giant 200 floor dungeon, no more army of minions and traps, just me and a small room in the ground. Luckily, I have all I need to slowly rebuild my dungeon, I only hope I live long enough to do so. Who sent me here, what do they want from me, and can I ever return home? There better be answers to these questions because, while being my avatar is awesome, I also want to go home… I think.

A great alliance consisting of the Kingdom of Light, the Magocracy of Ken, the Forest Kingdom of the Elves, the Mountain Kingdom of the Dwarves, and the Wild Tribes of the West rose up and the high lich was defeated, his armies destroyed, and his cult scattered. Still recovering, the world is a constant state of petty power struggles and back biting between nations. Border disputes are common and the constant fighting has taken a toll on the populations of all the nations. Of course, none of this has much bearing on the everyday life of a an ordinary young orphan in the care of a Temple run home. One thing remains unchanged in the world of entertainment however, video games is still the main interest. For deccades, people have been playing VR-games through pods, which takes them into different worlds where they really feel alive. Untill now, it has only been a form of entertaiment. Yet for one man, it is his only hope for a future. Adrian was born with progeria, aging at a higher rate. Due to modern treatment, he has lived for nearly 20 years, but now only one week remain. With his missfortune, comes some luck. He has one offer, to get his conciousness transfered into a video game, permanently. And not just any video game, the revolutionary VRMMO game called Grand Age, one year ahead of the other players. In return for this, he is to write feedback reports on the game controlled by the godlike AI who has complete control. What nobody could forsee however, was the demise of the next hundred people qued for testing the game. The game launch is therfore posponed for a long time. This leaves Adrian in a world where the AI accedentally sets the time to 100 000 : 1 meaning Adrian is stranded in this world for age after age. When time finally returns to normal, and the game world resets, he is not the same as he once was. In the time before the reset, Adrian is known as the Eternal Blood-Sage the immortal expert who has experienced everything from the world began. Now after having experienced and learned everything beneath the heavens, he must face his greatest hurdle yet, other people entering the world.
