A bunch of Dragonlight Cavalrymen turned around and eyed the giant beasts in the distance with cautiousness.

The Iron Arm Apes started to cry out before leaping forward, their hind legs bursting with energy. They charged forward swiftly, like arrows loosed from a bow! None of us had expected that they would move at such astonishingly great speeds.

I was left shocked when an Iron Arm Ape dashed past me at lightning speed.

"God damn! They’re too quick!" Gui Guzi shouted.

In the next instant, the ten Iron Arm Apes had already reached the city walls. They stretched out their giant arms and swung them at the China players standing on the top of the wall!

"Block! Magic knights, activate Holy Shield!" Hot and Sour Noodles who was on the city walls yelled out.

Seven magic knights formed a shield formation but were all sent hurling through the air with a single attack of the Iron Arm Ape. Some were sent flying outside the city while others landed inside. Stranger of Three Lifetimes held her staff in one hand and casted her spells. Powerful icicles soon slammed down on the Iron Arm Ape’s head while she shouted, "You bastards! Come and kill me!"

She successfully managed to draw the attention of those Iron Arm Apes as they turned to follow her. They raised their arms high up only to bring them down violently onto Stranger of Three Lifetimes. She quickly activated her Magic Shield and successfully blocked their attacks. Stranger of Three Lifetimes’ Magic Attack was extremely high and thus, her Magic Shield’s durability was many times higher than a normal mage’s.

On the other side of the battlefield, Beiming Xue pulled her bowstring and released Shock Arrow. The arrow exploded among a group of Iron Arm Apes and successfully stunned them. "Bombard them with attacks! Slaughter these Iron Arm Apes first!"

A group of mages continued to cast their incantations and unleashed their spells on their enemies.

That Iron Arm Ape raised its arm and started to punch itself on its shoulder in an attempt to smash Beiming Xue.

Beiming Xue remained calm as she pulled her bow strings once again. She activated a skill that would increase her speed and soon, a green pair of wings started to circle around her ankles. In the next instant, Beiming Xue’s figure flashed and disappeared. She ran along the Iron Arm Ape’s limb at lighting speed, charging toward the ten-limb ape.

Beiming Xue looked like a beautiful sprite who grasped her hands tightly onto the Iron Arm Ape’s waist and quickly climbed her way up its arm. As she reached its shoulder, she swiftly pulled on her bowstring and unleashed Storm Arrow!

The tamer turned pale with shock and retreated rapidly, brandishing his whip as he did so. With a flick of his wrist, the whip made a cracking sound as flames shrouded it instantly. Swinging the whip at Beiming Xue, the two leather-armor players started their exciting duel then and there!

She raised her right arm and slung her bow behind her before taking out a dagger from her waist. The dagger gleamed with an icy chill as she forcefully pulled on the whip, using it as a rope to climb onto the Iron Arm Ape’s head.

"Damn it! What are you gonna do!?" The tamer started to panic. He did not imagine that this pretty little China lady would have such great melee skills!

Beiming Xue’s lips curved into a sweet smile as she said, "Anyone who dares stir up trouble for big bro must die!"

Her blade swept past her opponent’s throat and a string of damage numbers started to float above his head. The tamer started to grow dizzy as Beiming Xue kept on zigzagging around him. He simply could not catch her movements as she was too quick for him. Her dagger gleamed with an icy chill as she brought it down violently, freezing her enemy with her ice dagger!

The tamer let out a pitiful wail as the rest of his HP was deleted by Beiming Xue. He collapsed on top of the Iron Arm Ape’s head and dropped a piece of bread as well as a whip with an orange glow. That leather whip was without a doubt an extremely powerful weapon for tamers.

Beiming Xue picked the whip up and threw it into her inventory. The moment the tamer was killed, the ten-limb Iron Arm Ape also collapsed with a cry. After all, a pet was unable to continue fighting without its owner.

The giant Iron Arm Ape collapsed with a loud bang. Beiming Xue who was standing on the head of the Iron Arm Ape let out a surprised cry as she started to fall from a height of more than ten meters.

I cursed under my breath as my mind suddenly turned blank. "Goddammit! I’ve been stunned by the enemies!" Taking advantage of that tamer’s Iron Arm Ape’s attack, a large group of Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalrymen started to charge at us once again. Those riders were highly leveled and had powerful equipment. They could easily use Charge on me while I was stunned!

We activated our Famous General Skills and charged back and forth, eliminating every Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalryman in our way. Volleys of spells and arrows continued to rain down on the enemy while healing spells of our priests enveloped us. The Dragonlight Cavalry grinned with bloodlust as they continued to massacre their enemies bravely.

The intense battle lasted for an hour until the battlefield was finally ridded of every single Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalryman. We even managed to kill three Heroic Bannermen during that battle! News about the Nation Wars had clearly stated that half of the ninety Heroic Bannermen who entered Dawn City had been killed in battle. Even if the Northern Alliance won in the end, it would not be a glorious victory. Moreover, we had not given up yet! They would have to give up their lives before they can take Dawn City!

However, the damage they had dealt was minimal at best! Goddammit! These siege towers are truly tanky! We definitely can’t rely on the archers to take down!

Twenty siege towers were only a hundred yards from our city walls! We were in grave danger now!
