The final boss was far, far stronger than anyone could have imagined. Not only did it have the Yin Yang Eyes, a skill with two drastically different offensive effects depending on which eye it decided to open, it possessed all the strengths of the previous eight bosses before it. To say that it was fearsome was a massive understatement. It was like the seven gourd babies of "Gourd Little King Kong" combining all their powers together to destroy their enemies, which was exactly what the Yin Yang Tiger was doing right now.

I led my generals—He Yi, Gui Guzi, Beiming Xue, High Fighting Spirits and Chaos Moon—and my allies—Lin Yixin, Purple Marquis, Stranger of Three Lifetimes and Ling Xueshang—behind the boss while protected by the Dragonlight Cavalry. I laughed. "Pot calling the kettle black much? Who was the fucker who tried to overwhelm us with sheer numbers during the War of Dawn City? Kill him!"

He Yi, Lin Yixin and I ran toward Vienna’s Sorrow at once in a triangular formation with me as the point. Lin Yixin and I both activated Great Earth Transformation. Vienna’s Sorrow was a peak expert, and even we could fumble if we decided to go easy on him.

"Eve, charge him!"

My beautiful guild leader obeyed my order without hesitation and Charged while the two of us quickened our footsteps. The reason I asked her to do this was to keep Vienna’s Sorrow busy and minimize his window to act as much as possible. Every second he wasted to dodge He Yi’s Charge was a second Lin Yixin and I could capitalize on.

Just as I predicted, Vienna’s Sorrow moved to the back to avoid being hit by He Yi. During this time, Lin Yixin summoned a giant flaming sword of ice and brought it right down on his head, staggering him. At the same time, I raised my palm and fired an Ancient Seal at his exact location!

The King in the North turned green in that moment. He knew full well how skillful the Fruit Knife Goddess was. If he failed to nullify the attack he would die, it was as simple as that!

Left with no choice, Vienna’s Sorrow gritted his teeth and activated his invincibility skill!

"Retreat!"

I ordered without hesitation. He Yi and Lin Yixin backed away immediately so that he couldn’t force himself onto us and perhaps score a lucky kill while he was invincible.

I remained to stop Vienna from catching up to the girls, but despite a series of successful parries, my arm still shook from the impact, and every hit dealt at least 20k damage to me. Ice Stream Blade was simply too powerful. If my max HP wasn’t as high as it was, I would’ve been killed already.

Vienna’s Sorrow tried to move past me and chase after Lin Yixin and He Yi, but I saw his movements perfectly and followed him like a shadow, blocking in front of him no matter how he moved. Besides that, I kept blocking and parrying repeatedly so as to minimize the damage I took as much as possible. Vienna’s Sorrow couldn’t kill me in a short time, but I could most certainly hold out until his invincibility skill ran its course. It was the Achilles' heel he couldn’t make up for no matter what.

It was at this moment Lin Yixin dashed over from the sides and hit Vienna’s Sorrow with a perfect Extreme Break + Ice Flame Slash combo. Her sword pierced right through the man’s chest!

In the end, the ruthless King in the North ultimately collapsed in the chaos of battle. His life was ended cleanly and quickly by the amazing Fruit Knife Goddess.

Li Chengfeng responded with a tug of the lips of his own. "My taste ain’t that hardcore. C’mon, let’s move on to Candlelight Shadow already…"

His brain processing speed and skill were top-notch, and there were only a handful of players present who could rival him in these departments.

It was at this moment Gods of Destruction slowly shifted their way toward the boss. Dominating Heaven Blade was carrying his weapon and growling, "Candle Dragon’s busy fighting the boss, so this is our chance! Kill them!"

Dominating Warrior God, Dominating Knight God and the rest of his generals attacked the Viper Dragoons from the back without hesitation. Gods of Destruction and Candle Dragon had never had the best of relationships, and everyone wanted a piece of the pie. Of course they weren’t going to play coy.

Candlelight Shadow shot them a glance and sneered audibly. First, he launched a sword aura at Dominating Knight God and Dominating Warrior God, knocking them backward. Then, he raised his palm and hit them with a devastating Outer Flame that killed them on the spot. The poor bastards, despite having survived nine floors of Nine Tigers Soul Suppressing Tower, they ultimately weren’t strong enough to endure the Divine General Skill of Candlelight Shadow!

"Fuck!"

Dominating Heaven Blade’s eyes bulged as he felt the looming threat and shouted, "Archers!"

Tens of thousands of arrows took to the sky, forcing Candlelight Shadow to parry those that flew his way. He barked, "One hundred Viper Dragoons, take out these idiots now!"

Blue Sky Scar immediately turned around and clashed against Dominating Heaven Blade, Dominating Mage God and Dominating Archer God. Gods of Destruction might not be strong enough to wipe out Candle Dragon, but they certainly helped divert a lot of troops and attention.

Warsky Alliance was even fiercer than Gods of Destruction was. The moment the last Northern Alliance player was killed, Warsky immediately turned around and ran toward God’s Dance, stunning all the players around her with Ghost Banner. If God’s Dance hadn’t used Blink to run to safety in time, she would’ve been stunned already.

"Kill them!"

Lin Bing Dou Zhe and Laughing At The Heavens rushed the stunned players, and the backliners unleashed their magic and arrows. You couldn’t drink a potion or Guard while you were stunned, so it only took a moment for the Candle Dragon players to be wiped out without resistance.
