Pouncing at her like a beast, he drained almost all of his energy and unleashed Eviscerate + Blade Vortex that shredded the mage’s Magic Shield like nothing. Farewell Song calmly executed a helix maneuver and dodged the first hit of Candlelight Shadow’s skill. Then, he waved his dagger in two different directions and parried the second and third hits, somehow nullifying the triple-hit skill perfectly.

The players of Candle Dragon were stunned by what they saw. The duel between Candlelight Shadow and Farewell Song was basically the duel between a pinnacle warrior and a pinnacle assassin. Despite having the first move, Candlelight Shadow had failed to gain any advantage from it.

Farewell Song dared not treat Candlelight Shadow lightly though. Fire grew from his dagger tip after the sword strike sent him skidding across the floor.

The dagger left a bloody mark across Candlelight Shadow’s chest armor, but Candlelight Shadow had already dismounted from his horse. Pushing the flat side of his blade at the dagger and knocking it away, he spun in midair and struck a painful blow at the back of Farewell Song’s head.

Farewell Song backed away rapidly. While he could parry over 70% of Candlelight Shadow’s sword attacks, he couldn’t claim the same for the warrior’s close-quarter combat skills. When a melee attacker engaged a ranged attacker in combat, the key to victory lay in movement and timing. In the end, the no cooldown, almost infinitely spammable skill was too much for Farewell Song to handle. While he was busy dodging the Outer Flames, Candlelight Shadow rode right past him and slashed him in the back. Blood spurted everywhere, and the number one assassin of Warsky Alliance slowly dropped to his knees.

He even dropped what looked like an Earth-grade dagger. It was his secondary weapon.

Candlelight Shadow picked up the dagger and tossed it into his bag. He then declared in an indifferent tone, "You have a bone to pick with me. I welcome it. Warsky Alliance may be the second strongest guild on the Guild Ranking, but Candle Dragon isn’t afraid of you. Brothers and sisters, heed my command! Stop the enemy’s advance and defend your kingly honor!"

Farewell Song was a very famous person in the China server, so Candlelight Shadow’s decision to smite him with his Divine General Skill was definitely the right call. It greatly improved Candle Dragon’s morale and dealt a severe blow to Warsky Alliance’s!

When the two cavalry meet, I could feel the impact of metal slamming into metal even from where I was. Painful groans and the sounds blades hacking against armor filled the air as both sides tried to destroy one another. Candlelight Shadow had deployed nearly a thousand Viper Dragoons to hold back the Frostscale Cavalry, but they were not enough to tip the scales against Warsky’s Divine General Skill. In fact, Blue Sky Scar and Tempest Shadow could be fighting with their Viper Dragoons, and they still wouldn’t be able to beat Warsky Alliance.

"Fuck!" Blue Sky Scar shouted angrily. "That Divine General Skill is too strong! Tempest Shadow, follow me! Let’s take out that Warsky before he does too much damage!"

"Got it!"

The two CGL Hall of Famers charged toward Warsky from the wings, intending to catch him in a pincer attack. However, Warsky let out a fearless laugh and said, "Lin Bing, Hundred Battler, work with me! Let’s take down the so-called Blue Sky War God and Tempest War God and crush Candle Dragon’s myth of invincibility with our own hands!"

When Blue Sky Scar got close to Warsky, he crossed his sword in front of himself and fired a sword aura at the two Frostscale Cavalry blocking his way. It was a stunning skill, so the two frontmost riders were frozen in place.

However, Warsky stepped away from his own bodyguards and caught Blue Sky Scar’s sword with his own. Blue Sky Scar was quite the skillful player, so he immediately changed the angle of his sword into a thrust and hit the guild leader’s chest with a Barrier Break. At the same time, he raised his left arm—there were wind blades surrounding his fist—and shouted, "Tempest Punch!"

The punch left an imprint on Warsky’s head and dealt 48167 damage. For a bare-handed skill, it was a mighty impressive one.

However, Warsky’s response was to sneer at his attacker and wave his bloody banner, stunning him. Blue Sky Scar must have known what he was getting into. He wasn’t alone though. The moment Tempest Shadow saw that his partner was stunned, he immediately slid into the space in front of him and hit Warsky with Barrier Break + Flame Thrust. Warsky’s HP immediately hit rock bottom.

Warsky was knocked backward, but he laughed and said, "Prepare to die, Tempest Shadow!"

Hundred Battler, Lin Bing Dou Zhe and Laughing At The Heaven rushed out from behind. Before Tempest Shadow could react, he took a Shock Arrow to the knee—courtesy of October Rain of course—and got stunned as well.

Lin Bing Dou Zhe grimly landed Barrier Break + Quadruple Slash on Blue Sky Scar’s weak point. Laughing At The Heavens and a group of Warsky Alliance archers were also doing the same with Barrier Break and Spiraling Arrow Blades. The warrior had left his troops to attack Warsky, so he was way out of range of his healers. One more strike from Lin Bing Dou Zhe later, he dropped to his knees and died.

Hundred Battler and October Rain tried to kill Tempest Shadow, but the magic knight had too much HP and survived everything that was thrown at him. After forcing his attackers to retreat with a sweep of his spear, he immediately turned around and made his escape.

"Chase him! Tempest Shadow must not leave alive!" Warsky ordered while his sexy priests cared for him.

It didn’t look like they would be on time though. Just a bit more, Tempest Shadow would reach the Viper Dragoons.

It was at this moment a rider clad in black metal armor emerged from the flank while surrounded by the image of divine arms. It was none other than Hegemon Palace’s hired thug, Little Piglet!

"What the fuck?" Tempest Shadow exclaimed in shock.

Little Piglet hit Tempest Shadow with a lightning-quick Ice Breaking Slash and Ice Ray Flurry. Countless icicles riddled the magic knight’s chest with holes, and having escaped with less than 30% HP,, there was nothing Tempest Shadow could do to survive this combo. He let out a groan, fell off his horse and died as well.

Pop...

A red ring dropped where Tempest Shadow died. It was surrounded by a hint of red, violent energy, and it was clearly a great item; Earth-grade at the very least.

Little Piglet picked up the ring and turned his mount around immediately. Before he left, he shouted, "All who stand in my way shall become my possession!"

Hundred Battler blurted out in disbelief, "Did that fucker really show up just to steal Tempest Shadow’s equipment?"

Warsky was all smiles, however. "Hehe, Little Piglet is quite the interesting guy, it seems. Anyway, let us continue. Attack Candle Dragon and take the Yin Yang Tiger! It is the strongest boss of Nine Tigers Soul Suppressing Tower!"

The players of Warsky Alliance roared. It was as if victory was in their grasp already.

On the other side, the united army of Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls, Snowy Cathaya, The Monarch Descends and Blazing Hot Lips were assaulting Candle Dragon’s troops again and again. Now that the Northern Alliance was all dead, it was finally time for some good ol’ civil war.

Unfortunately, the Viper Dragoons were clogging the path and protecting their priests, archers and mages with all their might. Even if victory was certain, it didn’t seem likely that we would be able to break through them in a short time.

I couldn’t afford to waste my Ancient Seals because I had less than 10 Divine Energy Points left. Li Chengfeng had already spent all of his divine energy on Battle Soul Possession. As for Lin Yixin’s God’s Tear, well, that wasn’t even a consideration in the first place. This meant that we had no choice but to break through the old-fashioned way. The good news was that Candle Dragon was making very slow progress, and time was on our side!

It was at this moment the Yin Yang Tiger let out another angry roar and opened its bloody jaws. It was pleasing to watch its flame breath decimating nearly 20 Viper Dragoons in one go!
