"How much HP does the boss have left?"

Candlelight Shadow was standing at the front and dueling Purple Marquis and Li Chengfeng at the same time. After a couple of exchanges, he had no choice but to withdraw and avoid a head-on clash. Candle Dragon’s numbers had shrunk drastically because they had chosen to step out of the line earlier and surround the Yin Yang Tiger when Northern Alliance was still fighting it. Despite being the strongest guild in China, it was incredibly difficult for them to fend off all the remaining guilds by themselves!

These days, very few guilds were truly loyal to another stronger guild. For example, Hall of Immortality, Rose of the Holy Domain, Silver Soul, Wings of Awakening and more might follow Candle Dragon now, but they all wanted to be the king one day. Candlelight Shadow was panicking a little at this point. Not even a godlike player could maintain a perfectly cool head at this stage. While someone might be tempted to stop moving and wait for the skill to pass, that was really the worst thing to do in this situation. Unlike the rest of us, the boss wasn’t affected by its own skill and it fully intended to exploit our temporary weakness. Plus, practically no one who stood on this battlefield was a weakling or a coward. Regardless of our differences, right now we all shared one clear goal: we came for the boss, and anyone who stood in our way must die!

"Kill while the darkness is still active!" He Yi’s simple but clear-cut order entered my ears.

Thud thud thud thud thud! I heard five meaty impacts in a row, and I knew that it had to be her Purgatory of Ice and Magma. The skill caused havoc both to the boss and the enemies. We weren’t worried that we would hit our own allies with our skills because we had all set our attack mode to “no friendly fire”.

Behind him, a troop of Dragonlight Cavalry was charging forward and killing anything and everything they ran into. They were past caring at this point.

However, a blazing flame suddenly engulfed them, and the Dragonlight Cavalrymen with half health or less instantly dropped to the ground and died. Fuck, it was Candlelight Shadow using his Divine General Skill while protected by the shroud of darkness!

"Lu Chen!" He Yi immediately looked at me.

I couldn’t see her face, but I understood her meaning right away. I rushed forward and launched 9 golden seals into the sky in a row. The next moment, they came back down a lot larger and struck nearly the entire boss area like a thunderstorm. For a time screams filled the air, and I gained 3 Divine Energy Points from that. This meant that I had killed at least 300 enemy players with that attack. Awesome!

Xu Yang, Gui Guzi and Chaos Moon fought side by side, throwing out Mountain Stagger Slashes, Aurora Thrusts and Rock Crushes every few steps or so. With the three of them carving open a path for Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls, I doubted there were many people left who could threaten our battle line.

The flash of skills was the only source of illumination under the curtain of darkness. It was practically a night battle at this point.

The darkness finally dissipated a long while later. When light was restored to the ninth floor of Nine Tigers Soul Suppressing Tower and we looked at the boss, we were stunned to see that it only had 2% HP left. Motherfucker, we were so busy tossing our AoE skills and murdering as many of our enemies as possible that we didn’t even realize the Yin Yang Tiger could die at any moment!

Xu Yang and Gui Guzi immediately shouted with a laugh, "The boss is about to die! Go go go!"

Almost a hundred Dragonlight Cavalrymen rushed toward the boss at once. However, the Yin Yang Tiger suddenly let out a furious roar and opened its Yang Eye!

A golden beam passed right through Gui Guzi, Xu Yang and several unfortunate Dragonlight Cavalrymen’s chest. A shocking damage number floated above Gui Guzi’s head—289736!

The good news was that Gui Guzi was protected by the Undying Shield. A green number followed next as a huge chunk of that damage was converted into health—

Our troubles weren’t over, however. A battle cry broke out from the left side of the battlefield, and it was Warsky roaring and charging with a group of Warsky Alliance players. The ground was littered with the bodies of Candle Dragon’s players, so they were the only guild left that could possibly pose a threat to us. Most of Candle Dragon’s allies like Hall of Immortality were currently stuck at the perimeter, so they wouldn’t be a threat for now.

Whoosh whoosh!

The bloody banner above Warsky’s head swayed once, and the Dragonlight Cavalrymen including Chaos Moon were stunned immediately.

"Kill them!" Lin Bing Dou Zhe laughed loudly as he charged with the Frostscale Cavalry.

Murong Mingyue waved her scepter repeatedly and threw all her healing spells at Chaos Moon. At the same time, she shouted, "Protect our people!"

To everyone’s surprise, it turned out to be its weak point. By the end of the skill, the Yin Yang Tiger let out its death throes and finally collapsed to the ground!

I leveled up once. The amount of experience I got was insane even if I wasn’t the one who scored the last hit.
