I was about to say something when I noticed that the body parts tossed into our formation started glowing red. In fact, it was shining brighter and brighter. Finally realizing that something was amiss, I shouted, "Watch out! Something’s wrong with these body parts!"

Everyone looked to the ground in shock. By now, all the rotten body parts had swollen up like balloons!

The one silver lining we had was that the body parts took at least 2 to 3 seconds to detonate, so we at least had a small window to escape to safety. As for me, I straight up batted the body parts flying my way into the horde of Rot Eaters, killing two birds with one stone.

Unfortunately, the body parts kept coming, and the explosions kept killing more and more of our guild members.

I activated Great Earth Transformation and surrounded myself with three guardian swords. At the same time, I fired off a Silver Dragon Storm that engulfed a horde of Rot Eaters. That wasn’t all Sophie did either. Pointing her palm at the riders of the Griffin Legion, she fired a series of Wind Blades and Ice Blades that tore into dozens of brave warriors at once. Sophie was a Purgatory Sovereign, and there was absolutely nothing they could do to withstand her attack.

More than half of the Griffin Legion was killed in an instant. Ziyan’s eyes burned with rage, but there was nothing she could do to help her soldiers—or was there? She abruptly snatched a longbow from the archer next to her, injected a kind of flaming energy into the bow, and fired a flame arrow straight at Sophie!
