It wasn’t a steady decline either, but sudden and seemingly random bursts that made my heart rate go up and down like a roller coaster. Without a priest’s Restore or heals, it simply wasn’t possible to fight this many people for too long.

I fired another 3 golden seals while retreating. I had spent over 50 Divine Energy Points to unleash the Ancient Seals and maintain Great Earth Transformation alone. It was wasteful, but it was also the only way. I wouldn’t have survived if my resistances weren’t buffed by Great Earth Transformation.

I charged left and right, killing many with each swipe of my sword. The Phantom Wolf King followed me like a shadow and left many Purgatory Storms in its wake.

"Stop him! Stop him!"

Unfortunately, all of the magic knights were Guarding, so they actually survived my double-skill combo with 5 to 25% HP left. Moreover, the priests at the back were healing them with AoE heals. They could be out of one-shot range any moment now.

So I raised my left palm and blasted the ground in front of me with two golden seals. To my pleasant surprise, the Purple Ying Sword property triggered and caused the Ancient Seal to deal 5 times more damage than normal. The result was positively obscene—

The Purple Grape City magic knights caught up to me again. They were faster than me after the slows.

Sun-shooting Bow laughed sinisterly as he raised his bow. "Get him, brothers and sisters! End his life! And don’t forget to turn on live recording! We’ll show the China players exactly how we destroy their best player!"

A furious Sun-shooting Bow raised his fist and declared, "Don’t be afraid, braves of Tail Feather Palace! Gather your courage, turn your fear into anger, and kill him for the glory of Purple Grape City, and the oath we all swore!"

Encouraged by Sun-shooting Bow’s speech, the Tail Feather Palace players summoned their rage and charged me in unison. At least hundreds of magic knights raised their weapons while shouting, "Kill!"

Suddenly, a chorus of horse hooves entered my ears. It was too organized to be the enemy’s.

A troop of mighty-looking riders burst through the flora, and they all wore the emblem of the King of Cities and Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls on their arms. Eyes gleaming with burning intent, Gui Guzi raised the Spear of the Knight God and roared, "Follow Boss Broken Halberd and kill them all!"

The Dragonlight Cavalry had finally arrived. There were at least a thousand of them.

I shouted, "Well met, brothers and sisters! Now turn on Nation War attack mode and kill them all! Carve up these bullies like the animals they are!"

I rode as the spearhead, charging into the enemy and cutting all the enemies who were directly in front of me. Thanks to the absolute Strength advantage I held over them, there was no magic knight who could endure a single ram from me. I also made sure to cut the riders in the neck, and most of the time the weak point strike was enough to kill them.

Behind me, Gui Guzi activated Knight God, while Heaven’s Rain and Diamond Dust activated Knight General. The elite cavalry easily trampled over Tail Feather Palace’s formation and shattered their dreams completely. They knew that they had lost the moment the Dragonlight Cavalry had shown up, but the way the latter was shrugging off Galaxy Storms and Spiraling Arrow Blades was just demoralizing. The stats difference was just too huge.

Heaven’s Rain swung her sword left and right and left many bodies in her wake. Every Dragonlight Cavalryman was protected by a draconic shadow, the buff called Dragon Soul Protection. It was why they were both so tanky and powerful.

The guild leader of Tail Feather Palace, Sun-shooting Bow, stared at this scene with a pale, deflated expression. His arms were even shivering a little as he said, "What… what the hell is this cavalry?"

Beside him, a melee corps commander said, "Boss, we’re going to lose if we remain here. Let’s withdraw into the forest and meet up with Red Maple’s God’s Domain. We should be able to defeat all these riders if we have Red Maple’s cavalry’s support!"
