I backpedalled as metallic sparks flew off from my blade twice. A group of Beast King Cavalry was bearing down on me, and Breeze and Rain himself was galloping toward me with Blazing Slash at the ready. Eyes burning with anger, he shouted, "If you can not be used by us, then we will destroy you with our own hands, Broken Halberd Sinks Into Sand!"

I received his attack and allowed myself to be sent skidding across the ground. Then, after turning around to smack a Divine Elephant Cavalryman out of the way with my Dragon God Shield, I flung my sword at Breeze and Rain and cast Ancient Seal at the same time!

Bang bang!

The two skills deleted over half of Breeze and Rain’s HP and forced him to order a heal. At the same time, he shouted, "All units, attack! The Chinese have trespassed into Thunder Mountain Range! We must defend our honor no matter what!"

Hundreds of thousands of Indian riders immediately answered his call and charged the Chinese players. The bad news was that the Chinese riders were clearly outnumbered by the Indians, numbering in tens of thousands only. The good news was that most of them were high-level players who wielded incredible prowess such as Gui Guzi, Warsky and Candlelight Shadow.

Breeze and Rain once beat Candlelight Shadow at the WEL, and Candlelight Shadow was the kind of guy to hold a grudge forever. Naturally, he would want to slay his killer and satisfy his bloodthirst.

Warsky himself had turned on his Famous General Skill, Hegemon, and led his elite cavalry against the Indian riders. Although this battle wouldn’t trigger a Nation War, it was just as bloody as one. In a game like this, it was an unwritten rule that you make friends with distant countries and fight your neighbors to the death. Since the India server and China server bordered each other, a war was always going to break out between us.

Breeze and Rain had intentionally ordered the Beast King Cavalry to put most of their focus on me, giving me no time to recover whatsoever. Not only that, the archers and mages at the back had caught up to their cavalry and lay down suppressive fire on me as well. It was to the point where I was really starting to feel a sense of helplessness, not to mention the endless hail of Mountain Stagger Arrows that didn’t even give me a second to summon the Ancient Divine Dragon. I was impressed, to be honest. The enemy archers were using the lackluster Far Shot Mode to fire their Mountain Stagger Arrows, but their shots were still uncannily accurate.

I kept my Dragon God Shield raised up and blocked the incoming arrows as best I could.

Carnage ensued wherever I traveled. Now that a bunch of Chinese players were playing distraction for me, I was facing considerably less pressure than before. Other than the fact that I still wasn’t able to find an opportunity to mount my Ancient Divine Dragon, I was no longer in serious danger. Unfortunately, Gui Guzi’s charge went a little awry, and he was actually straying further away from me instead of toward me.

The enemy couldn’t pin me down forever though, and finally I found a chance to awaken my slumbering dragon. As it left my arm and assumed a much larger form, I climbed onto its back and instantly experienced a massive boost to all my stats. Now that my Attack, Defense and movement speed were much greater than it was before, it was time to truly fight back. I turned around and fired a sword aura!

Crack!

The basic attack struck a line of players and dealt over 150k damage to each player, killing them all. It was crazy.

"Shit! He’s mounted his Ancient Divine Dragon!" Breeze and Rain roared. "All cavalry, avoid Broken Halberd Sinks Into Sand and let our ranged players hit him with Mountain Stagger Arrows and Ice Dragon Howls! Doesn’t matter what rank his mount is, nothing can stand against the human sea attack! Drag him off his high dragon now!"

Of course, I wasn’t going to just stand around and let them hit me. I made the little dragon soar into the sky until it was around seven to eight meters above ground level. Then, I executed Burning Blade Slash + Thousand Ice Slash combo and killed a group of Beast King Cavalry instantly. This was a one-sided slaughter at this point.

Or was it? Freezing Arrows pitter-pattered against my Dragon God Shield and the Ancient Divine Dragon’s scales and bounced away, dealing a pitiful amount of damage. However, each Touch of the Dragonkiss still dealt around three-digit damage, a not insignificant number when you considered that I was the focus of almost all of the enemy’s firepower. In just 10 seconds, I had lost over 3% mount tenacity. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to fight so many people alone even with the Ancient Divine Dragon.

An ear-piercing noise suddenly entered my ears, and I saw the image of a Xiezhi Beast killing a group of Beast King Cavalry just a short distance away from me. It was High Fighting Spirits of course. He had come to my rescue with the main guild’s Dragonlight Cavalry, and even Chaos Moon and Li Chengfeng were here. Speaking of which, Li Chengfeng was already Level 140. As a result, the guy’s reputation was literally second to mine only. It was no wonder that the Beast King Cavalry would be too intimidated to attack him.

A Level 132 Heaven’s Rain was fighting behind Li Chengfeng when she shot me a worried look. She asked me, "They… they were chasing after you, weren’t they?"

Not far away, Chaos Moon fought the enemies without saying a word.

I moved the Ancient Divine Dragon to the ground. Frankly, I didn’t think that I could look any worse than I was now. Still, the India server was doing even worse than I was, so I replied with a smile on my face, "Eh, it’s okay. Things got a tad dangerous there though."

Li Chengfeng smiled before moving away all of a sudden. "I know I’m not the person you wish to meet the most…"

He Yi, dressed in white and looking as gorgeous as ever, slowly walked up to me. Staring at me with red eyes that looked like they would burst into tears at any moment, she murmured, "How are you doing, Lu Chen?"

I pursed my lips and said, "I’m fine. I just… miss all of you…"

He Yi nodded slowly. "Mn. We all do… I miss you so much…"

It was at this moment a blind fuck with no eyes for atmosphere whatsoever barged in and shouted, "Lu Chen, you dare join the India server and become their lackey? Come, I will duel you to the death!" He was none other than Warsky.

I scored a loud blow against the side of the Ancient Divine Dragon. In response, I dismounted and scored a bloody hit across his shoulder.

While he was distracted, I kicked him in the chest hard and sent him rolling across the ground. "Warsky, you’re a real idiot, you know that?"

While Warsky was busy climbing back to his feet, Farewell Song, Song of Cloud and Water, Song of Ice and Fire, Ringwraith, God Bone and more experts showed up. Song of Ice and Fire rushed me while swinging his axe, "Eat this, traitor!"

I had to hide a flash of surprise as I glanced at the warrior. Not only was his Attack much higher than Warsky’s, his movement was a lot better than before. Every step he took was a step he could’ve converted into a relentless assault. I’d better keep my eyes open!

I clashed blades with Song of Ice and Fire for a second before rotating on my feet. I managed to score a hit on his body while Song of Ice and Fire punched me in the chest!

I grinned at him before pulling out the City Map of Daybreak City and flinging it against the ground. "See this? This is why! You’re the ones who failed to protect your goddamned map, and you have the gall to attack me?"

I glanced at Li Chengfeng. "Chengfeng, you take this and return it to our server. I don’t trust anyone else to keep it safe!"

"Got it!"

Li Chengfeng obeyed the order before putting the map in his bag.

For a while, an astonished Warsky couldn’t say anything. Then, he abruptly wrapped his arms around me before slapping my back again and again, "Oh, brother! This is why you went to the India server? Haha! Sorry man!"

I punched him off me. "Dude, piss off!"
