《Dragon Prince Yuan》Chapter 864 Spirit Lantern Art

Boom!
Berserk Spirit power whizzed above the Fire Pavilion’s army, and sharp sound waves reverberated throughout the entire world. The sound waves were so ear-piercing that they could tear ordinary Spirits apart in an instant.
The tens of thousands of Spirits of the Fire Pavilion, coupled with the Spirit power activated by the Spirit Burning Rune, had clearly reached a terrifying level.
As Zhu Lian looked at the terrifying Spirit power, his eyes flickered with fear. Even he was a little afraid of controlling Spirit power of such a level because the slightest carelessness could lead to an adverse response.
But fortunately he was situated inside the Heavenly Flame Cauldron, which would protect one’s Spirit.. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have dared to control such terrifying Spirit power since it would be no different from seeking death.
Bang.
Zhu Lian drew a deep breath and began to guide the terrifying Spirit power to gather. Countless ear-piercing screams spread to his Spirit, making his face distort. Blood even seemed to flow from his eyes and nose.
He was only in the Spirit state, so of course it wasn’t real blood, but it was still a sign of intensely stimulating the Spirit.
Ah!
Zhu Lian lifted his head and roared skywards. He desperately tried to control and guide the terrifying Spirit power. The feeling was similar to dragging an ancient beast that could destroy everything.
But fortunately Zhu Lian’s Spirit cultivation wasn’t weak. With his guidance, the terrifying Spirit power slowly gathered and formed a Spirit mountain in the sky. The mountain was at least ten thousand feet tall, blotting out the sun and sky and exuding destructive power.
An attack of the Spirit wasn’t as gorgeous and dazzling as that of Genesis Qi, but it was similarly filled with murderous intent. The slightest carelessness could lead to the Spirit dissipating.
As they watched the Spirit mountain form in the sky above, everyone’s expression changed uncontrollably.
How would a full-strength attack of the Fire Pavilion be easy to deal with?
“Lu Xiao and Zhu Lian are too crazy,” Mu Liu remarked.
How could they not tell that even the Fire Pavilion wouldn’t be strong enough to display Spirit power of that level? The Fire Pavilion had to be using some sort of other method that was bound to have repercussions.

Evidently, in order to win, the Fire Pavilion was doing whatever it took.
Mu Qingyan also bit her red lips and gave a wry smile. She didn’t know what to say.
If the Wind Pavilion lost to such a crazy method, then it wouldn’t be Zhou Yuan’s fault.
“Zhou Yuan, I want to see how you would block the attack this time!” Zhu Lian thundered, his face twisted with a sinister expression. The Spirit mountain pressed down and shrouded everything with its shadow, bringing the power of destruction.
Zhou Yuan lifted his head. Looking at the Spirit mountain, he revealed a solemn expression. Even he, who was at the initial Transformative stage, felt a little frightened by Spirit power of that level.
He peered down at the illusory-like lantern in front of him. It seemed to have a tiny flame inside it.
Spirit Lantern Art.
Zhou Yuan smiled. He no longer had hesitation. With one thought, he guided the torrent of Spirit needles hovering in the void into the lantern in front of him.
Boom!
Incomparably powerful Spirit power poured into the Spirit lantern, causing it to shake violently as if it were about to burst apart.
The influx of Spirit power was too strong.
And the Spirit lantern was only transformed by Zhou Yuan’s Spirit.
The feeling was like pouring many tons of lake water into a bucket.
Zhou Yuan frantically activated his Spirit power to stabilise the Spirit lantern to stop the Spirit lantern from shattering. His mind trembled violently, as if thousands of needles were piercing it, bringing him unimaginable pain.
Zhou Yuan gritted his teeth, enduring the unbearable pain.
Rumble!
While Zhou Yuan suffered the torment, the torrent of Spirit needles completely entered the Spirit lantern.
Everything fell silent.
Zhou Yuan’s Spirit of the Transformative stage also turned a lot more illusory, a sign of over-exhausting his Spirit. He raised his head, and with blazing eyes, he watched the tremendous Spirit mountain crashing down.
He most likely wouldn’t be able to surpass the power of his current Spirit Lantern Art for a long while.
This time it wasn’t just his powers alone but that of thousands of people of the Wind Pavilion!
Boom!
Cracks emerged around the Spirit lantern, then it shattered.

A monstrous flame shot out, shocking everyone. It was slightly transparent, but when everyone’s Spirits saw the flame, they strangely felt fear.
Spirit Flame?!
Countless shocked voices rang out.
It wasn’t that they had never seen Spirit Flame before…but it was the first time they had seen a Spirit Flame of such scale!
The Spirit Flame roared out like a giant fire dragon!
Even Zhou Yuan and Zhu Lian, who were at the initial Transformative stage, couldn’t produce Spirit Flame of this level because their Spirit power was lacking!
But right now it really appeared before them…
A cold shiver ran down Zhu Lian’s spine. He mumbled, “How is this possible? How can he turn other people’s Spirit power into Spirit Flame?!”
It should be said that only Transformative stage Spirits could form Spirit Flames. Otherwise, no matter how strong one’s Spirit power was, it would be unachievable. For example, even if the accumulated Spirit power on the Fire Pavilion’s side was tremendous, it was impossible for Zhu Lian to create a wisp of Spirit Flame.
But Zhou Yuan was able to.
Additionally, the Spirit Flame’s level was far beyond Zhu Lian’s imagination.
Therefore, he was in a state of shocked disbelief.
The fire dragon formed from Spirit Flame roared up and collided with the Spirit mountain crashing down.
Whether it was inside or outside the Heaven Flame Cauldron, all eyes were intently watching.
The fire dragon transformed into a sea of raging flames, enveloping the Spirit mountain without an earthshaking boom. Beneath the scorching heat of the Spirit Flame, the Spirit mountain began to melt at an unbelievable speed.
Spirit Flame naturally had a great destructive power to the Spirit.
In just a dozen breaths, the Spirit mountain melted completely.
There was only the sound of blazing flames; everyone was utterly silent.
Zhu Lian’s expression was frozen, his smile bitter and full of terror. Even Lu Xiao clenched his hands tight, his body trembling in anger and shock.
He couldn’t believe that he still failed after such a well-prepared plan.
Zhou Yuan was clearly just at the intermediate Divine Dwelling stage, how could he bring him so much trouble?!
In the distance, even Mu Liu and Mu Qingyan were dumbfounded. They had never expected such a result.
“That guy…” Mu Liu smacked his lips with an unusually solemn expression. “Why do I feel that he could really beat Lu Xiao and win the position of chief pavilion master?”
Although the Heaven Flame Ritual focused on the power of each of the four pavilions as a whole, the unbelievable and incredible things that Zhou Yuan accomplished made people not dare to underestimate him.
Mu Qingyan surprisingly didn’t argue. She pursed her lips and muttered, “Maybe…it is possible.”
What they had seen was too shocking.
Zhou Yuan drew a deep breath. His eyes were still as cold as a blade as he fixed them on Lu Xiao. Their eyes clashed across the sky, and their coldness seemingly plummeted the temperature of the world.
“It looks like my Wind Pavilion has won this time,” Zhou Yuan’s calm voice sounded.
He waved his sleeve, turning the remnant Spirit Flame into tens of thousands of sparks, shrouding everyone of the Fire Pavilion.
The Spirit Flame blazed, directly turning the Spirits of the Fire Pavilion into sparks that then shot into the sky.
Zhu Lian dazedly let the Spirit flame incinerate his Spirit. He turned into a spark and vanished.
Lu Xiao also didn’t resist, because the outcome of the battle was decided.
The Fire Pavilion had been utterly defeated in the Heaven Flame Ritual.
He only stared at Zhou Yuan, the Spirit Flame reflecting in his eyes. In the end, an indifferent voice rang out, “Zhou Yuan, I won’t let you off at the chief pavilion master battle next month.”
In the depths of his eyes was endless anger.
The Spirit Flame soared, and Lu Xiao’s Spirit turned into a spark and shot into the sky like the others.
The tens of thousands of Spirits of the Fire Pavilion had all dissipated.
In the Heaven Flame Ritual, the final result of the battle between the Wind Pavilion and the Fire Pavilion was beyond everyone’s expectations.
It was utterly silent both inside and outside the Heaven Flame Cauldron.
