《Dragon Prince Yuan》Chapter 938 Split Into Teams

The zone containing the Fallen Abyss’s world showed signs of distortion, forming a clear boundary with the outside world. It was blocked off all year round, but the nine region’s Law Domain experts were using their power to forcibly tear it open.
As Zhou Yuan watched the crack widen, his eyes lit up. He was very interested in the Alpha Spiritium found in the Fallen Abyss. After connecting his nine Divine Dwellings, he would also need to think about advancing to the Heavenly Sun stage.
Naturally, an ordinary grade of the Heavenly Sun stage couldn’t satisfy his appetite.
In the void above, Zhao Xiansun said indifferently, “There were originally two more small steps in the three trials, but now it doesn’t seem necessary. So, after much deliberation, we’re opening the Fallen Abyss.”
Zhou Yuan pursed his lips because he felt he was being targeted.
Among the three trials, the most difficult one was the Sever Nine Dragons. Was Zhao Xiansun omitting the other two levels to let them join the main show and face powerful enemies because the Tianyuan Region had smoothly passed the trial?
It was as though Zhao Xiansun couldn’t wait to see something bad happen to the Tianyuan Region.
Zhou Yuan’s mind was racing, but he remained calm and composed. It didn’t matter whether other people wanted to see misfortune befall the Tianyuan Region; the Tianyuan Region just needed to do their best. After all, it was a good thing that two of the three trials were removed, since that would save them some of his strength.
“The Fallen Abyss has opened, and I believe you all know the rules. Everybody go and prepare,” Zhao Xiansun said.
His voice faded, and a commotion broke out among the people of the nine regions.
Many Law Domain experts had perished in the Fallen Abyss, and when they had died, their Law Domains had collapsed and greatly impacted the world’s rules and regulations, thus forming many strange spectacles.

Therefore, many independent spaces had formed within the Fallen Abyss, each like a mini domain with its own mysteriousness.
And it was in these mini domains that the power of the Law Domain accumulated and gave birth to a large amount of Spiritium.
The nine regions tournament was a competition for these mini domains.
The more mini domains one had, the more spiritium one would gain. This was a great opportunity for anyone. After all, wasn’t the fierce battle in the Fallen Abyss for Spiritium?
Moreover, Alpha Spiritium was also born in dangerous mini domains in which the top heaven prides ranked on the Divine Dwelling List would compete.
Zhou Yuan turned to say to Lu Xiao and the others, “We will split into five groups led by me, Lu Xiao, Han Yuan, Mu Liu and Ye Bingling.”
The moment they enter the Fallen Abyss, they would be randomly teleported to many different mini domains. Generally speaking, the more teams teleported into a mini domain, the greater the danger and the greater the likelihood there would be more Spiritium.
This meant that the nine regions needed to divide into several groups and take several routes to compete for more mini domains and obtain the most Spiritium.
Of course, the size of the group couldn’t be too small; otherwise, it would be impossible to compete against the groups of the other regions.
According to what happened in the past, the number of people in each team was around 400 to 700, which was the most suitable range.
The Tianyuan Region only had 2,000 people, so Zhou Yuan divided them into five groups, each with around 400 people.
The other eight regions had many more people. The Wanzu Region, which had the highest number of people, might have divided into ten larger teams. This would undoubtedly give them an advantage from the very start because the amount of Spiritium obtained would determine the final ranking in the nine regions tournament.

In truth, Zhou Yuan would like to split into more teams, but doing so would only weaken the strength of each group and not bring much benefit. Splitting the Tianyuan Region’s people into five groups was already the limit.
Zhou Yuan held the light scroll, which was the pass to enter the Fallen Abyss. He instilled Genesis Qi into it, and it immediately erupted with specks of light. The specks descended onto the 2,000 people from the Tianyuan Region.
“These markings are very sensitive. If you encounter life-threatening danger, you can break them.” Zhou Yuan ran his eyes over the crowd, slowly adding, “Everyone, although the Spiritium is good, don’t be too greedy. The most important thing is your life.”
Once one destroyed the marking, one would be sent out of the Fallen Abyss and be disqualified. Therefore, everybody was always reluctant to break them, and if they didn’t, the price they had to pay in the end would be their own life.
In the nine regions tournament, in order to fight for Alpha Spiritium, no one would hold back.
Everybody nodded.
In the void above, Zhao Xiansun glanced at the scroll in Zhou Yuan's hand, a strange look flashing across his eyes. His eyes drooped, and his indifferent voice rang out again, “If all parties are ready, then come through.”
Boom!
The moment his voice faded, Zhao Mushen sped out, followed by the vast number of people from the Wanzu Region.
The thousands of people raced through the crack and vanished in the blink of an eye, as though the tremendous space instantly swallowed them.
The Wanzu Region’s movement immediately broke the peace. The other regions also set off, causing the Genesis Qi of the universe to surge violently.
“Go!” Zhou Yuan thundered and sped out, Lu Xiao and the others quickly following. Their 2,000 people skimmed across the air, then vanished without a trace as they passed through the crack.
As the countless people of the nine regions entered the Fallen Abyss, the world fell silent.
Zhao Xiansun smiled. “Everyone, the nine regions tournament has truly begun. We will all be waiting here.”
He flicked his sleeve, gathering mighty Genesis Qi to form a compass-like shadow in the void. It was a compass-like mirror, and multiple light specks appeared within it. The specks were each a different color, representing the people of the nine regions.
Although they couldn’t interfere with the operation in the Fallen Abyss, the nine regions’ Law Domain experts had refined the passes so they could roughly detect the changes happening inside.
The other Law Domain experts also sat down cross-legged in the air. Genesis Qi turned into clouds beneath them, and the Genesis Qi of the universe gathered around their bodies. It was as if there were many strange and mysterious spectacles happening.
“I’m really curious which region will be eliminated first.” Zhao Xiansun chuckled, glancing at Chi Jing not far away. An imperceptible smile curved his lips.
In the distant Fallen City, countless people reluctantly retracted their gazes from the empty mirror in the sky. They knew that the battle that was about to happen in Fallen Abyss would be truly marvelous. It would be the true nine regions tournament, but they couldn’t watch and enjoy it.
It didn’t matter. When the final result came out, it would still cause an uproar.
Thus, numerous people in Fallen City began to guess the nine regions tournament’s final rankings. Unsurprisingly, the Wanzu Region and Zhao Mushen topped the list, with Wu Yao and Su Youwei following behind.
As for Zhou Yuan and the Tianyuan Region, they were still very unpopular.
Even after his amazing achievement in the Sever Nine Dragons round, the vast majority still wasn’t optimistic about Zhou Yuan and the Tianyuan Region because his opponents were the other eight regions!

The Blood Queen
The rain fell from the sky with ferocity and smashed into the pavement filling the air with the sound of a stampede. The noise was deafening as I struggled to stand up. The blood from my wound was covering the ground beneath me and I covered it with my hand as I pushed off the pavement. On my feet now I struggled to step towards the grass. Through the howling wind and pounding raindrops I could hear what sounded like a chant, calling me and drawing me towards the cliffs edge. "Vienna, my Queen, my blood Queen" I started to move my feet faster until I could run towards the edge. Only when I was at the edge did I turn and look back one last time at the castle behind me. I could see him standing on the balcony, he was screaming my name. I could just hear it over the rain. I unclipped my red cape and whispered goodbye to him. As he jumped off the balcony to run towards me I leaned backwards and let my body fall with the rushing water to the river far down below. I carried her whispers with me to the dark edge until they vanished.
