《Dragon Prince Yuan》Chapter 1116 A Little Face
Advertisement
A giant crane hovered in the sky, releasing gales with every flap of its enormous wings. However, it was not the white crane that pressured Zuoqiu Qingyu and Luluo but the white-haired man atop its head.
Even from such a distance, the Genesis Qi pressure from his body made them unable to breathe properly.
The two girls’ faces paled a little.
Tong He’s sharp gaze locked onto the two girls as his indifferent voice sounded, “Turn yourselves in. Neither of you can escape.”
Zuoqiu Qingyu gritted her teeth and said, “Honored one, we have no intentions of offending you, and what happened previously was an accident. Why must you keep pressing the matter? Are all Hunyuan Heaven people so arrogant and tyrannical?”
Tong He’s gaze paused on Zuoqiu Qingyu before slowly turning to Luluo. “You may leave, but your friend has to stay behind.”
He was very concerned about how Luluo had made them lose control of their tamed beasts. This was a tremendous threat to them.
Zuoqiu Qingyu knew that bargaining was useless, and she could only grab Luluo’s hand. “Go!”
Jingle!
Zuoqiu Qingyu’s figure turned into a blur as she shot deeper into the cave.
“Stubborn fools.” Tong He shook his head. The giant crane suddenly flapped its wings, sending out a raging tempest. The giant mountain was rapidly torn apart as wind blades homed in on the fleeing figures as if they had a mind of their own.
Thud! Thud!
It was as if the entire area was being overturned. Zuoqiu Qingyu fled at full speed with Luluo while wind blades frantically chased them.
Fortunately, her movement art was extremely amazing. Any wind blade that sliced towards them was dodged by a hair’s breadth.
“What a formidable movement art.” Tong He was somewhat surprised. The girl was clearly at the initial Heavenly Sun stage and would at most be average when placed in any of the Yushou Region teams. Despite this, if they were to compare movement arts alone, even Tong He would not be able to compete.
After all, successfully avoiding his attacks while running away with a burden was honestly amazing. It seemed that although the Cangxuan Heaven people were weak, they did have their specialties.

“But it’s futile.” Tong He shook his head and raised his hand.
Rumble!
Wind walls made from Genesis Qi descended from the sky, sealing off the entire area before swiftly shrinking towards the middle.
The wind walls formed a cage. There was no escape no matter how fast Zuoqiu Qingyu was. The walls would continuously close in on Zuoqiu Qingyu, giving her less and less space to dodge. In the end, she would have nowhere to hide.
Zuoqiu Qingyu soon realized their predicament. She bit her red lips as a sliver of powerlessness flitted across her peach blossom eyes. The other party was too strong, and she merely specialized in agility. It was impossible for her to face such an opponent directly.
It was at this moment that Luluo suddenly cried out, “Little Frost!”
Chee!
The small bird on her shoulder rose into the air and blew out a torrent of icy blue qi that smashed into one of the wind walls. Frost spread, freezing the entire wall before it shattered to pieces.
Luluo urged, “Qingyu, leave!”
Zuoqiu Qingyu felt a rush of energy and immediately pushed her speed to the limit, pulling Luluo along as they hurriedly escaped.
“Oh?” Tong He watched in amazement. His gaze paused on the little blue bird on Luluo’s shoulder. “An offshoot of the Heavenly Ice Phoenix bloodline...no wonder those guys were tempted by it. It’s unfortunate that you’ve encountered me.” Tong He chuckled and made a seal with one hand.
Rumble!
A giant wave of Genesis Qi rose from behind the shattered wind wall, turning into a giant azure Genesis Qi hand.
A shadow enveloped the two girls as the hand swatted down toward them. It was impossible to dodge no matter how nimble they were.
Luluo gritted her teeth and made a seal. The small blue bird on her shoulder transformed into a flash of blue that shot into her body. Glowing ice-blue runes appeared on her face as her Genesis Qi rapidly rose.
Luluo opened her tiny mouth and blew.
Hoo!
An ice-blue storm swept out, and a giant blue bird emerged from within. Endless frost spread across the area as it collided with the Genesis Qi hand.

Boom!
Berserk shockwaves erupted, destroying the surrounding mountains.
Luluo and Zuoqiu Qingyu were also sent flying, then crashed into a cliff.
Urgh.
Luluo vomited a mouthful of blood as the ice markings on her face disappeared. Little Frost reappeared on her shoulder, looking rather weak with its dim feathers.
Luluo gritted her teeth and said, “Qingyu, leave quickly! Don’t care about me!”
Zuoqiu Qingyu icily snorted. “Stop talking about leaving. If we die, we die together.”
Luluo pulled Zuoqiu Qingyu’s hand and hopelessly said, “Cangxuan Heaven is too weak. Those Sacred Palace bastards, they caused our Cangxuan Heaven factions to fall apart the moment we arrived.”
Zuoqiu Qingyu sighed softly. Compared to the other heavens, Cangxuan Heaven was indeed too weak. This was something anyone could see from how initial Heavenly Sun experts like them were brought in to make up the numbers. Moreover, they were new Heavenly Sun experts that had recently advanced right before the battle for Guyuan Heaven.
With the exception of certain monsters, their cultivation speed was already considered top-tier. After all, Cangxuan Heaven’s cultivation conditions were far worse than Hunyuan Heaven’s.
Due to the Battle of the Heavens, their sect had given them a tremendous amount of cultivation resources, allowing them to ascend to the Heavenly Sun stage and gain the qualification to enter Guyuan Heaven.
Of course, not just anyone could enjoy such treatment, and only a handful of disciples were given these benefits. From this, one could see how highly regarded Zuoqiu Qingyu and Luluo were in their sect.
Unfortunately, no matter how talented one was, even the most talented person couldn’t shine without sufficient cultivation resources. The Hunyuan Heaven teams they encountered were not more talented than the two girls, but rarely did they find any initial Heavenly Sun stage experts among them.
Luluo gazed at the giant Genesis Qi hand that was looming towards them and said, “Looks like we’re going to die here. What a pity.”
Zuoqiu Qingyu pulled in Luluo by the shoulder to console her.
Luluo hugged the small blue bird and suddenly said, “I wonder if our Cangxuan Heaven will be in a different state if Zhou Yuan was still around.”
Zuoqiu Qingyu was taken aback as she recalled memories of the young man that she had not seen for several years. There had been no news of Zhou Yuan after that earth-shaking affair, and he was even rumored to have died...
If he were leading the Cangxuan Heaven team, things would probably be different, right?
“What’s the point of saying such things now? Who knows whether he’s even alive or dead.” Zuoqiu Qingyu’s eyes dimmed somewhat.
“And Yaoyao, it’s been so many years since I last saw her. I wonder how she’s been.” Luluo pouted. She had already given up on struggling. After all, the gap between both sides was just far too great.
The white-haired man’s strength was definitely apex-level among Cangxuan Heaven’s Heavenly Sun experts.
In this hopeless situation, they began to recall their two friends who had disappeared for a long time.
The two girls hugged each other as the giant hand descended with terrifying power, causing the land below to crumble.
“Oh?” However, while they were waiting for death, Luluo’s eyes suddenly widened. White brush hairs had suddenly appeared above them, spreading outwards at an astonishing speed. The hairs ultimately took the form of a giant spider web.
“What is that?” Zuoqiu Qingyu was also stunned.
While they were confused, the Genesis Qi hand ruthlessly struck the web, causing a storm of frightening Genesis Qi to unfurl.
Zuoqiu Qingyu and Luluo watched in shock as the seemingly weak spider web withstood the attack. When the Genesis Qi storm finally dissipated, the web remained firmly fixed in the air above them, casting its protective shadow over their bodies.
In the sky above, Tong He’s pupils shrank slightly.
Tong He, Zuoqiu Qingyu and Luluo looked towards the center of the spider web.
A shadow shuddered as a slender figure gradually appeared in their sights.
Meanwhile, a chuckle broke the silence. “Captain Tong He, they are my friends. Could you give me a little face and let them off?”
Unconcealable joy emerged on Zuoqiu Qingyu’s and Luluo’s faces, and they involuntarily cried out, “Zhou Yuan?!!”

While the colonies maintained their independence, the Conclave’s control over access to interstellar travel made them the de facto power amongst humanity.
