Su Tao and Xie Chang talked for two hours. But just when Su Tao was about to leave, he was suddenly stopped by Xie Chang.

“Those who are picky draws hate easily. They’re usually those standing at the top of the pyramid.” laughed Xie Chang.

Waving his hand, Su Tao denied, “It’s not that exaggerating. The two women from before looked pretty pleasing, but I just didn’t show it on my face. After all, I can’t let you look down on me.”

Xie Chang was slightly startled by Su Tao’s words and smiled, “Well, that’s also a good reason. Don’t worry and go ahead. They’re still around, right? I’ll keep it a secret for you.”

“One should not go back. Since we’ve already missed each other, that means that we have no fate.” laughed Su Tao.

Xie Chang tried probing, but he never expected that Su Tao could keep himself controlled so well. He smiled, “Your will is stronger than I’d imagined.”

“What has it got to do with will?” Su Tao was surprised as he looked at Xie Chang.

Running a marathon is just physical, and while instinct is a different story. Willpower will show if a person can keep himself under control despite being tempted with beauty. Men would generally court a woman, and it’s extraordinary if you can keep it under control.”

Su Tao never expected that he would come across a friend here. After a brief pondering, he asked, “Why are you trying to test me?”

Xie Chang smiled. He didn’t try to hide his intentions at all and explained, “That’s because I’m currently analyzing if you’re worth following.”

“Aren’t you supposed to follow Yan Jing instead? What has it got to do with following me?” Su Tao smiled.

Xie Chang took a sip of the wine and relaxed his brows, “That’s because the boss already said that meeting you will be the same as seeing her. The two of you are a family, so following him is the same as following you. What’s the difference?”

Su Tao was a little surprised. He never expected that Yan Jing would say that to her subordinates. He smiled, “Then you’ll have to keep testing me. Just these beauties aren’t enough to test me out.”

Xie Chang waved his hand and laughed, “Everything’s the same. You’re pretty good, and I trust the boss’ judgment.”

“What are you doing?” Liu Ruochen huffed. Her first reaction was that Su Tao wasn’t completely drunk and he was just faking it!

“It’s more comfortable this way.” Su Tao mumbled.

“Comfortable your head!” Liu Ruochen huffed. “Let go or I’ll really get angry!”

Su Tao muttered something and turned around, releasing his grab around Liu Ruochen’s neck. Liu Ruochen was not sure that Su Tao was just faking it.

She walked over and turned on the light. Su Tao was all curled up at the corner of the bed. She walked over quietly and pulled the quilt under him away, which Su Tao fell onto the ground following the momentum.

Liu Ruochen originally thought that Su Tao was just faking it, but there was no response from Su Tao when he fell onto the ground.

Startled by this scene, Liu Ruochen began to doubt if Su Tao was really asleep.
