And there wouldn't be any risk of rebellion, as the crown prince was already the rightful heir. After all, if the House of God Ordainment attacked the Eternal-Life God-Dynasty and defeated it by force, it would cause significant damage to its destiny.
But if the crown prince just took over, the destiny would remain completely intact.
