Late night, Dual Earth Mountain appeared to be especially quiet.
Under the old tree of a lone yard, two men stood at the stone benches and conversed lightly while enjoying wine.
“The following matters should be quite simple, right?” said the man who looked younger.
“Since New Moon Land disobeyed the decision of us royalties, even if the people in that territory are all slaughtered, us royalties and Divine Sect will not care,” said Family Master Gu as he stroked his beard.
“How can I be so cruel?” The young man laughed.
“No, this is not cruelty. They are causing us trouble by being unwilling to migrate. Are they going to use their meager power to oppose Ancient Flood Dragon Person themselves? Laughable,” said Family Master Gu.
That young man held his wine cup and offered a toast to Family Master Gu, then gulped down the wine.

I could give you a typical synopsis that you'll gloss over...or I could tell you the essence of what the story will be. Still with me? Great! Let's get to it... WISH MOUNTAIN is inspired by fairy tales and, in a way, animated Disney movies. The biggest inspiration of them all is Beauty and the Beast. Why? Because I love it and hate it at the same time. The thing I hate about the movie is how the villain, Gaston, never got a chance for redemption. The movie was all about what is on the inside that counts, right? Beast went from bad-to-good because Belle learned to love and care about him. Was Gaston not worth that same chance for redemption? Sure he was a bad person, but so bad that he couldn't also undergo the same kind of change for the better? It was this question that got me thinking... what would Gaston's redemption look like? What kind of story would that be? From this nugget an entire epic story unfolded that has both outgrown, but has never forgotten, that original inspiration. So what can you expect? In essence: something like an epic, adult-orientated Disney story, which is gloves-off when it comes to violence and character trauma. I'll be doing my best to write a story that is as close to a classic adventure fairy tale with real stakes and meaningful characters as I can. The story begins with two orphans; Amaryllis and Chicory, who are whisked away to the magical WISH MOUNTAIN, and are faced with fending for themselves all alone. These chosen ones are venerated and worshipped like celebrities, unbelievable riches lie only a single dungeon-exploration away for them, they are called Machia. What will happen to our protagonist when he awakens as a Machia and discovers that he can actually program these magic-cartridges?... The Earth also changed drastically since the dungeons appeared, how could it not? These unknown, giant towers suddenly started spewing out hordes of fiends and monstrosities. Only The Machia were able to defend against these attacks on humanity. Countries were destroyed, safe-havens were build and then yet again destroyed. Eventually humanity adapted, like it always does. The economy was rebuild and centered around these new towers, these dungeons, the treasures they hold outweigh their dangers. Life is relatively safe again, for most at least… Read about Reo’s exploits, an immigrant from the Netherlands, as he tries to honor his dead parents and… find love? Establish a Guild?! Live the Ideal Harem life?!! BECOME PIRATE KING?!!! Okay maybe not that last one, but Reo will definitely leave his mark behind on this world full of mystery. This story features romance, comradery, an interesting power system and a post-apocalyptic world with amusing characters, what more do you want?! No seriously, I’m always open to constructive feedback. This story also displays my interpretation of a magic-coding-language (based on JAVA). Although knowledge about coding helps, you can also enjoy the story without it 😊.
