"Eirinn… can I come in?" Leguna asked after a gentle knock.
"Yes, Big Brother Leguna," Annelotte, disguised as Eirinn, said.
Unlike Sala, Brani knew how terrifying Leguna was. She still needed to rely on the current crisis, so she didn't dare to easily offend him. Among those things she did to ensure he didn't get on his bad side was treating Eirinn well.
When Sala controlled House Elvin, Eirinn had been imprisoned by her. While Leguna didn't say anything about it, he was actually quite dissatisfied, and Brani picked up on it. So, she relaxed the security around Eirinn and would never dare to arrest and monitor her.

One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. This is the original version of Origin before I rewrote it. It's much more simpler, some names and personalities are a little different. THere's nowhere near as much back story or character development/interaction. But the story is essentially at the end of book one. I wrote this 15 odd years ago, and with a bit of polish it doesn't look too bad. The story like Origin is about a group of college students who find a ship that is the last remnant of an ancient human space faring civilisation, they fix her up and go back into space. Along they way they'll meet alot of aliens, religious fundamentalists and conmen.
