Xia Lei had left, and the Germans also dispersed. Only Ling Han and Song Baicheng remained in the hall, with ugly expressions on their faces.

Ling Han knew what Song Baicheng was talking about, but he said, “If that is what you think, then you are underestimating Xia Lei.”

“If he is not taking revenge for what happened in the past, then what is it?” Song Baicheng couldn’t figure it out.

“Did you forget who came by this morning?” said Ling Han.

Song Baicheng paused, then understood all of a sudden. “Mr Z, are you talking about Fan Fan? Could she be behind this?”

“I guess you are not entirely stupid.”

“Xia Lei actually wants to help Fan Fan get the position of the Director of the ZN Bureau. Is he crazy?”

“He is not crazy. He is very sure of what he wants.”

“He will regret it! Boss Zongzheng favours you, and he’s supporting you too. Whatever Fan Fan does is useless. Xia Lei is intervening now and helping Fan Fan to go against you – is he not afraid of us making trouble for him in the future?” said Song Baicheng furiously.

“Do you still not get it? It is because he is scared of us causing trouble for him in the future that he’s doing this.”

Song Baicheng stared blankly.

"Old Song, you have followed me for so many years... This is a critical time now. Will you be willing to make a little sacrifice for me?"

“Mr Z, do you doubt my loyalty? Tell me, what do you want me to do?” Song Baicheng’s eyes were filled with determination. He looked like a completely different person from before.

“Very good! I will gave Boss Zongzheng a call to explain the situation, then you will go turn yourself in. Remember – turn yourself in to the police, and not to Boss Zongzheng.”

“I…” Song Baicheng had obviously not expected Ling Han to suggest something like this.

“Don’t worry. This exchange will be done soon, and you will be able to come out at anytime after the German leave. I should have taken over Boss Zongzheng’s position by then. I will give you Fan Fan’s position when you return,” said Ling Han.

Song Baicheng did not hesitate. He nodded. “I understand. Please call Boss Zongzheng and I will turn myself in. I was the one who caused this mess, so I cannot drag you down with me. I will shoulder all the blame for this!”

Meanwhile, in Koen’s room.

"Miss Sylvia, there is only the two of us in here, so can you tell me the truth now?" said Koen.

"Mr Koen, to be honest with you, Mark Armin gave me clear orders to get on Mr Xia's good side and obtain information on the Hellhound One-soldier Cannon. Sylvia pointed at the white tank top around her waist and said with a smile, "I need to return it to Mr Xia. You have your work to do, and I also have things I want to do."

"I came to return your top." Sylvia walked to Xia Lei’s side. She gave a small tug and the tank top around her waist slipped off her body, leaving just that purple lace underwear on her lower body. Xia Lei shrugged. "I'm on my way to the workshop to do some work. You want to come with me?"

"Of course." Sylvia tied Xia Lei’s tank top around her waist again.

Two Thunder Horse Military Factory security guards stood in front of the new factory's core workshop. They stood as straight as pencils when they saw Xia Lei coming over, and saluted him in unison.

Xia Lei nodded in acknowledgement. He entered the password and scanned his fingerprint to open the door and brought Sylvia inside.

The second generation core workshop was very quiet. With a weight close to a thousand tons, the Thunder Dragon intelligent lathe second generation was like a Transformer which had yet transformed. It sat on the ground looking like it could turn into an invincible Transformer robot at any time.

It was not her first time her seeing it, but Sylvia was still mesmerised by the sight of the Thunder Dragon intelligent lathe second generation. It was a miracle to her, and it had a sexiness to it, just like its owner.

The first thing Xia Lei did when entered the control room was to turn off the surveillance cameras in the workshop.

Sylvia followed Xia Lei into the central control room and laughed. "You actually brought me here on purpose, didn't you? You don’t want to stay in the villa because the guy surnamed Ling had not left yet, and you don’t want him to find out the secret we share."

"I’ll get mad if you keep at this," said Xia Lei.

"So what if I make you mad? What will you do?" Sylvia's voice was filled with provocation. "What dare you do to me?"

Xia Lei walked towards her...

Half an hour later.

"Sylvia, come do it with me."

"Mmh? You still want more?" Sylvia looked at Xia Lei a little nervously.

Xia Lei slapped her ass. "I am not talking about that. I am talking about work. I am inviting you to come work at my company. You’re free to quote your conditions for employment."

“I…” Sylvia hesitated.

“It’s okay, you don’t need to give me a reply right now,” said Xia Lei.

“What position will you give me if I come over to your company?”

"Chief Engineer and Technical director, of course. You’re only the boss of a precision workshop in Rheinmetall AG, but here, you will receive a bigger stage for your talents," said Xia Lei. "I am planning on creating an engine project to produce engine for the tanks and armoured vehicles that will be manufactured soon. The engine for the tanks and armoured vehicles we’re currently buying from China Industrial Group do not reach my requirements. If I’m making tanks, I want to make the world's best tank. "I am not good with engines."

"Annina is. You are good with mechanical processing, and she has done research on engines to some extent. You would make a strong team if you work together. Besides, don’t we also have me?
