Chapter 833: The Gathering of the Strong
Xiao Yan’s three man group followed the route that the female servant from earlier had described. They walked through the enormous Black Emperor Pavilion for a long while before finally finding the resting area that occupied a large space.
This resting area retained a quiet environment. The lush green clusters around the buildings and the courtyard added a faint refreshing fragrance to the air braced his attention. This serene area caused Xiao Yan’s group to feel extremely satisfied.
The enormous residence area was divided into the Sky, Ground, and Human categories. The Human category rooms were for those experts or factions who possessed little reputation within the Black-Corner Region. Normally speaking, one would have the qualification to stay in this place as long as one reached the Dou Wang class. The Ground category rooms were for those who had reached the Dou Huang class and some factions that possessed quite a great reputation within the Black-Corner Region.

The Crystern: Heart of Adventure has been dropped out of the Writathon Challenge and placed on hiatus until further notice, in order to better plan out what's happening and to give me time to work on older projects. Fifteen-year-old Skyler Kadrix III wishes to set off on a journey to find the fabled Cyrstern, a skybeast unlike any other and the origin of the Crystals that grant people special abilities, increase their own abilities, and even allow them to gain Experience and Levels. A promise to his mother has kept him from setting off yet, but he's nearly ready to leave. When he meets Finn, who came with his master, the elf Sara, in search of a relic of the Ancients rumored to have been hidden somewhere on their skybeast, Skyler finds his journey beginning sooner than he'd expected. The journey takes the young boys across the sea of clouds, to various skybeasts and adventures. Whether they find the Crystern or not, they don't care as long as they keep moving forward. Posting schedule TBD upon return. The Sexual Content tag is for once the boys are adults, not while they're still minors. Because of this, it will be a fair while before the qualifying content appears in-story.

We follow the drama of Lita, alongside a cast of several other POV characters, as she discovers secrets (both open and purposefully hidden), makes well intentioned but sometimes disastrous decisions, and encounters prejudices and truths. Demons may be evil… or not. Humans may be good… or not. God is aloof… or not. Publishing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is my first real work! Super excited to be publishing! I don’t spend a lot of time describing gore, sex, trauma or any other type of scene that would be labeled as mature. I've labeled the story as mature in every way more because I don't quite understand the standard and don't know if I've crossed the line at all (and I'd rather be safe than get my story rejected for under labeling ;)). Mostly I hint, start the scene then interrupt/fade out, and in general let the reader know it happens but without making it too explicit. (I’d love to hear how I did on this! And if it was still entertaining/informative without being traumatizing.) This is what I prefer to read myself so that’s what I write. I’m not apologizing. ;) If I mislabeled my mature content it was by accident. And, yes, the pacing was also on purpose. Beyond that, I welcome any feedback you want to give! Enjoy the story!
