Surprisingly, the black silhouette managed to make its way through the domain that Chen Feng had set up to enter his body.

“Chen Feng!”

Sun Ming’s group of four were shocked. Seeing that caused cold sweat to break out from their bodies and they wanted nothing more than to run away from Chen Feng. However, the domain that Chen Feng created remained stable, not a single fluctuation in sight. Due to that, the four of them grew slightly more relaxed.

That said, the four of them still had their guards up. Once a Deepsea Spectre entered a cultivator’s body, there was a 90% chance that it would successfully take over the cultivator’s body.

That was careless of me. However, it also proves that the other party is very powerful. Chen Feng was facing an attack from the Deepsea Spectre. As the Deepsea Spectre was about to devour Chen Feng’s soul, however, two massive soul vortexes emerged from the depths of his sea of wisdom. The suction force that they were releasing far surpassed the suction force from the Deepsea Spectre.

Chen Feng had prepared the two soul vortexes a long time ago. One was formed using the Heavengulping Absorption Technique while the other one was formed using the Demonic Heavengorging Art.

The two secret techniques were amongst the most domineering existences in the universe. One was the Celestial Longevity Plane’s super-tier secret technique while the other was the Demon Plane’s pinnacle-tier cultivation technique. Although Chen Feng had only managed to master a smidge of the two techniques, devouring an Earthen Immortal was not an issue for him.

As expected, upon making contact with the two vortexes, the Deepsea Spectre cried out wretchedly and its figure shrank back as it attempted to escape. However, it was already too late. The two soul vortexes moved to sandwich the Deepsea Spectre in between them.

The formidable devouring power from the two vortexes split the Deepsea Spectre apart into fine streams of energy, which were all devoured by Chen Feng. Only, some time was needed to do that. That was the power of an Earthen Immortal, after all.

“Chen Feng, are you all right? The water yaos are coming!” Some of the water yaos had come to besiege them. Amongst them were two peak-level Yao Kings.

Sun Ming’s team of four could do nothing against such a line-up. Moreover, the four of them were presently within Chen Feng’s domain. Thus, they could not even take action.

“I’m fine,” Chen Feng said smilingly. His eyes shone and it seemed as though sword light was charging out from his eyes.

“Don’t worry, I’ll bring you fellows out.” Chen Feng swung the sword in his hand, employing the Exploding Sword Energy move to blow up the water yaos coming at them. Chen Feng unleashed several Exploding Sword Energy moves and the water yaos before Chen Feng were all blown up. A mist of blood filled the air and the domain that Chen Feng created became dyed with blood.

“Let’s go!”

Chen Feng brought the four of them with him as he rushed out from the ship. He had chosen to escape through the sky.

That place had the least water yaos and not a single Deepsea Spectres. The reason for that was the formidable lightning powers up in the sky. Those were destructive lightning powers formed from worldly powers.

Sou!

Chen Feng killed off several more water yaos before finally leaving the ship, flying 1,000 zhang up into the sky. Popping sounds rang out as countless lightning powers – containing the destructive power of the world – attacked Chen Feng.

“Oh, no!”

Horrified, Sun Ming and his team members shut their eyes.

Chen Feng, however, was not worried. Upon entering his domain, the lightning powers were instantly unravelled to become part of his own power.

Naturally, Chen Feng had a reason to be so confident. Should his domain fail, he could simply channel the lightning powers into his magic treasures.

However, the lightning powers were quite formidable. Cultivators beneath the Earthen Immortal stage would be incapable of handling them. Even Chen Feng’s domain was beginning to shake.

It was no wonder that many high-level cultivators would be willing to pay a high amount of spirit stones to board great ships as they head to the ocean for an adventure. These lightning powers were truly that destructive.

On the other hand, there were endless ocean water and countless powerful water yaos below. It was due to this that Chen Feng would consider the ocean of Domain World to be slightly more dangerous compared to the ocean of Eternal World.

After absorbing some of the lightning powers, Chen Feng felt himself reaching his limits. If he were to continue absorbing the lightning powers, his domain would break apart. Thus, he descended. As he was already away from the colossal ship, he could see that the ocean area there – spanning a radius of several hundred metres – was completely filled with water yaos of varying types. As for the ship, it had been utterly swarmed. It was only a matter of time before the ship was torn apart.

Some other cultivators had also chosen to charge out from the ship in an attempt to escape. Those were all cultivators with formidable powers. The lesser cultivators had either died to the water yaos or killed by the lightning powers up in the sky.

As Chen Feng descended, one attack after another shot towards him. All sorts of attacks flew towards him. However, all of them were water-type secret techniques. Swinging his sword, Chen Feng shattered all the attacks coming at him from below before flying up once more.

Only, the gaping looks on Sun Ming and his companions ended up destroying the picturesque view.

“Let’s go. It’s safe now,” Chen Feng said smilingly.

Streams of spiritual energy spread out from his domain to flow across their wounds.

“All right. Hurry up and heal your wounds. I will leave after dropping you fellows on Glazed Island.”

Hearing Chen Feng’s words, Sun Ming and his companions felt highly grateful. Without wasting any time, they quickly worked on their recovery.

“A Dao artefact containing the power of the eight trigrams. Not bad. Hand it over!” As Chen Feng was leisurely strolling beneath the lightning-filled sky, the surface of the ocean beneath him exploded all of a sudden and a great hand – formed entirely from the power of water – grasped at him.

Light gleamed across the surface of the great hand and runes swirled around it. The dao of water on the great hand was solid. Surprisingly, it was the work of an Earthen Immortal.

As expected, there are some experts on the water yaos’ side deep inside the ocean. If so, the cultivators below have no chances of surviving. Besides, even if they manage to charge out, this ocean is practically endless. The chances of them making their way through the ocean is very small.

“Break!”

Chen Feng unleashed a Slicing Sword Beam. The sword beam cut deep into the great hand, but the power of water within the great hand released a soft power to stop the Slicing Sword Beam. Despite the might of Chen Feng’s attack, it was still somewhat lacking compared to this power containing the softness of water and grand dao powers.

This attack instantly tore a large hole through the great hand. With a casual swing of the sword, Chen Feng then hacked the great hand in half.

Water fell down from the cleaved hand, smashing against the surface of the ocean to trigger a fierce tsunami. However, Chen Feng’s face grew serios. Through his Magic Eyes of Darkness, he had seen a black and gigantic silhouette rushing up from the depths of the ocean.

The aura of a Yao Immortal began spreading out and the surrounding water yaos dispersed. The destructive exchange earlier had already caused the situation to fall into a brief state of silence.

Is an expert coming out? Chen Feng sped up to quickly cover a distance of 500 kilometres. Suddenly, however, the black silhouette within the ocean attacked.

It was a very simplistic attack, but also very overbearing. The surface of the ocean within a radius of 500 kilometres sank before abruptly blasting upwards. Waves of water charged into the sky to connect with the lightning powers high up in the sky. Instantly, a water-type barrier was formed.

Chen Feng was trapped inside the barrier.

How troublesome! Chen Feng shook his head in frustration. His original plan was to just leave and look for the Divine Domain Fountain. However, it would appear that he would have to adjust his plan and delay that somewhat.

My Domain Geocompass is only a low-grade Dao artefact. To think that it would still want to snatch it. Looks like this Earthen Immortal is not worth much. Chen Feng smiled, standing firmly. His domain continued to generate everchanging powers while the Domain Geocompass above him continued absorbing the destructive lightning powers above him.

“Chen Feng, that’s a Yao Immortal down there. I think we should charge out.” Sun Ming suggested. Sensing the aura of a Yao Immortal, Sun Ming’s team of four had turned pale from fright.

“I want to see what kind of yao beast this is. Of course, you fellows are free to leave. I can send you out this barrier.” In the face of the Yao Immortal’s aura, the will to fight grew within Chen Feng’s heart.

The few years that he had been spending on cultivating himself had led to a great improvement in his cultivation base, but he had yet to have an enjoyable fight.

As a cultivator, fighting battles was a necessity.
