Water apes were naturally proficient in water techniques. For it to be able to cultivate up to the Yao Immortal (Earthen) stage would make it the king of its tribe. In the water, the water ape was a true overlord, invincible.

Was it any wonder that Sun Ming’s team of four would grow shocked?

“You four, be quiet.” Chen Feng grew somewhat irritated at the uproar that the four of them were causing. He began regretting not throwing them out earlier.

“A human cultivator at the Human Immortal stage. Hand over the magic treasures on you,” the Water Ape King opened its mouth and a thunderous voice rang out. Even the wyrm beneath its feet roared skywards in response.

“A mere starter-level Yao Immortal dares to snatch my items?” The sword in Chen Feng’s hand flashed with sword light and one sword beam after another shot forward, intertwining each other before growing in size to form an immense storm of sword beams.

This Storm of Sword Beams move by Chen Feng was different from the previous one. This one contained four additional types of power, the power of Heaven, Earth, wind and lightning.

For some secret techniques, their strongest power rested purely in one type of power, contained within each move. Some others, however, would fuse several types of power to unleash a greater force.

In the past, the Storm of Sword Beams that Chen Feng displayed consisted purely of sword energy. This was his first time adding new powers into the mix.

However, after unleashing this attack, Chen Feng felt that the attack was quite good. By adding the power of Heaven, Earth, wind and lightning with the attack, it became more forceful, fast and capable of more variations.

In the face of Chen Feng’s attacks, the water ape swung and a ray of light shot out from its sword. It was also a sword beam. Only, the sword beam from the water ape was more solid and powerful. It instantly broke through the sword beams that Chen Feng had unleashed.

With a thought from Chen Feng, a stream of light shot out from the Domain Geocompass to form eight types of power, which formed a barrier to block the incoming sword beam.

As expected, the sword beam formed from grand dao powers is several times stronger compared to my sword beam, Chen Feng thought.

Before Chen Feng could attack again, the Water Ape King leapt forward, brandishing its sword as it charged towards Chen Feng. Following the Water Ape King’s move, the power of water emerged from the surrounding barrier – formed using ocean waters – to put pressure on Chen Feng.

Everything within the ocean water barrier, spanning a radius of 500 kilometres, was within the Water Ape King’s domain. This was its world and opponents on the same level as the Water Ape King would be suppressed once they entered its domain, let alone someone on a lower level like Chen Feng.

“You have a barrier, I have a domain.”

Chen Feng channelled his power into the Domain Geocompass to push out its full power. Next, the power of the eight trigrams domain spun to form a small world, which encased Chen Feng.

At the same time, Chen Feng also utilized the Domain Geocompass to establish a link with Domain World’s essence power. If he could obtain the blessing from Domain World, Chen Feng would become unbeatable.

Of course, even for the natives of Domain World, most of them would be incapable of doing it, let alone an outsider like Chen Feng. As Chen Feng had been staying in Domain World for three years, he had managed to avoid the rejection powers of the world. However, while it might be able to accept him, there was no way he would be able to receive its assistance.

The Water Ape King slashed and Chen Feng felt as though he would be incapable of evading the attack, as though the sword was the only thing left in the world.

Left with no other choice, Chen Feng chose to take it head on with his own sword. The two swords collided and Chen Feng instantly felt waves of river-like power suppressing him. Due to that, Chen Feng had wanted to evade, but there was a soft and hidden suction force within the opponent’s attack, making it impossible for Chen Feng to back away.

Bang!

The Longevity Sword in Chen Feng’s hand abruptly burst apart into chaotic streams of power, which then flowed into Chen Feng’s body. The Longevity weapons were different from other magic treasures. It didn’t matter if they were destroyed. So long as Chen Feng was still alive, they would be able to easily recover.

That is the grand dao power of water. Unfortunately, even now, I have yet to cultivate my own grand dao. I can only borrow the power of magic treasures to suppress my opponents. If I lose my magic treasures, my combat power will fall to less than 10%. Looks like there is a need for me to cultivate out my own grand dao.

Chen Feng felt his heart stirring. Next, his figure swiftly dashed forward. With the protection afforded by the Domain Geocompass, he evaded the opponent’s attack.

An all-encompassing lightning radiance shot out from the Domain Geocompass. It had linked up with the destructive lightning powers in the sky above and fused with the power there, forming this new stream of power, which shot towards the Water Ape King.

A wave of water spread out from the geocompass on top of the Water Ape King’s head. Upon striking the wave of water, the destructive lightning powers only managed to create some splashes of water and nothing else.

Due to that, the Water Ape King ignored Chen Feng’s attacks.

It was also a Dao artefact containing the grand dao of water. The reason the Water Ape King would take action against Chen Feng was because it wanted Chen Feng’s Domain Geocompass. It wanted to fuse it with its own magic treasure.

The Water Ape King unleashed yet another slash against Chen Feng while the power of water kept assailing the domain that the Domain Geocompass had created.

Roar!

The wyrm that the Water Ape King had been riding on roared and a stream of water charged out from its mouth. This attack also contained grand dao powers.

“Eight Trigrams Domain, creation of myriad beings!” Chen Feng deployed the Domain Geocompass to once again establish a link with the will of the world.

Rumble!

Chen Feng was once again shocked. A near-tangible worldly power poured into the Domain Geocompass, causing it to flare with light. Rays of light shot out from its eight corners and the domain it created grew in size to knock even the Water Ape King away.

What is going on here? Chen Feng was in a state of shock. The Eight Trigram acupoints within his body was continuously in contact with the Domain Geocompass. Thus, he could sense that the Domain Geocompass’ power was steadily rising from a low-grade Dao artefact to a mid-grade Dao artefact. Even after that, its power continued rising.

It's going to level up just like this? Chen Feng was shocked again.

A formidable aura charged up from the Domain Geocompass. It was so powerful that it managed to blow a hole through the sea of lightning in the sky.

Tribulation clouds gathered. Chen Feng had assumed that the Domain Geocompass would be undergoing its tribulation when a formidable force suddenly suppressed the Heavenly Tribulation power, collecting them all before channelling them into the Domain Geocompass.

Just like that, the Heavenly Tribulation was over and the Domain Geocompass had levelled up to become a mid-grade Dao artefact.

The aura of worldly powers enveloped Chen Feng and he felt as though he was dreaming. He was someone who had been cultivating on Eternal World for a long time, absorbing the power of the earth and refining the worldly laws there. And yet, he had never been able to accomplish all that had happened just now.

The Domain Geocompass’ rise to the mid-grade Dao tier was no different from it receiving the blessing of Domain World.

Chen Feng was aware of his own identity. He was not a native of Domain World. He also did not think that he could be so blessed by luck. He figured that there was surely something wrong somewhere. Only, he was incapable of immediately finding out what it was.

With the blessing from Domain World, the Domain Geocompass was able to level up to become a mid-grade Dao artefact and the domain it created became tens of times stronger than before. No matter how powerful the Water Ape King’s attacks were, they were no longer capable of breaking through its defence.

“What happened?”

Sun Ming and his companions forgot all about Chen Feng’s earlier admonishment as they once again gaped at the growing power around them.

The Water Ape King returned to stand on the wyrm’s head. That exchange earlier had left it in a somewhat wretched state. In fact, it left it burning with rage.

“How could this happen?! Why would the will of the world bless him? Those who can receive the world’s favour are one in hundreds of millions!” The Water Ape King felt a foreboding sensation and it no longer attacked recklessly. However, it did consider whether it should try and capture this human cultivator. If it could seize the human cultivator’s luck for itself, it might be able to advance to a higher cultivation level.

Suddenly, another stream of power descended. This time, it came down upon Chen Feng. The Eight Trigram acupoints within Chen Feng’s body began operating at a faster rate and he felt as though he had become a bottomless pit. Rather, there were eight bottomless pits, all devouring the power descending upon Chen Feng without respite.

This is the essence power of Domain World. It contains the power of Heaven, Earth, wind, lightning, mountains, lakes, water and fire. Purity and grades can no longer be used to categorize this power. The benefits I obtained here is way too great. Sigh! There’s a problem here. There is definitely a problem here! Even though Chen Feng’s strength had risen greatly, he did not become happy. Instead, his face took on a somewhat bitter look. He had figured out some clues.

However, that was not the end of it. Another stream of power descended. This power was much stronger compared to the power that had been sent into the Domain Geocompass and Chen Feng’s body. It was so powerful that Chen Feng felt his scalp going numb.

In Chen Feng’s opinion, this power would have no problems destroying him.

Entering Chen Feng’s body, the stream of power then shot towards the Longevity Tower, where it instantly found and entered the Domain Tree.

Due to that, the Domain Tree began growing at a furious rate, one visible to the naked eye. In fact, Chen Feng wondered if time had been accelerated for it.

After the Domain Tree stopped growing, Chen Feng grew so excited that his heart thumped uncontrollably. Originally, his Domain Tree was only 3,330 zhang tall. At that very moment, however, it had grown to a height of 9,990 zhang. By Chen Feng’s estimate, the Divine Domain Fountain would have been necessary for this level of growth.

And yet, this baffling situation had occurred.

Firstly, his Domain Geocompass had levelled up.

Next, the Eight Trigram acupoints within his body were expanded to the point where Chen Feng felt the need to suppress his aura, fearful that his tribulation would come. Chen Feng had a feeling. Should his tribulation come now, he would be able to overcome it without breaking a single sweat.

Lastly, power had been channelled into his Domain Tree, allowing it to grow at a furious rate.
