The spear wielder turned around and his gaze traversed the many layers of space to land upon Chen Feng. For Chen Feng, it felt as though golden light was flashing before his eyes, stinging them somewhat.

“Little fellow, you sure play it close to the chest. To think that you would have a way to collect the Divine Domain Fountain’s water.” The spear wielder sent a secret vocal transmission over.

“No! It’s a Domain Tree! You possess a Domain Tree?!”

The spear wielder’s face instantly transformed and he began attacking Chen Feng despite the distance between them. One of his hand shot out to grab one of the Domain Tree’s roots.

“Come out!”

Although the spear wielder was a high-level Earthen Immortal, a spiritual tree like the Domain Tree was still enough to stir up his greed. It was something that would become a divine tree upon maturity, after all. Not to mention, it was one of the pinnacle divine trees in the whole universe. Even Ascendant Immortals, True Immortals and Heavenly Immortals would be moved by it, let alone an Earthen Immortal.

In the spear wielder’s opinion, the value of the Domain Tree exceeded that of the Divine Domain Fountain before him.

Chen Feng was quick to understand that. He exclaimed inwardly. There was no choice but to take action. If the spear wielder were to successfully pull the Domain Tree out from the Longevity Tower, the situation would escalate.

Sou! Sou!

Facing the attack from the spear wielder, the Domain Tree was quick to counter attack. Branches and roots emerged from the void to attack the spear wielder. Every one of the attacks contained a force capable of easily levelling a mountain.

At present, the Domain Tree had grown to a height of nearly 200,000 zhang. Its attacks could easily kill off even Human Immortals. However, its opponent was an Earthen Immortal. Not to mention, this was a high-level Earthen Immortal. Thus, its attacks were not too effective.

The spear wielder allowed the Domain Tree to attack him, not counter attacking in the slightest. He simply didn’t care about the attacks.

“Get over here!”

The spear wielder’s palm exerted a suction force and Chen Feng instantly felt the Domain Tree shaking. It felt as though it would be pulled out.

“Senior, what is the meaning of this?” Chen Feng asked with a smile. At the same time, he secretly prepared himself to unleash an attack.

“A Domain Tree is not something that a minor character like you can possess. Hand it over and I can spare you,” the spear wielder said coolly.

“Senior, you really think I’m just a minor character?” Chen Feng said, the same smile on his face. Seeing the smile made it impossible to gauge what was on his mind.

“A minor character is just a minor character in the end. Even with an Immortal artefact, a Human Immortal is just a minor character. Only after you have reached the Earthen Immortal stage would you have the qualifications to talk to me. Enough! I do not have that much patience. One breath’s worth of time. If you do not hand over the Domain Tree, I will kill you.” Killing intent glinted across the spear wielder’s eyes.

Time to attack. Chen Feng’s preparations was almost done.

Suddenly, two more cultivators appeared; one from the left and one from the right. One of them wielded a strange-looking XXX while the other one was clad in purple robes. Mountainous figures and auras as bottomless as an abyss, the two of them were roughly as strong as the spear wielder, both at the high-level Earthen Immortal stage [1].

Upon appearing, the two of them instantly grabbed the Domain Tree’s roots.

“I came here looking for the Divine Domain Fountain. Unexpectedly, I would find the Domain Tree. How lucky!”

“Heavenly Premier XXX, Patriarch Skyshock. Why are you two here?”

“Ha ha ha! Black Spearman, if you can come here, why can’t we? If we hadn’t come, this treasure would all go to you.”

“I can forget about the Divine Domain Fountain, but this Domain Tree is mine!”

“Nonsense! The Domain Tee is mine!”

“I just want the Domain Tree!”

All three had set their sights on the Domain Tree. In the presence of the Domain Tree, the Divine Domain Fountain became less significant.

“You three are high-level Earthen Immortals, after all. To be so blatantly snatching the item of a junior, don’t you think you’re going overboard here?” Chen Feng said.

“Enough nonsense. There are pursuers coming. Collect the Domain Tree first. We’ll split it after we leave.”

“Makes sense. If anyone tries to take it for themselves, the other two will join forces to kill the one who tries it.”

“Good! It’s settled then.”

The Domain Tree shook and even more of its roots were pulled out from the Longevity Tower.

Chen Feng had wanted to instantly take action. However, he suddenly laughed.

“Kid, what are you laughing for?” Seeing Chen Feng laughing, the three of them felt puzzled.

“I think you three must have forgotten where you are. Every fountain we’ve seen along the way is guarded by water yaos. This one is the biggest Divine Domain Fountain here. Do the three of you believe that there are no water yaos here?” Chen Feng continued laughing.

It had to be said, the Black Spearman and the other two cultivators were actually in front of the Divine Domain Fountain. There was a great distance between them and Chen Feng. Only, they were utilizing their great powers to attack and talk to Chen Feng through the many layers of space.

With the assistance from the Longevity Tower and Domain Tree, Chen Feng was able to notice the abnormalities displayed by the Divine Domain Fountain. Thus, he quickly calculated the time.

Suddenly, a strange-looking monster charged out from space. Opening its huge mouth to reveal blade-like teeth, it then charged at the trio before fiercely clamping its jaws.

A formidable and turbulent force burst out from its mouth as one sharp energy beam after another shot out from its teeth.

Of course, the reason it was considered a monster was because Chen Feng and the trio were incapable of identifying it.

The monster’s attack was incredibly strong. In the face of the monster’s charge, the trio felt as though the world was spinning as space itself fell into a state of chaos.

Despite the simplicity of its attack, it contained several grand dao powers.

“Attack!

“Attack!”

“Kill!”

The trio attacked. Even so, not a single one of them chose to release their grip on the roots of the Domain Tree. Seeing that amused Chen Feng.

These three fellows have no regards for their own lives. Can they not see just how powerful the monster is? And yet, they are still coveting my Domain Tree.

Still, this is also a good opportunity for me to attack.

Heavenly Premier XXX and Patriarch Skyshock were horrified. By then, the two of them were already wounded as well. A monster before them and the attacks from Immortal artefacts behind them. Due to the situation they were in, they began sweating dreadfully. They regretted attempting to snatch Chen Feng’s Domain Tree.

The roots of the Domain Tree kept emerging, forming a circle to surround the remaining two cultivators. Chen Feng was cooperating with the monster. As the two of them shared the same goal of killing off Heavenly Premier XXX and Patriarch Skyshock, there was no reason for them to fight one another.

The Domain Tree can only serve as a deterring force. It is far from capable of killing off the two high-level Earthen Immortals. However, letting the monster devour them just like that seems like a pity.

After reaching that line of thought, Chen Feng then sent the Blood Mustering Bead out. It moved through the spatial passageway created by the Domain Tree.

Kacha!

One of Heavenly Premier XXX’s legs was severed, but he furiously smashed the monster’s head with his XXX to knock it away.

“Let’s go!”

Patriarch Skyshock’s whole body flared with purple light to hack apart the surrounding branches and roots.

“Capture the kid!”

The two of them ran away from the monster, breaking through space as they rushed towards Chen Feng.

“You guys have a death wish.”

With a smirk, Chen Feng waved his hand and the Heaven Piercing Lance blocked Patriarch Skyshock while the Netherbone Lance transformed into a stream of light, which then pierced through Heavenly Premier XXX’s body.

“Devour!”

The Blood Mustering Bead emerged, quickly transforming into a blood-red vortex as it furiously devoured Heavenly Premier XXX’s blood essence.

“Die!”

Heavenly Premier XXX gnashed his teeth and the XXX in his hand slide through space to smash down on Chen Feng.

It was a high-grade Dao artefact, containing the grand dao of metal and earth. It was an attack that Chen Feng would be incapable of taking on his own.

However, Chen Feng possessed the Longevity Tower. Although Tower was in a state of slumber, the Longevity Tower had already recovered to the Immortal tier. Collecting and suppressing a Dao artefact was well within its abilities.

And so, the XXX was brought into the Longevity Tower. Instantly, it lost its link to the outside world and stayed silently inside.

“My XXX!” Heavenly Premier XXX was astounded. The situation had spiralled beyond his expectations.
