《Everlasting》Chapter 890 Fight

“Are things not going according to plan?” Sword Immortal Great Heaven said with a derisive grin.
Woah!
Sword Immortal Great Wind waved his hand and the Human Immortals behind him charged forward. For over 100 Human Immortals and countless Sky Human stage cultivators, killing off two Earthen Immortals and 20 Human Immortals was simply too much of a bullying act.
The result was as expected. Sword Immortal Great Heaven and Sword Immortal Great Wind attacked to kill off the two Earthen Immortals from Nine Firmaments Palace while the 20 Human Immortals from Nine Firmaments Palace were swarmed. They failed to create any notable display of resistance.
“Heh! The strength of the Northern Plains’ cultivators is too weak! I can kill two or even three others who are at the same level as me,” a cultivator from Heavenly Sword Faction said disdainfully.
“If their Human Immortals are only of this calibre, I can easily beat ten of them alone,” said a student from Absolute Academy.
Hearing that, the disciples of Heavenly Sword Faction fell silent. Although they were both strong and arrogant, there was still no way they could compare with the students of Absolute Academy. The only exception would be the pinnacle geniuses from their sect.
In most cases, the pinnacle geniuses from the various sects would join Absolute Academy.
“Seniors, are we to wait for Chen Feng here? The way I see it, the other party is likely harbouring bad intentions,” one of the students from Absolute Academy came forward and said.
“So what if they are harbouring bad intentions? The ones they left behind have all died. Before leaving with them, Chen Feng had already made the necessary arrangements. We are to immediately change our destination. We will be joining up with the other three groups before heading directly to First Origin City,” Sword Immortal Great Heaven said.
“First Origin City. That place is the closest to the Extreme Celestial Mountains. The situation there is likely not looking good.”
“Chen Feng’s master and his friends are there. This is the information we recently received. Everyone, do not be careless. This is not our Central Plains, after all. Nine Firmaments Palace and the other two palaces are first-rate forces. If they are to suddenly dispatch forth several Earthen Immortals, even though we will be able to stop them, we will surely suffer from some casualties. We are only here to help Chen Feng. There is no need to recklessly get into a situation where we suffer from casualties. We should do our best to avoid a battle to the death,” Sword Immortal Great Heaven said.
“Senior, is this your opinion?” the student from Absolute Academy asked again.
“This is actually Chen Feng’s opinion.”
“In that case, let’s move out. However, what if someone tries to intercept us again?”
“Just kill them all!”
Chen Feng was confident about his men’s situation. However, he himself was presently facing a siege.
At that very moment, Chen Feng was feeling slightly regretful. He regretted not attacking earlier. Patriarch Yan Mo and the others were right. They had known beforehand that Chen Feng possessed Immortal artefacts. And yet, they had still chosen to set up an ambush against him. This meant that they were confident that their ambush was capable of dealing with him.
Chen Feng had already kept the Deepsea Maelstrom back. Earlier, by utilizing the Deepsea Maelstrom, he had destroyed all the mountains and rivers within a radius of 50,000 kilometres.

However, Chen Feng had to summon back the Deepsea Maelstrom. Nine Firmaments Palace had brought out two Immortal artefacts against him.
Due to the immense power from the two Immortal artefacts, Chen Feng had no choice but to bring out the Heaven Piercing Lance.
Chen Feng was presently inside an Immortal artefact belonging to Nine Firmaments Palace. Only, this Immortal artefact was somewhat similar to the Immortal Skylodge Palace in Chen Feng’s possession. It was not a weapon-type Immortal artefact. Instead, it was an Immortal-tier palace.
The immortal palace also possessed formidable offensive powers. Thus, they believed it should have no problems trapping Chen Feng.
The other Immortal artefact that Nine Firmaments Palace brought forward was a killing sword. The aura it emanated alone was enough to nearly throw Chen Feng into a state of carnage.
In order to deal with me, Nine Firmaments Palace sure is putting a lot on the table. If the other first-rate sects from the Northern Plains choose to initiate an all-out attack against Nine Firmaments Palace at this point in time, they will definitely succeed. A pity, none of them dares to do so. Besides, there are also Purple Firmaments Palace and Transcendent Firmaments Palace. Sigh! These three sects are simply too powerful. If they join forces, they can truly become the apex force of the world of cultivation. However, I feel like there is a meaning behind the words they said earlier.
Chen Feng was feeling puzzled about the attitude shown by the four Earthen Immortals earlier. Conquering the entire Northern Plains? The entire world of cultivation? In the beginning, Chen Feng had simply viewed those words as the ramblings of lunatics. However, after considering it for a moment, he felt that was not the case. Those four fellows were Earthen Immortals who had been cultivating for countless years now. The fact that they could reach their present level meant that they were geniuses. Unless they were suffering from cultivation deviation, characters like them would never spout nonsense. If so, there must be a reason for them to be saying those words.
In the end, Chen Feng surmised that Nine Firmaments Palace must have obtained something which allowed its power to rise greatly. Only under such circumstances would it suddenly think about conquering the entire world of cultivation.
How much power was needed to conquer the entire world of cultivation? At the very least, they would need the aegis of over 10 Ascendant Immortals. Without tens of Immortal artefacts, they would have a hard time attacking the Central Plains.
Did Nine Firmaments Palace actually find themselves a great treasure? Chen Feng wondered.
Weng!
An astral sword pierced through space to collide against the lance in Chen Feng’s hand. The lance vibrated rapidly, creating 10,000 vibrations in a flash to unravel the power of the attack.
The power behind the attack was so strong that Chen Feng had to give it his all to attempt to unravel the attacks. In order to do even better, Chen Feng’s mastery of the power of laws would first need to be above that of Ascendant Immortals.
“Chen Feng, you still have time to be thinking about other matters? Did you think that you could escape?” A thunderous voice rang out. It was the voice of another cultivator and not Patriarch Yan Mo or the other three Earthen Immortals.
Just by listening to the voice, Chen Feng could determine that this person’s cultivation base was above the mid-level Earthen Immortal stage.

Although they have mobilized two Immortal artefacts against me, there are only a few experts. I think there is only one high-level Earthen Immortal. The experts must be having scruples about taking action against a minor Human Immortal like me.
The earlier collision had thrown Chen Feng’s figure down, slamming him into the ground and causing the ground to crack open. Two earthen-yellow energy waves then swept towards Chen Feng. This was an attack from the immortal palace.
“Break!”
The lance in Chen Feng’s hand stabbed forward to destroy the energy waves. However, another astral sword arrived before him to send him flying. Even with the protection of the semi-transparent silhouette of the Longevity Tower, it was still painful. Chen Feng felt as though his head would burst from the attack.
Letting things continue like this is not the right way to go about it. It is also not the right time for the Ancient Flame Beetle to take action. I’ll have to wait a little longer. Only after they have displayed everything they have will I utilize the Longevity Tower to get them all in one go.
Speaking of which, this Immortal-tier killing sword from Nine Firmaments Palace is really good. Its power and grade are very high. Amongst those on the same grade, it can already be considered as a high-quality item. I want to snatch it over. However, without Tower’s assistance, I have no way of suppressing it.
Chen Feng had his own plans.
Chen Feng was not afraid that this situation could endanger him. If it came down to it, he could simply hide inside either the Immortal Skylodge Palace or the Longevity Tower. However, doing so would put him in a passive position. He had come to the Northern Plains to help Extreme Celestial Sect, after all. He did not have so much time to be playing around with them.
“Is no one going to come out and fight me? A whole bunch of you are going to just hide in the dark and bully a junior? Ha ha ha! If news of this were to spread, your Nine Firmaments Palace will lose face! And you’re thinking of conquering the world of cultivation? What a joke!” Chen Feng said loudly as the Longevity Wings flapped, allowing Chen Feng to swiftly evade the attacks coming at him from his surroundings.
However, no one responded. Instead, the attacks shooting towards Chen Feng grew even more ferocious.
“Why aren’t you guys speaking up anymore? Did I get it right? Are you feeling embarrassed now? Do you want nothing more than to silence me right now?
“And you dare claim that your Nine Firmaments Palace is some orthodox sect? Ptui! You dare make claims about uniting the entire Northern Plains and taking over the world of cultivation? To think that you would have the gall to speak of such things! You have no shame!
“If you have what it takes, come fight me in a one-on-one battle! As a Human Immortal, I challenge you Earthen Immortals to a fight!
“Oh, I forgot. You fellows have been cultivating for tens of thousands of years. Your skin have long since grown thick and your hearts black!”
However, no matter how much Chen Feng provoked them, the cultivators from Nine Firmaments Palace chose not to reply. The only response from them were silence and even stronger attacks.
Thus, Chen Feng stopped talking and instead, focused on dealing with their attacks. Truth be told, Chen Feng was not too worried that Nine Firmaments Palace was delaying him. The fact that Chen Feng alone was able to occupy the attention of so many people meant that he was relieving a great deal of the pressure bearing down on Extreme Celestial Sect. Unquestionably, this move from Nine Firmaments Palace was aimed at snatching away the Immortal artefacts in Chen Feng’s possession. However, they also needed to quickly deal with him.
I wonder when Tower will wake up?
I cannot wait anymore. I should attack now. If it fails, I will just have to rush out. Continuing with this battle of attrition is not the way to go, after all. Both sides will only end up becoming anxious.
At that very moment, Chen Feng cut quite the miserable sight. Even so, he quickly mobilized the Immortal Skylodge Palace, pitting two Immortal artefacts against two Immortal artefacts. Of course, Chen Feng was no match for the cultivators from Nine Firmaments Palace, not unless he advanced to the Earthen Immortal stage.
However, it would be a wholly different matter if Chen Feng were to mobilize out three or four Immortal artefacts at once. So long as Chen Feng was able to mobilize them all, defeating his opponents would not be an issue.
Given Chen Feng’s present level of strength, mobilizing even the full power of one Immortal artefact was beyond his capabilities, let alone a few Immortal artefacts.
Doing so required some secret techniques. Only, this action consumed a great deal of energy. Additionally, Chen Feng would end up facing a formidable backlash. Any mistake on his part would cause his fleshly body to fall apart and even his vitality would be over exhausted in advance.
However, Chen Feng did not care about all that. He cultivated the Longevity Scripture. Over exhaustion of vitality was the one thing he was not afraid of. Rather, if he could just snatch one of the opponents’ Immortal artefacts, everything would be worth it.
That being said, Chen Feng was incapable of predicting whether or not he could succeed. The battle had reached an ever-changing state. Any extra factors would be able to change the result of the battle.
When compared to a weapon-type magic treasure like the Heaven Piercing Lance, the Immortal Skylodge Palace was somewhat harder to mobilize. However, this was a problem that could be fixed by supplying a high enough amount of energy.
And so, Chen Feng expended a high number of Immortal crystals to mobilize the Immortal Skylodge Palace. Seeing how quickly the Immortal crystals were consumed, Chen Feng felt his heart aching.
Sigh! These guys caused me to waste so many of my Immortal crystals. I will have you fellows pay me back for this! Chen Feng gnashed his teeth. Since the battle began, Chen Feng had taken grievous injuries.
Another astral sword descended upon Chen Feng’s figure. The semi-transparent silhouette of the Longevity Tower encasing Chen Feng shook to knock the astral sword away. After that, Chen Feng did not go after the astral sword. The power of the enemy’s immortal palace had restrained him, causing his power and speed to fall sharply. Even with the Heaven Piercing Lance in hand, he found it almost impossible to block the incoming attacks. Given the circumstances, if Chen Feng were to hold back any longer, he would have a seriously tough time fighting back.

RE: Souls War Apocalyse
When I and every other humans on earth have been summoned to the cursed world of Yvelmore, to serve as a front-line soldier in an impossible war against an invasion of nightmarish creatures, I knew right away that something was going to go wrong. I was right. The war? Hell, we lost it so much all the nations of the world have been destroyed and all the races have disappeared. Me? I was a veteran who survived until the end. Was I strong? Fuck yeah of course I was, except ... it was useless, I died like everybody else. The bad news? When I thought it was finally over, I woke up in the past, the moment I was summoned to the beginning of the war. Come on, seriously? Do I really have to go through all that again? What? And everything restarts every time I die? No... are you fucking kidding me? Right? Genre: Action, Adventure, Medieval Apocalypse, Times Loops, Progression, War & Fantasy, Grimdark, Magic, Horror, LitRPG (but RP). Tone: Despair at the firsts chapters (which makes sense for a story that begins with the end of the world, doesn't it?), and lots of humor and stupid situations after to lighten the tone of the story. (Oh, and the MC is NOT a psychopath, a rapist, a hypocrite, or human garbage, so sorry for those who like that, because I don't like that). Note: Expect this story to contain grammatical errors and occasional random conjugations. I am learning English, and I have made a lot of progress, but I still have some gaps. So if you're allergic to it, don't read this story, you would inevitably be disappointed.

Twilight over Arcania
SynopsisA child dies in an alley, but it's not the end.A mysterious entity known as Voice saves the child. The child is reborn in a world named Arcania. A world where magic exists. With a second chance at life, what will the child do in this strange new world?Rebirth Arc (17 chapters - Complete)Liara is reborn in the world of Arcania as a baby. She must grow, and learn of this strange new world.Twilight Arc (Ongoing)Liara makes a place of herself in the world and learns of Arcania and what will happen if she does not intervene.Author's NoteWhat you can expect from this storyThis novel is my take on the resurrection theme. I wanted to write a resurrection story with every element I liked about the theme, but without the elements I disliked. This is the story of Liara. MC's second go at life in a world where magic is real.Arcania is not a nice place. It is my answer to the question "How would civilizations develop if powerful magic was real and widespread enough." I try hard to make a large consistent story in a large consistent world. There will be lots of characters and organizations built to various levels of depth. The story starts small and grows in size and scope.I try to avoid plot armor as much as I can. You can expect at least MC to make it alive quite far in the story. It's the MC's story after all.I spent time building the world before beginning with the writing itself. How continents are shaped, the evolutionary history of the species, the history of the world, the structure of the solar system, the rules of magic, etc... I have planned the whole overarching plot. I have a clear ending in mind. There will be lots of battles and action. From large scale magic battles between immensely powerful beings to small skirmishes. Expect fights to be bloody. In Arcania, magic is just another set of law of physics. It's a natural phenomenon with clear rules to it. Gods exists, they are absolute being that see humanity like a human would see an ant. They are not just really powerful individuals. They act rarely, and indirectly. What this story will not beThere will be no harem element and little to no romance or sex in this story. There will be some comedy and comic relief, but Arcania in general is not a nice place.Fights will be bloody, but I won't write gory descriptions.
