After Heavenly Premier Ninelink’s group of three appeared, they said nothing. Instead, they simply nodded at cultivators whom they were acquainted with before moving to the side, where they stood quietly.

They didn’t even spare Chen Feng a glance.

Chen Feng chuckled. Next up, more Ascendant Immortals kept appearing until there was a total of 99 of them. Finally, no one else came.

“Let’s stop here. We have enough here,” one of the Ascendant Immortals, with the appearance of an old man, spoke up.

In truth, any cultivator that had reached a certain level would be able to retain a youthful look. There were few who would maintain the looks of an elderly person. Those who do were either those who simply didn’t care about their appearances or had some other reasons for doing so.

“There are only 100 years left before the Planar War begins. During this 100 years, there mustn’t be any large-scale wars.”

“Heavenly Premier Ninelink, the forces from your Nine Firmaments Palace should withdraw.”

“That’s impossible,” Heavenly Premier Ninelink said.

“That is not a decision I came up with. It is a unanimous decision from all of us,” the old man continued.

“This matter is between us and Extreme Celestial Sect. Aren’t you fellows interfering too much?” Heavenly Premier Ninelink replied coolly.

“Looks like you will refuse,” Heavenly Premier Absolute said smilingly.

“Good. Very good. If that’s the case, let’s settle it, shall we?”

“Settle what?”

“Settle the matter of you fellows from Nine Firmaments Palace colluding with cultivators from the Immortal Plane to harm our Eternal World.” Heavenly Premier Absolute sneered.

“Do you think anyone would believe you?” Heavenly Premier Ninelink responded nonchalantly.

“We believe him,” Heavenly Premier Eternal said.

“I personally bore witness to it. I even killed two of them,” Bi Qing said with a smile.

It seemed that Heavenly Premier Absolute’s side had five Ascendant Immortals. The combined might of five Ascendant Immortals was a very formidable force.

“I suggest that we join forces to remove the Three Palaces: Nine Firmaments Palace, Purple Firmaments Palace and Transcendent Firmaments Palace. That is for the sake of avoiding any unnecessary issues during the Planar War.” Heavenly Premier Four Cardinals nodded.

“Ha ha ha ha! Sorry, I am late!” Suddenly, another Ascendant Immortal arrived. A sword light cut open space and a cultivator who radiated an overbearing atmosphere emerged.

“So, it’s Patriarch Heavenly Sword!”

This newcomer was indeed none other than the Ascendant Immortal from Heavenly Sword Faction.

“I heard what Four Cardinals said earlier. I fully agree with it. I did hear about how insufferable Nine Firmaments Palace has been. Destroying it is a good thing,” Patriarch Heavenly Sword said with a casual tone.

“What do you guys think? If there are no objections, I will take action right now. I have been exploring outer space all this time. I have not fought a fellow native cultivator for a long time now. Thinking about it, my hands are feeling itchy here.” Patriarch Heavenly Sword then snickered.

“I have no objections.”

“I have no objections as well.”

Finally, the other Ascendant Immortals spoke up. Naturally, they were all Ascendant Immortals with a relatively good relationship with either Heavenly Premier Absolute or Patriarch Heavenly Sword.

“Humph!”

Heavenly Premier Ninelink’s group of three simply scoffed.

“Patriarch Heavenly Sword, are you fellows deliberately trying to stir up trouble here?” Finally, someone else confronted them.

“Patriarch Scarlet Peak, I am indeed here to stir up trouble. There is no need for you to say anything!” After saying that, Patriarch Heavenly Sword instantly attacked.

One sword beam after another flew forward in an overbearing manner towards Patriarch Scarlet Peak.

On Patriarch Scarlet Peak’s side, he never expected Patriarch Heavenly Sword to attack him just like that. Due to that one moment of carelessness, the sword beams struck him. He became slightly wounded and his appearance became somewhat wretched to behold.

“Patriarch Heavenly Sword, do you have a death wish?!”

“If that’s the case, I will just kill you first!” After attacking, Patriarch Heavenly Sword did not stop. Instead, he followed it up with a series of attacks.

Beams of sword light erupted, transforming into a calamity for Nine Firmaments Palace’s headquarters below them. Mountains and buildings were all destroyed as a result.

“Friend, you are going too far.” Heavenly Premier Ninelink’s eyelids twitched, but he forcibly held himself back.

“Too far? I’ll show you too far!” Patriarch Heavenly Sword sent Patriarch Scarlet Peak flying with a sword swing before swinging his sword again. As a result, the lands split apart. A fissure, with ends that seemingly reached the horizon and a bottomless depth, appeared. Earthen energy surged out from the fissure.

“Outrageous! I cannot endure any longer!” Heavenly Premier Ninelink finally lost it. He jumped forward to attack Patriarch Heavenly Sword.

“Bring it!” Patriarch Heavenly Sword seemingly grew even more delighted. He waved his hand to create a stretch of swords.

“Humph!”

Patriarch Scarlet Peak returned and he rushed forward to entangle Patriarch Heavenly Sword.

Sou! Sou!

Heavenly Premier Purple Glory and Heavenly Premier Transcendent Wind were unable to hold back and they joined the fight as well. The three of them, Heavenly Premier Ninelink included, cultivated the Heavenly Immortal Technique. By joining forces, their offensive power was doubled and they forced Patriarch Heavenly Sword to give ground, again and again.

“Brother Heavenly Sword, I’ll come help you!” More Ascendant Immortals joined the fight.

“Very well, Patriarch Heavenly Sword. You sure like to spice things up.”

Two Ascendant Immortals joined the fight. The two of them were Heavenly Premier Aquafire and Heavenly Premier Redshine. It would appear that they were Patriarch Heavenly Sword’s acquaintances and they immediately joined forces to attack Patriarch Scarlet Peak.

“Patriarch Heavenly Sword sure knows quite a number of people.” Chen Feng chuckled.

“That’s not exactly the case. Those fellows are just battle maniacs. Generally speaking, everyone would try to avoid them. However, they are all from the Central Plains. There are times when they would help one another.” Heavenly Premier Absolute chuckled as well.

“Fellow seniors, are you not taking action?” Chen Feng asked.

“It is still not at the point where we need to take action. Our actions signify the actions of the entire Central Plains. It will be difficult to settle the issue once that happens,” Heavenly Premier Absolute said, a somewhat prideful look on his face.

“Sigh! I’m just afraid that Extreme Celestial Sect will not be able to hold on for much longer.” Chen Feng sighed.

“That is a problem.”

“How about this? The four of us will head out to pacify the situation first. We’ll talk again later.” Heavenly Premier Eternal finally spoke up. Next, the four of them exchanged glances before flying forward at the same time.

“Are you fellows not going to stop it? We are here to discuss things out, not to start fighting.”

Some of the Ascendant Immortals chose to watch the ongoing fight with indifference while some tried dissuading them. Some even revealed eagerness to participate in the fight. These fellows were all Ascendant Immortals. Although they had restrained themselves, the energy fluctuations they emanated were strong enough to lay waste to Nine Firmaments Palace’s headquarters.

“Hegemon Sword, Heavenscry, Blue Heaven, what are you fellows staring at? What? You want me to beg you guys for help now?” Patriarch Heavenly Sword shouted.

“Gya ha ha ha! Heavenly Sword, I thought you can deal with them on your own.”

“Of course I can! It’ll just take time!” Patriarch Heavenly Sword retorted with a displeased tone.

“Here I come!” Patriarch Hegemon Sword had long since wanted to jump in. Thus, hearing Patriarch Heavenly Sword speak up, he instantly charged forward.

“Everyone, stop! Our Nine Firmaments Palace agree to a withdrawal of our forces,” Heavenly Premier Ninelink said through gnashed teeth.

“Too late! There is no need for you fellows to withdraw your forces. Absolute and the others are already on it.”

“You fellows must have gone crazy!”

“Alright, alright. Heavenly Sword, just stop.”

“Do you guys think that our Northern Plains is an easy target?” More Ascendant Immortals joined the fight.

“That’s right, we’re bullying your Northern Plains! What about it? If you cannot accept it, just step forward!” Patriarch Heavenly Sword shouted back.

They fought, refusing to talk it out. Suddenly, a booming sound rang out from space and a spatial passageway appeared.

This spatial passageway was different from the usual spatial passageway. It seemed somewhat unstable and the aura coming out from it caused all the Ascendant Immortals there to feel uncomfortable.

The aura of the Immortal Plane! Chen Feng and Bi Qing exchanged glances, a look of shock in their eyes.

A mote of lightning flew through the spatial passageway before abruptly exploding. Lightning radiance flashed out and it transformed into a mighty-looking cultivator.

“A mid-level Ascendant Immortal!” The Ascendant Immortals there grew shocked. An Ascendant Immortal on that level was practically non-existent in Eternal World.

“Yet another person from the Lightning Plane. They are truly persistent.” Bi Qing shook his head and sighed.

“So, it’s someone from the Immortal Plane. I wonder, why are you interfering with our Eternal World’s matter?” Patriarch Heavenly Sword stopped attacking and moved forward to ask loudly.

“Insolence! I am here as a representative of the Immortal Plane, here to deal with this dispute. You fellows can stop now,” the mighty cultivator said.

“Stop? That’s simple. Everyone here can do that. However, Nine Firmaments Palace has been attacking Extreme Celestial Sect for quite some time now, but your Immortal Plane did nothing about it at all. And now that something like this has happened, you suddenly decide to run over? This smells fishy,” Chen Feng suddenly said.

“Who are you? You dare speak to me? Hurry up and back off!” The mighty cultivator turned to look at Chen Feng and a wave of soul power rushed out to assail Chen Feng.

Bi Qing had wanted to take action, but when he saw how calm Chen Feng was, he shook his head and held back with a smile on his face.

Weng!

Before the mighty cultivator’s soul power could even get close to Chen Feng, it was shattered apart by the Longevity Tower’s power.

“A mid-level Ascendant Immortal is attacking a minor Human Immortal? Is this the kind of people the Immortal Plane has? However, you are just a clone. Aren’t you just courting death here?” Chen Feng said with a derisive smile.

“Well said, kid! Now I’ll ask you! Why didn’t the Immortal Plane send someone down back then? Why are they only sending someone down now?” Patriarch Heavenly Sword cast a satisfied look at Chen Feng before moving forward to face the mighty cultivator.

“That’s right! You even dare to randomly attack someone here just now. Who do you think you are? Do you even know where you are right now?” Another Ascendant Immortal, Patriarch Heavenswind, stepped forward.

“It’s just a clone. What is there to be so arrogant about?” The others began stepping forward as well to surround the mighty cultivator.

“Kid, who are you?” The mighty cultivator stared at Chen Feng, ignoring the others.

“A minor cultivator from Eternal World,” Chen Feng replied.

“Come!” The mighty cultivator suddenly grasped at Chen Feng. It was a simple-looking gesture, but it contained grand dao powers so profound that Chen Feng was simply incapable of evading.

However, Chen Feng did not panic in the slightest. Neither did he take action to resist. Someone else had already taken action. Rather, the number of people who chose to take action shocked even Chen Feng.

“Hey, we’re asking you a question here! What’s up with this attitude of yours?”

“Now that you have come to our Eternal World, you still dare to nit-pick at us? You have a death wish!”

“Bullying a junior? You have no shame! Since you are just a clone, don’t blame us for what’s coming next!”

A total of five Ascendant Immortals, Patriarch Heavenly Sword included, attacked this mighty cultivator from the Immortal Plane at the same moment.

The mighty cultivator’s eyes burst with lightning and he promptly retracted the palm that was grasping at Chen Feng. He waved his palm around instead and lightning radiance shone with a dazzling brilliance. Surprisingly, he managed to stop all the attacks aimed at him.
