“Good! Worthy of your mid-level Ascendant Immortal stage cultivation, you have some skills. However, can you stop us all?” Patriarch Heavenly Sword laughed and attacked again.

At the same time, the other Ascendant Immortals who had been simply watching by the side began taking action as well. The end result was obvious. Heavenly Premier Ninelink glanced at Chen Feng, but said nothing.

“Oh, right! Nine Firmaments Palace wants to conquer the entire Eternal World. It is only natural that you wouldn’t care about minor characters like us,” Chen Feng continued.

“Shut up!” Heavenly Premier Ninelink’s face finally contorted.

“Conquer the whole Eternal World? Is that a joke? Nine Firmaments Palace wants to do that?” Some of the Ascendant Immortals there scoffed.

“Fellow seniors, you may check it out for yourself. You’ll understand once you do,” Chen Feng said.

With the exception of Chen Feng, every one of them was an Ascendant Immortal. Even though they were at Nine Firmaments Palace’s headquarters, they did not deliberately take action to investigate the situation within the headquarters. However, after hearing Chen Feng’s words, several of them sent out their divine senses to scan the place.

It did not take long before all of them found some of the secrets hidden within Nine Firmaments Palace’s headquarters.

“Tsk, tsk! To think that Nine Firmaments Palace would have this kind of card up its sleeve. Looks like you really want to try it, huh?”

“Heavenly Premier Ninelink, what do you have to say for yourself?”

“Heh! This is just a way to cultivate. Is this supposed to mean anything?” Heavenly Premier Ninelink’s face turned calm once more.

“I have not been around for quite some time now. Unexpectedly, Nine Firmaments Palace would develop to such heights. Looks like the minor sect that I founded back then will not be able to last for much longer.”

“That’s easy to fix. Join me. We’ll divide Nine Firmaments Palace between us.”

“Alright, alright, stop it, you guys. The reason we are here is to talk about the Planar War.”

“It’s chaos here. How can we discuss anything? I don’t think we’ll be able to come to any conclusion.”

“It’s all Nine Firmaments Palace’s fault.”

“The way I see it, it’s the fault of this kid. Nine Firmaments Palace attacking Extreme Celestial Sect is a normal thing. And yet, this kid raised an army from the Central Plains to join the war.”

“Senior, how should I address you?” Hearing that, Chen Feng could not stop himself from asking.

“Patriarch Iron Stream. What is it, kid?”

“I think you are talking out of your ass just now!” Chen Feng shouted.

“What did you say?!” Patriarch Iron Stream grew furious. He was an exalted Ascendant Immortal. If he had to take the insult from a minor Human Immortal lying down, he would have no face to continue raising his head in the future.

“I am a disciple of Extreme Celestial Sect. Right now, my sect is in trouble. Taking action to help my sect is only reasonable. You, on the other hand. Do you have a pea for a brain?” Chen Feng responded with a derisive smile.

“The audacity! Everyone, do you see? This kid is the one provoking me! If I don’t teach him a lesson, how will the juniors view us in the future?” Patriarch Iron Stream said, taking a step forward to send a formidable, grey-coloured stream of energy towards Chen Feng.

It was not an actual attack. Rather, it was something formed from the aura that Patriarch Iron Stream was exuding. Even so, this level of attack should be enough against a cultivator at Chen Feng’s level. After all, even the gaze of an Ascendant Immortal would have been enough to kill off a Human Immortal.

Seeing that, Patriarch Heavenly Sword had wanted to stop the attack. However, he then saw Bi Qing, who was standing beside Chen Feng. Due to that, he decided against interfering.

As for the others, they simply watched from the side lines. Some were in fact, feeling displeased with Chen Feng. In short, Chen Feng’s cultivation level was simply not high enough. Every one of them was an Ascendant Immortal. What was a minor Human Immortal doing here?

Or perhaps, it would be more accurate to say that he had been transformed into a sculpture, incapable of moving at all. Rather, there were no signs of life coming from him at all.

Chen Feng swung with the Netherbone Lance, striking Patriarch Iron Stream heavily with it. Although the attack did not kill him, it had still left him badly wounded. The Longevity Tower returned to Chen Feng’s hand. Rotating once, it then disappeared into his body. Waving the Netherbone Lance in his hand, Chen Feng then smiled.

“What is it? If you’re still unconvinced, feel free to come at me again. However, I cannot promise you that I will hold back this time.”

Despite having received a beating and shocked to see Chen Feng in possession of two good Immortal artifacts, Patriarch Iron Stream desperately wanted to regain his reputation. There was only one way to do that, and that was to kill Chen Feng.

This time, however, no fight erupted. Bi Qing stepped forward and said coldly, “Enough.”

Patriarch Heavenly Sword came forward as well. Smiling, he said, “If you try anything again, do not blame me for taking action.”

“Patriarch Heavenly Sword, what does this have to do with you?” Patriarch Iron Stream grew displeased.

“Right, I forgot to tell you fellows. This kid is an elder of my Heavenly Sword Faction. If something happens, it is only natural for me to help him,” Patriarch Heavenly Sword said with a serious look on his face.

With Bi Qing and Patriarch Heavenly Sword stepping forward, Patriarch Iron Stream dared not take action anymore. He was already no match for Patriarch Heavenly Sword. And yet, there was also Bi Qing, who appeared to possess an unfathomable level of might.

The four Heavenly Premiers Absolute, Eternal, Heavensight and Four Cardinals returned. After returning, Heavenly Premier Absolute waved his hand to bring out a cosmos pouch. Next, the cosmos pouch opened up and a high number of cultivators fell out.

Since the conclusion had been determined, Heavenly Premier Ninelink simply accepted it all, saying nothing in the process. At any rate, all the cultivators from his sect that were sent out to attack Extreme Celestial Sect had been brought back. Saying anything else about it was pointless.
