The Planar Battlefield. There was no way to tell just how long it had existed. Likewise, there was also no way to tell just how many creatures were born from the bloody and malevolent environment created by the battlefield. The start of the Planar War caused the power of blood to sweep through the entire battlefield, turning it into the best time for the creatures born there to come out and kill.
Due to that, the cultivators participating in the Planar War faced not only cultivators from other worlds but also some unpredictably ghastly creatures.
What was happening to the cultivators from Heavenly Sword Faction was one such example. They were all pure sword cultivators, with astonishingly formidable combat powers. Even when facing those twice as strong as them, they would not cower. And yet, at that very moment, they had to ask for assistance.
The reason for that was the blood fiends and vengeful spirits. They brought about a heavy blow to the cultivators from Heavenly Sword Faction.
With a glance, Chen Feng could see that the number of blood fiends was not particularly high. However, their levels were. Over a hundred of them were at a level where they could fight Human Immortals. Most importantly, there were some vengeful spirits lurking around, initiating sneak attacks every now and again.
This force from Heavenly Sword Faction had managed to kill off a high number of the blood fiends. However, due to the casualties they suffered in the process, they were beginning to lose ground. Even though they could kill off hundreds of the blood fiends, they could not bring back the killed disciples.
“Attack!” After giving the order, Chen Feng took the lead in charging forward. This time, he did not utilize his Immortal artifacts. Instead, he brought out a magic treasure that he had not used in a long time, the Demon Sealing Sword.
The Demon Sealing Sword possessed the power of sealing, astral lightning, dimension and also the power to subdue demons. It was the counter to these bloody and malevolent creatures. The Demon Sealing Sword had been forged by a Human Immortal. However, its quality was quite good. Since following Chen Feng, it had been spending all this time undergoing a tempering and refining process, allowing it to advance to the Dao tier. Only, it had yet to fully form its grand dao, otherwise its grade would advance yet again. For such a high-quality magic treasure, levelling up was quite difficult.
In addition, the Blood Mustering Bead was also hovering above Chen Feng. It did not attack. Instead, it ceaselessly absorbed the killed blood fiends and vengeful spirits.
In the face of Chen Feng’s attacks, none of the blood fiends could qualify to receive a second attack from him. All of them were killed with one blow before the Blood Mustering Bead absorbed them all. As for the vengeful spirits who wanted to launch a sneak attack against Chen Feng, they were devoured by a formidable power before they could even approach Chen Feng.
By the time Chen Feng killed off tens of the blood fiends, the cultivators under his command had joined the battle. Seeing that, the sword cultivators from Heavenly Sword Faction did not breathe a sigh of relief. Instead, their will to fight soared further.
In the end, all of the surrounding blood fiends and vengeful spirits were killed off. Following that, they swept the area and worked on healing their wounds.

Several of the leaders there came forward to thank Chen Feng.
On Chen Feng’s side, he felt curious about how they would end up facing those blood fiends. Given the combat power of the sword cultivators, even if they were incapable of defeating the blood fiends, they should have been able to simply charge out.
“Sigh! We can only blame ourselves for being too careless. We fell for Heartless Heaven Sect and Warlord Pavilion’s scheme. Due to that, the blood fiends managed to surround us.” The one who spoke up was a high-level Human Immortal. Chen Feng did not recognize him. However, this Human Immortal displayed a great deal of respect towards Chen Feng. By then, there was none within Heavenly Sword Faction who did not know that Chen Feng, an honorary elder of their sect, had ties with Patriarch Heavenly Sword, the founder of their sect. Chen Feng’s cultivation base aside, just this identity was enough to have the entire Heavenly Sword Faction treat him with respect.
Chen Feng nodded and did not inquire further. This was a very normal thing. The two sides were constantly fighting one another back in Eternal World. Given how good of an opportunity this was, there was no way those fellows would not plot against Heavenly Sword Faction.
Next up, Chen Feng’s army and Heavenly Sword Faction’s army stayed together for 10 days. After they had more or less recovered from their injuries, they split up again. Large-scale battles had yet to start. Thus, splitting up was for the better.
The highest cultivation level allowed for this Planar Battlefield was the Earthen Immortal stage. Ascendant Immortals were not allowed to interfere. However, utilizing the power of magic treasures or other methods would not be considered a violation of the rules.
Although they had yet to see any Earthen Immortals so far, Chen Feng knew that those Earthen Immortals were definitely fighting one another somewhere.
Due to the rules, Earthen Immortals had to enter individually. The limit for the number of Earthen Immortals in a single group was five. Should any group of Earthen Immortals violate that limit, the immortal dao laws there would detect that and forcibly split them up. Either that or punish them.
The rules were a necessity. Too many Earthen Immortals joining forces would create an imbalance in the battlefield. That kind of power could easily massacre cultivators beneath the Earthen Immortal stage. Under these rules, however, it was possible for over 100 Human Immortals to besiege an Earthen Immortal. In such a scenario, it was possible for the Human Immortals to kill off that Earthen Immortal.
Due to the appearance of the teleportation arrays, the Planar Battlefield was thrown into chaos for a good three months. After three months, the situation gradually stabilized. However, the number of casualties had risen up to 20%. Rather, some sects had been completely eliminated from the Planar War.
Due to that, the smaller armies began diminishing and they all began joining forces. The cultivators from the same worlds decided to temporarily put aside their past differences and work together in order to win.
Chen Feng’s army had participated in tens of battles, some small and some large. After that, they grouped up with those from Heavenly Sword Faction.
This place was not the only place where the Planar War was unfolding. Likewise, not all of the forces from Eternal World had come to this place. For example, of the Four Great Academies from the Central Plains, only the cultivators from Absolute Academy were here.

The number of disciples that Heavenly Sword Faction sent forward was five times that of East Dragon Island. As for the loose cultivators who chose to join them, their number was three times that of East Dragon Island. Of course, some other large sects had also chosen to join forces with Heavenly Sword Faction, obeying Heavenly Sword Faction’s commands.
Within an Immortal-tier palace…
Many Human Immortals were seated there, forming a circle as they conducted a discussion. Chen Feng was there as well, the leader of several Human Immortals there.
This Immortal artifact’s name was Moon Sword Palace. It was one of the treasures belonging to Heavenly Sword Faction. How much offensive power it could contribute to this Planar War aside, its defensive and deterring power was high enough to make it a formidable existence.
Those who could qualify to sit there were practically all commanders. Chen Feng was seated while the few Human Immortals he brought over stood behind him.
They were discussing a decisive battle that would take place one month later. It was a decisive battle, not the ultimate battle.
“One month later, we will be facing Transcendent Wave Sect from Icy Frost World. They cultivate the Thousandfold Ice Formula. The number of men they have is the same as us. They also have Immortal artifacts. Does anyone here have any opinions or suggestions?” The one speaking was Immortal Daybreak. He was Jian Xiaotian’s master. This was not the first time Chen Feng met him.
“Transcendent Wave Sect is a first-rate sect in Icy Frost World. The Thousandfold Ice Formula they cultivate is also an immortal technique. We must not be careless,” Chen Feng said.
“Naturally. Although the disciples from our Heavenly Sword Faction likes to fight a lot, we are not that arrogant.”
After saying that, they all laughed.
“Elder Chen, you are the Island Lord of East Dragon Island. You reign over an area encompassing a radius of several million li, a heroic figure for us all. I ask Elder Chen to make the arrangements for this battle.”
Hearing that, Chen Feng waved his hand. “No. While I may not be inferior in fighting enemies in the field, coming up with battle plans is another matter.”
“Elder Chen, you are too modest. Truth be told, in the fight between us cultivators, there is indeed no need for too many preparations. Surely we are not going to set up a trap and hope they walk into it?” Another high-level Human Immortal spoke up.
“Even so, some preparations will still be necessary.”
“Since everyone here is speaking so highly of me, I will say something.” Chen Feng pondered for a moment before continuing, “The cultivators I brought over are proficient in water-type secret techniques. Truth be told, they are incapable of unleashing their full power in this battlefield. However, they should have no problems restraining or affecting the enemy.”
“Everyone here is a sword cultivator with astonishingly high offensive powers. If you can join your attacks together, the effect will be even better.”
“Elder Chen, no need to worry. Our Heavenly Sword Faction has some killer sword formations. We have long since trained our men to a proficient level with them.
After considering it some more, Chen Feng said, “Another thing, the other party must surely possess Immortal artifacts. Given the scale of the battle, it would be for the best if Immortal artifacts are not utilized. However, should the other party utilize their Immortal artifacts, I do have several Immortal artifacts waiting for them. Only, when the time comes, I hope that you can utilize this Moon Sword Palace to protect our men.”
Hearing that, they all grew delighted. Chen Feng’s cultivation base aside, they all knew that Chen Feng possessed more than one Immortal artifacts.
Now that Chen Feng had given them his assurance, the discussion there grew more animated. They expressed their opinions on the matter, coming up with some plans as they discussed the issue. And thus, one day quickly went by.
After returning, Chen Feng gathered up his men and came up with some more plans. At the same time, he utilized a secret technique to leave an imprint on each of them. During battle, in the event that his men did not instantly suffer from the obliteration of their souls, Chen Feng would be able to save them.
Truth be told, as commander, there wasn’t much for Chen Feng to do. After giving the orders, his subordinates would go handle the rest.
After cultivating himself for several days, Chen Feng saw that there were still over ten days before the battle. Due to that, Chen Feng deployed a secret technique. He condensed his divine sense into the shape of a sphere, which he then sent through space to secretly investigate the enemy camp.
This was somewhat similar to astral projection. However, it was stealthier and fleeting when compared to astral projection. Even if the other party’s cultivation level was higher than him, they would find it hard to discover him.
There was another aspect to this secret technique. The range of this technique was high. Normally, Chen Feng’s soul power could scan up to a radius of half a million kilometres. However, by utilizing this secret technique, he would be able to – for a short time – increase that radius by a hundred times. By borrowing the power of his Immortal artifacts, that radius would increase further.
Transcendent Wave Sect had set up camp somewhere over 50 million kilometres away from Heavenly Sword Faction’s camp. Surprisingly, there was a fairly sizable lake there. Only, this lake contained a thick power of blood and malice.
Chen Feng’s divine sense quickly circled around Transcendent Wave Sect’s camp. What he saw matched the information they had received about the camp beforehand. However, Chen Feng was unwilling to simply leave just like that. Thus, he utilized yet another secret technique.
Next up, the sphere of divine sense that was hiding in void space up in the sky shook violently and an eye appeared at the centre of the sphere. Strands of black and red light intertwined before shooting forward. Everywhere it went, the mountains, rivers, rocks and lands, everything was laid bare before the gaze. Even the nature of the stable space there was identified.
A pity, the minimum requirement to cultivate out the Divine Eye of Heaven is the Earthen Immortal stage. If not for that, I will be able to detect even Ascendant Immortals who are in hiding. Chen Feng felt a twinge of regret.
Still, I did gain something from this trip. If I hadn’t come, when the war begins and this force charge out… heh! That would be bad. Who knows just how many men from East Dragon Island and Heavenly Sword Faction would die then?

One should also note that the Aurora was in flux during that time and some things that were possible in the early days are no longer possible, especially with the advent of the Akashic record. Editors have included footnotes when possible to explain pre-aurora technologies or concepts and how they relate to current magical technologies. The contents of this work may upset readers. Multiverse of Marvel
-------------- "Let's leave my origins. We both have unspeakable origins. But the problem is I know of your origins. Galan of Taa." John said. Galactus' eyes squinted as John said his real name out loud. He never expected someone totally out of nowhere knew his actual name. "Never expected an unknown guy would know my origins. So what of it? I don't think it matters where I came from." Galactus replied. "It doesn't. You did what you had to do to survive. But the problem is you made a deal with the devil." John replied. Galactus looked at John with more stoic eyes now. He had done many things in the past and he made many bad decisions. He just wasn't sure what John was referring to so he was silent. John seeing that Galactus was silent and refused to speak said "Black Winter is coming." -------------When a cinephile and an otaku/weeb travels through dimensions and gets a system which can only be described as overpowered but comes with restrictions. At first he was overjoyed with the system but soon realizes that he is in a very dangerous world where his life was at risk all the time. (There will be no change in the canon until the New York War ends) Disclaimer : I am not an economist so I might have done some mistakes in the economics section of the story. If you have suggestions to make it better you can leave in the comments. Warning - The MC won't be OP from the start itself and will grow to a powerful character in due time. The starting feels a bit odd because I am totally new to writing a novel and I don't have an editor so the conversations and descriptions might be little stiff. I have been trying to improve. The romance in the story is very little and I understand that its badly written. I am sorry about that but no need to worry. It doesn't have any effect in the story. The story is assumed on the fact that the reader at least knows the plot of Marvel movies and some popular animes. All the other elements are explained as much as possible. P.S. This story is based on pure Marvel Multiverse
