Chen Feng had only just said that when two more strands of divine-tier power entered the Longevity Tower before they were divided between Bi Qing and Huo Yunlong.

The severity of the pseudo-Divine artifact’s collapse increased. The Longevity Tower had already extracted more than half of its divine-tier power.

If we succeed, we will be getting a Divine artifact. That way, our future path of cultivation will change.”

“But what if we fail?”

“There is a possibility of failure. Why else did I say we’re taking a gamble here?”

“Fine, let’s join forces.”

The two True Immortals quickly came to an agreement. Next, they swiftly fired out attacks at the Longevity Tower, going all out for it. Two waves of power, seemingly capable of annihilating everything, charged towards the Longevity Tower.

In their opinion, in order to suppress and collect the Longevity Tower, they would have to kill Chen Feng and the others. At the same time, they also need to weaken the Longevity Tower as much as they can.

However, things did not go according to plan. The attacks that the two fired out were swiftly absorbed by the Longevity Tower. And so, True Immortal Thundercloud was the only one left. When he saw True Immortal Illusion fleeing, he grew regretful. He then attempted to flee as well but Bi Qing managed to entangle him.

“Senior, why did you do this? You were too greedy.” Chen Feng emerged, his eyes shining with light to give off a formidable sense of oppression. This was a result of the rise in his soul power.

“Chen Feng!” True Immortal Thundercloud gnashed his teeth. Seeing the smile on Chen Feng’s face, though, brought a chill to his heart. Unbelievably, an Earthen Immortal could give him such a feeling.

Wielding the Longevity Tower, Chen Feng sent it smashing towards True Immortal Thundercloud. Seeing that, alarm bells rang out from True Immortal Thundercloud’s heart, but Bi Qing was entangling him so much that he was incapable of leaving.

A booming sound rang out and a mist of blood flew outwards. Then, True Immortal Thundercloud’s upper body flew away, leaving blood-coloured energy waves behind him. As for his lower body, the Longevity Tower had devoured it.

“A pity. He managed to get away.” Chen Feng shook his head, a wry smile on his face.

“He got lucky,” Bi Qing said and his cultivation level changed, falling back to the half-step True Immortal stage. That said, it was still a bit stronger compared to the average half-step True Immortal.

“I am puzzled. Is this True Immortal Thundercloud the one backing Heavenly Firmaments Palace? It doesn’t seem like it,” Chen Feng then said, a puzzled look on his face.

“I’m wondering about that as well. In the beginning, I had assumed that it is True Immortal Thundercloud. Later, when we fought, I sensed that he is likely not the one backing Heavenly Firmaments Palace. Naturally, True Immortal Illusion is also not it.” Bi Qing nodded.

“In other words, there are still others inside this immortal mountain. Or perhaps, they are inside this immortal temple. Still, for them to not appear even after we have collected a pseudo-Divine artifact? This is troubling.”

“It means that what the other party is after is more valuable than this pseudo-Divine artifact.”

Huo Yunlong emerged from the Longevity Tower as well. Next, two beams of light suddenly shot out from the Longevity Tower, going into Huo Yunlong and Bi Qing’s bodies respectively.

The three of them moved quickly, leaving the Immortal Cyancloud Temple and flying through the sky within the Driftcloud Immortal Mountain. The Longevity Tower had already locked down the aura of the other party. They could tell that there was a distance of tens of millions of li between them and the fleeing True Immortal.

Seeing the Longevity Tower catching up to him, the True Immortal employed a secret technique and he instantly disappeared. Surprisingly, he had left the Driftcloud Immortal Mountain.

The Longevity Tower was right on his heels and it left the immortal mountain as well. Arriving outside the Driftcloud Immortal Mountain, it then charged straight up into outer space.

The Longevity Tower kept jumping through various points in space. Watching that, Chen Feng found himself becoming bedazzled.

It was unknown just how far away they went from Eternal World as they chased after the True Immortal. In the end, they managed to corner him amidst a large group of asteroids.

“Sir, why leave in such a hurry?” Chen Feng’s team of three had emerged from the Longevity Tower and they circled the True Immortal.

“The Longevity Clan’s Chen Feng, Celestial Clearblue Plane’s Bi Qing and Flame World’s Huo Yunlong. Why are you three chasing me?” A smile appeared on the white-clad cultivator’s face.

“Ha ha ha! You sure know a lot about us. Looks like you have been secretly observing us for quite some time. Even in the face of a pseudo-Divine artifact, you were able to hold back. Sir, you sure can endure,” Chen Feng replied with a smile of his own.

“I am aware that I won’t be able to snatch it from you. So, it would be better not to take action.”

“Is that so?”

“Of course.”

“Very well. We also do not wish to exchange nonsensical words with you. Hand over the items on you.”

“What items?”

“Naturally, the items you found inside the immortal temple.”

“I do not know what you’re talking about.”

“Attack!”

Chen Feng’s team of three attacked at the same time. The words exchanged earlier was only meant to lull the other party. Naturally, the other party was also trying to lull Chen Feng’s team.

The instant Chen Feng’s team attacked, the True Immortal’s figure swayed and disappeared.
