Likewise, Chen Feng was also able to bring out some of his magic treasures to do battle with, such as swords etc. But the only thing the sword could provide was its sharpness. Unleashing sword energy was an impossibility. As for the Lightning Beads, Water Beads and others of the likes, they would be incapable of doing anything. Rather, should they end up getting destroyed here, Chen Feng would only end up becoming disheartened.

The power behind the stone lances charging towards the two of them was very strong. Ten plus stone lances had shot towards them and Chen Feng felt a slight feeling of numbness in his hand. Turning, he saw Man Niu swinging his copper staff, seemingly possessing an endless power within him. To Chen Feng’s surprise, there was a faint light radiating off the copper staff in Man Niu’s hand.

Could it be? Chen Feng suddenly thought of something and he promptly brought out the Immortal Slaughter Sword. It was a top-grade Immortal artifact. Swinging the sword, Chen Feng saw sword light flashing as it cut down one of the stone lances. But he swiftly kept the sword. Next, the Divine Sun Needle flashed out a few times before disappearing back into him as well. Finally, the Blood Mustering Bead floated out. As expected, a faint bloody light flowed out from it.

So, it is not that magic treasures are unusable in this world. Rather, it is because the level of my magic treasures is not high enough. Once my Blood Mustering Bead levels up to the Divine tier, it should be able to break the sealing power of this world’s magic arrays. A pity, it is not something that can be accomplished anytime soon. In the end, Chen Feng kept the Blood Mustering Bead.

For some unknown reason, the stone lances kept shooting at them without respite. It would appear as though they would never stop coming.

Chen Feng traced a circle with both hands and the power of yin and yang emerged to form the yin yang symbol. With a booming sound, the symbol grew in size and all of the incoming stone lances were knocked aside.

“Let’s go!”

Chen Feng shouted. With the yin yang symbol in front, he strode forward. Man Niu, on the other hand, chuckled as he followed suit.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The stone lances kept striking the yin yang symbol while the two of them advanced. After two hours, the yin yang symbol finally burst apart with a bang and countless stone lances engulfed the two of them.

The atmosphere of power from the stone lances caused Chen Feng’s scalp to go numb. This would not do. He had no choice but to take the stone lances head on. Chen Feng then intersected both his hands and yin yang energy flowed forth once more to form a Yin Yang Shield.

However, Man Niu was even faster. The copper staff in his hand abruptly swung out and it was as though a star had blown up. After the resulting light faded away, the stone lances were no more.

“Tsk, tsk, incredible! That move is strong enough to even kill off a Heavenly Immortal,” Chen Feng said, smiling.

“It’s just a minor trick.” Despite saying that, there was a smug look on Man Niu’s face.

However, more stone lances appeared. This time, the stone lances were even bigger, faster, stronger and more devastating. And so, Chen Feng sent forth the yin yang symbol that he had prepared beforehand. This time, Chen Feng had added something extra into the yin yang symbol and it spun while shining with a metallic light. It was as though it was formed using countless blades and all the stone lances striking it would be shredded to bits.

“There is the grand dao of metal within the power of yin and yang. Friend, you are also very strong,” Man Niu said, the copper staff in his hand smashing forward again. Light flashed and the two of them endured the attacks to carve a path forward.

“In the past, it was a stream of ice energy capable of freezing even half-step Heavenly Immortals. Now, it is a wave of stone lances. The power of these stone lances is likely slightly stronger. I wonder, how are those fellows up ahead faring?” Chen Feng had only just said that when he saw a tall cultivator. A stone lance had nailed his body and its momentum sent him flying backwards.

With a wave of his hand, Chen Feng sent a stream of yin yang energy out to stop the cultivator. It was none other than the tall cultivator whom he had fought against earlier. At that very moment, the face of the tall cultivator – a Heavenly Immortal – had become pale and his body was black and blue in colour. He cut quite the wretched sight.

“Long time no see!” Chen Feng said with a grin.

Boom!

A 10-zhang-long stone lance shot towards Chen Feng’s group of three. Even before the stone lance arrived, the yin yang symbol was already beginning to crack.

“Let me!”

Man Niu bellowed and placed the copper staff on his waist. Next, he moved forward to stop the stone lance with both hands. The stone lance, which was swiftly charging forward, was immediately halted. Following that, cracks began spreading out across it before it finally exploded into smithereens.

Seeing that, Chen Feng had to acknowledge Man Niu’s strength. The two of them were Heavenly Immortals, and yet, the stone lance had left the tall cultivator in a wretched state earlier.

Only, it did not take long before another two cultivators had to retreat towards their location. This time, the stone lance they faced was like a small mountain. In the face of this stone lance, even Man Niu ended up revealing a frown. All of them had to work together to break apart this stone lance.

“Fellows, we’ll have to join hands for the journey ahead.” The cultivator who spoke up sported a golden crown while wielding a sceptre. His face had a quaint quality of majesty, resembling that of an emperor. He was the first cultivator who charged in earlier.

“Yes, we should join hands.”

“Agreed. I can sense the aura of Divine artifacts.”

“Let’s go!”

The five of them joined forces and their rate of advance rose. Wherever they went, the stone lances would be shattered apart.

Chen Feng had been observing the other cultivators as they attacked the stone lances. The one with the golden crown displayed overbearing cultivation techniques with no parallel. He was like an emperor out for a tour. Every wave of his sceptre seemingly contained within it an overwhelming force.

As for the other two, one relied on brute force while the other relied on soft power. The two of them displayed a high level of cooperation. That said, Chen Feng could see that they were holding back and not giving it their all.

Bang!

The yin yang symbol that Chen Feng formed was punched through and Man Niu swiftly moved forward only to be forced back. The cultivator with the golden crown grasped and a stone lance the size of a palm ended up in his grasp.

“They’ve become smaller, but the power behind them hasn’t changed. This offensive power is not something that we can handle. Everyone, be prepared.”

“For what?”

“Getting wounded or killed.”

After the needle-like stone lances began appearing, those larger stone lances seemingly lost their power. If their group failed to break the large stone lances, they could evade them. The near-imperceptible and needle-like stone lances, on the other hand, was a different matter. Not long after entering, they began suffering from injuries. Additionally, after the stone lances wounded them, their bodies would begin to stiffen. By not forcing out the power invading their bodies, they would become rocks.

“Without these needles, the danger here would not be as high as the ice energy.”

“I don’t think this is all. There will likely be an even greater danger.”

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A loud and rhythmic sound rang out and the world itself seemingly shook. Next, they saw a massive and mighty-looking stone man charging towards them. The formidable atmosphere it emanated caused their scalps to go numb.

“You and your big fat mouth.”

Boom!

The massive stone man fired a punch forward and they all became like small boats in the face of a hurricane, tossed around as their bodies tumbled.

“Fellows, stop holding back! This opponent is very strong. Only by working together will we be able to charge forward.” Strands of golden light radiated out from the cultivator with the golden crown and the sceptre in his hand began growing in size. Next, he took the lead to charge forward.

Chen Feng’s figure leapt forward, smashing his way towards the stone man’s head.

Man Niu brandished his copper staff, swinging it down on the stone man as well. The other two cultivators looked at each other before following suit.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sounds of collisions kept ringing out as their attacks sent the stone man stumbling. And yet, even though the stone man appeared to be in an unfavourable position, all of them were shocked to find that they had failed to break through the stone man’s defence.

“What is this thing? To think that it could stop the attacks of Heavenly laws. I cultivate lightning techniques. And yet, they are actually useless against this type of stone.”

“That’s the grand dao of stone! It possesses astonishing defence. Your grand dao of lightning is worth jack against it! Not unless you’ve reached the mid-level Heavenly Immortal stage.”

“Humph! If I am a mid-level Heavenly Immortal, I would have broken this stone man a long time ago.”

Chen Feng and Man Niu attacked the stone man’s head, one from the left and one from the right. However, the backlash from their attacks nearly blew up their hands.

“Unfortunately, our strength is suppressed by this world. If it weren’t for that, one swing of my copper staff would be enough to finish off this fellow.” Man Niu felt as though he had become a normal human once more. No matter how hard he tried, he was incapable of breaking this stone man’s defence.

“Saying that now is pointless. Let’s think of a way to deal with it.” Chen Feng flew forward to land on the stone man’s head. Suddenly, wave after wave of ferocious power enveloped Chen Feng, who had to clench his teeth to endure, blood flowing out from his seven orifices.

Boom!

Again, Chen Feng unleashed a heavy blow upon the head, only to be sent flying as a result. Still, it would appear that he had succeeded in angering the stone man and a massive fist swept towards him.

Bang!

Chen Feng and Man Niu fell away, their bodies tumbling. During that critical moment, Man Niu had rushed forward to pull Chen Feng.

“Thanks!” Chen Feng panted heavily. Earlier, the stone man’s fist had only managed to graze him. And yet, it was enough to make half his body go numb and break several of his bones.

“That was some ballsy move just now,” Man Niu said.

Roar!

The stone man opened its mouth and bellowed, sending forth surging soundwaves which engulfed the tall-short cultivator duo. By the time they finally extricated themselves from the attack, every part of their bodies had become wounded. They were utterly stained in blood.

“I could never have imagined that a stone man could leave an exalted Heavenly Immortal in such a wretched state.” Chen Feng shook his head, a wry smile on his face. The Longevity Wings spread out from his back and he instantly appeared on the stone man’s head again.

“The Longevity Wings! Looks like this kid must have found the stone man’s weakness.” Seeing the Longevity Wings, Man Niu did not become shocked. Shaking his head, the copper staff in his hand then rapidly elongated as a power emerged from within it.

After Chen Feng appeared on the stone man’s head, the Longevity Wings moved to encase Chen Feng while his eyes shone with light and his gaze peered into the stone man’s body.

He saw wyrms swimming inside the stone man’s body. These wyrms were the ones providing the stone man with an endless amount of formidable power.

Eighty-one Heavenly laws. No wonder it could possess such a formidable combat power. Chen Feng understood that if he wanted to deal with the stone man, he would have to tackle it from this angle.

He also knew that this stone man was not invulnerable.

Extracting Heavenly laws is quite difficult. However, it is somewhat easier compared to facing a moving target. Light flowed out from Chen Feng’s eyes as he attempted to find the stone man’s weaknesses.

Bang! Bang!

This time, even the cultivator with the golden crown was wounded.

“What are you doing here?” The tall cultivator appeared above Chen Feng, a look of fury in his eyes. It was as though he believed that Chen Feng was lazing about.

Ignoring the tall cultivator, Chen Feng heavily stamped his feet and ripples spread out from the stone man’s head. As a result, the stone man swung a fist towards Chen Feng.

The Longevity Wings abruptly unfurled and Chen Feng evaded the attack. The tall cultivator, unfortunately, was not as lucky. He failed to evade and half his body was shattered.

“You wretch!” The tall cultivator swore loudly. He had wanted to fight Chen Feng, but he also knew that this was not the time for it. All he could do was to fly away to hide as his body recovered.

Once again, Chen Feng landed on the stone man’s head.

“Friend, what is it? Just tell us,” the cultivator with the golden crown suddenly said.

“You fellows need to help me entangle this stone man. I believe I have found a solution!” Chen Feng did not raise his head. Instead, his eyes continued to send a stream of light forward.
