《Everlasting》Chapter 1110 Black Iron Plate

“It doesn’t matter if he’s hiding his strength or not. We must pay him back for this!” Senior Brother Wang said, gnashing his teeth.
“But before that, check his background.”
…
“This is the Great Contribution Hall. It gives off a grand atmosphere of majesty. Most importantly, there are Heavenly Immortals keeping watch over it.” Chen Feng and Patron Mountriver entered a great hall, made from cyan-coloured stones, which was seemingly shrouded in immortal energy. It looked as though it was hidden amidst the clouds and Chen Feng could sense an orderly power within the stones. Should someone attack this place, who knows just how many magic arrays and power this hall would unleash in response?
“Come! Let’s go see what’s inside this great hall.” Bringing out their identification tokens, the two of them had a smooth time entering the great hall. Upon entering, Patron Mountriver grew astounded. There were various kinds of cultivation materials available for purchase there, all glowing with light within the crystalline walls of the great hall. There were cultivation techniques, rare spiritual herbs, ores, some whole magic treasures and others of the likes. Anything related to cultivation could be found there.
Soon, however, Patron Mountriver’s emotions subsided. There were indeed many items there. But given the amount of contribution points on him, the number of items he could purchase was limited. Rather, it would be more accurate to say that the items he could purchase were only items that did not interest him.
“Tsk, tsk. A top-grade immortal sword requires some tens of millions of contribution points.” Chen Feng jabbed with a finger and a cyan-blue sword immediately appeared on the surface of the crystal wall. Beside it was a detailed introduction for the sword.
Looks like the contribution points on me is insufficient to purchase anything good. Chen Feng shook his head. He was feeling somewhat regretful. For others, the items he could purchase might be good. But for him, they were not necessarily worth it.
Chen Feng quickly looked around the place, wondering if he would be able to find something good here.
Medicinal pills, spiritual herbs, secret techniques. They were either of no interest to Chen Feng or too expensive for him.
What’s this? In the end, a black iron plate attracted Chen Feng’s attention. There was no description for it, only that it required 10 million contribution points.
Instinctively, Chen Feng felt something interesting about this black iron plate. And so, he went to find the supervisor of the Great Contribution Hall to inquire about it.
“You’re talking about that black iron plate, right? I don’t know its exact origins either. However, not even Heavenly Immortals could break it. Heh! Junior brother, you look new here. So, I will give you an advice. Bluntly speaking, that iron plate is worthless.”
“Thank you, senior brother.” Even though it was brief, Chen Feng was able to glean some information regarding the black iron plate.
“Tower, what do you think?” As Chen Feng could not actually see the real thing here, he could not utilize his eye technique on it. Thus, he could only ask Tower.

“It has to be the fragment from a Divine artifact.” As they were incapable of seeing the real thing, Tower was also unable to give a proper judgement.
Helpless, Chen Feng then requested to see the iron plate, spending 100 contribution points for that. When the iron plate was finally brought over, Chen Feng heard some other cultivators talking.
They were talking about how someone else was wasting contribution points to identify the useless iron plate of unknown origin.
With the iron plate placed before him, Chen Feng’s eyes released a stream of light as he attempted to determine the origin of the black iron plate.
This time, Chen Feng was left disappointed. His eye technique, which was capable of seeing through falsehoods and bringing out the truth, even pierce space-time, was incapable of doing anything. It would appear that there was a layer of mysterious power coating the surface of the iron plate, blocking his gaze from entering it.
This is surely no ordinary item! Although Chen Feng was incapable of figuring out the origins of the iron plate, he determined that this iron plate was indeed an extraordinary item.
“I’m sure of it now. This is the fragment of a Divine artifact. Buy it! It is a priceless object!” Tower inhaled deeply upon seeing it.
“The fragment of a Divine artifact. Still, it depends on the level of the Divine artifact. Besides, I still do not have enough contribution points,” Chen Feng replied with a smile.
After making up his mind, Chen Feng swiftly left. As he had decided to obtain it, he would have to take action towards that end.
Patron Mountriver, on the other hand, used his contribution points to purchase a secret technique. Although it was not a particularly high-levelled secret technique, loose cultivators like him could learn a lot from the secret technique.
After leaving the Great Contribution Hall, Chen Feng headed straight to his grotto-mansion. He was in no hurry to earn more contribution points.
Ten days later, a rainbow-like pillar of light streaked across the sky before landing in front of Chen Feng’s grotto-mansion. The rainbow disappeared to reveal several cultivators there. Amongst them were Senior Brother Wang and the two heir disciples, who Chen Feng wounded in the past.
“It’s here, right? I say, you fellows are truly something else. To think that you would be bullied by a new loose cultivator.”
“Cousin, this fellow is very strong,” Senior Brother Wang was quick to say.
“I’d like to see just what kind of background he has.” A cultivator in light blue clothes brandished a sword and slashed out at Chen Feng’s grotto-mansion. This person was Senior Brother Wang’s cousin, Wang Yunxiao.
Before the sword beam he fired out could reach the grotto-mansion, it suddenly disappeared. It was like a pebble falling into the lake, leaving only ripples on the surface.
“He has quite some skills.” There was a somewhat ugly look on Wang Yunxiao’s face, but he continued to attack and wave after wave of sword light roared towards the grotto-mansion.
Chen Feng, who was inside, smirked. “The contribution points’ donors have finally come. That sure was a long wait. If they had come later, I might have chosen to go out and rob them.”

Taking one step, Chen Feng re-appeared outside his grotto-mansion. With a grasping motion, all the incoming sword beams disappeared without a trace.
Several high-level True Immortals actually came. They really are giving me troubles here. Still, they should have enough contribution points. A look of delight appeared on Chen Feng’s face.
“You’re Chen Qing, aren’t you? I am Wang Yunxiao. This person here is Sword Immortal Asura. This person…”
“Enough with the crap. Down!” Chen Feng could not be bothered to even chat with them. Once again, he stretched his hand out and pressed down with it. The eight cultivators on the other side instantly fell flat to the ground. That included three high-level True Immortals.
“How is this possible?!” Wang Yunxiao was so shocked that his eyeballs nearly popped out. He was a high-level True Immortal. Moreover, two of his friends were also in no way inferior to him. Unexpectedly, this opponent would be able to instantly defeat them. They had been incapable of fighting back at all.
At that very moment, everyone there had realized just how powerful Chen Feng was. Wang Yunxiao was inwardly cursing his cousin, so much so that Senior Brother Wang might just die from all those curses. At any rate, this cousin of his had brought a great calamity down upon him. Any mistake in dealing with the aftermath could potentially result in their deaths.
However, after reconsidering the situation, Wang Yunxiao thought back to how this fellow hid his strength and joined the Six Daos Sword Faction. This person must have his own objectives for doing so. Thus, it was unlikely that he would casually kill them off. When he thought of that, Wang Yunxiao breathed a sigh of relief.
“Senior, please forgive us! We junior have eyes, but we failed to see Mount Tai!” Various thoughts flashed across Wang Yunxiao’s mind. Even so, he was able to instantly cry out for mercy.
“If you fellows have enough contribution points, I can spare you fellows,” Chen Feng said smilingly.
“Eh?”
Before they could even understand what Chen Feng meant, they sensed the contribution points within their tokens flying out.
“Not bad!” Chen Feng nodded and released them. Senior Brother Wang and the other two heir disciples aside, these newcomers increased the amount of contribution points in his token to over 50 million points. That was more than enough to buy the iron plate.
“All right. We’re done here. You fellows may go.” Chen Feng waved them off. He didn’t want to trouble them too much.
“Thank you, senior! Thank you!” Regardless of whether or not those fellows were holding a grudge against Chen Feng, safely making their way out was the most important issue here.
“Hold up!” Chen Feng suddenly said again, causing the faces of Wang Yunxiao and the others to sink. They thought that Chen Feng would attack them again.
“I have already told you fellows back then. If you fellows come trouble me again, I will kill you.” Chen Feng’s gaze moved to rest upon Senior Brother Wang and the other two heir disciples, causing their faces to pale and they plopped down on their knees.
“Senior, please spare them this once.” Seeing the look on Chen Feng’s face, Wang Yunxiao knew that things were not looking good. However, this was his own cousin. Thus, he gritted his teeth and spoke up.
“Humph! I can spare your life, but a punishment is needed nonetheless.” After that, three beams of light flew out from Chen Feng’s eyes to enter Senior Brother Wang and the other two heir disciples’ bodies. Instantly, they felt their cultivation bases disappear completely. They had seemingly become ordinary humans. Sensing that, they grew utterly horrified. This was even worse than dying.
“Don’t worry. All I did was seal off your cultivation bases for a thousand years. During that time, you fellows should behave yourselves and stay in your grotto-mansions to reflect on your actions,” Chen Feng said, smiling.
“Naturally, you fellows can also go find some other people to unravel the seals within your bodies.” After saying that, Chen Feng turned around and left.
“Thank you, senior!” Chen Feng disappeared in the blink of an eye. Even so, Wang Yunxiao and the others continued to utter words of thanks.
“Phew! Thankfully, your cultivation bases are only sealed for a thousand years. Let’s hurry up and leave. We’ll return and find our elders to help unravel the seals.” Wang Yunxiao grew relieved. That said, there was a sizable feeling of grudge fomenting within him.
“Cousin, he is too much!”
“Shut up, this is all your fault! The way I see it, you fellows having your cultivation bases sealed for a thousand years is a good thing.”
Chen Feng had held himself back. Those fellows were all True Immortals with a life span of tens of millions of years. For characters like these, a thousand years was nothing. Though, if it weren’t for his concern of causing more unnecessary issues, Chen Feng would have killed them off long ago.
At that very moment, the most important issue for Chen Feng was to go purchase the black iron plate.
After arriving at the Great Contribution Hall, Chen Feng found the black iron plate. Just as his finger was about to tap the surface of the wall to complete the transaction, however, someone tried to cut in.
“I want that iron plate.” A mighty-looking cultivator strode forward. The atmosphere he released as he walked was extraordinary and a vacuum was left in his wake. Seemingly aware of just how strong he was, all the cultivators in the hall moved to the side to avoid him.
A half-step Heavenly Immortal! His cultivation base is quite good. Chen Feng was able to determine his cultivation base with just a glance.
Chen Feng ignored him.
His finger pressed and the surface of the crystal wall flashed. At the same time, 10 million contribution points were automatically deducted from Chen Feng’s token. Following that, the black iron plate, wrapped in flowing light, flew into Chen Feng’s hand.
“I’m sorry, you came late,” Chen Feng said.
