Sword Saint Windflow’s team of four revealed looks of delight and they flew into the passageway.

“Chen Qing, why are you here?” Sword Saint Windflow stepped forward and shouted, a wary look in his eyes.

“I accidentally came in. What is this thing?” Chen Feng then walked forward. At the top of the small mountain was a sphere the size of a palm. The sphere was spinning slowly, seemingly formed from energy.

“Hold it!” Sword Saint Windflow’s face sank and he moved forward to stop Chen Feng.

“This is something outside the scope of the mission. Senior Brother Chen, please head back.” Sword Saint Windflow stared at Chen Feng while the other three moved over to surround him.

“Going back now is likely impossible. You fellows should step aside. I just want to see what this is.” Chen Feng strode forward and the 64 Heavenly laws in him surged, causing formidable power to roil across the surface of his body.

The two sides made contact and Sword Saint Windflow’s team was immediately sent flying. Chen Feng, on the other hand, was unaffected at all and he continued moving forward to stand before the small mountain.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that it was a miniature mountain. At the height of only tens of zhang, Chen Feng was nonetheless able to sense the formidable power contained within it. Any attempts to collect the sphere of power at its peak will surely trigger this miniature mountain. Judging by the extraordinary power of the mountain, it was possible to imagine what would happen should that come to pass.

“Chen Qing, this is not something that you can interfere with!” Sword Saint Windflow had already gotten up. Seeing Chen Feng stand before the mountain, he grew anxious and his face turned somewhat contorted.

Only after he was standing before the miniature mountain was Chen Feng able to ascertain that it was something that he needed.

A fragment of the Great Wilderness Ding. This is the fourth one. Only, a Gold Immortal had refined it in the past, causing it to assume a different form. The purple-gold palm appeared once again and it moved to grasp the energy sphere in an overbearing manner. However, the surrounding space shook turbulently and countless golden threads emerged from the void, transforming into streams of light, which then assailed the purple-gold palm.

As a result, the purple-gold palm was smashed and dispersed before it could even approach the energy sphere.

“I see. No wonder the expert did not come. The arrays here are actually so powerful. As expected of the arrays set up by a Gold Immortal.” Seeing what happened shocked even Chen Feng.

In other words, this fragment will also be very difficult to collect. Chen Feng, who had been thinking about taking action, had to temporarily dismiss the idea.

A great hand stretched forward to grab the energy sphere. Once again, the surrounding space shook and cracks spread outwards. The other three Heavenly Immortals had been unable to evade in time and they were immediately ripped to pieces by the spatial cracks.

Ruthless! This fellow is vicious! Chen Feng’s figure darted away and two spatial cracks that were spreading towards him missed.

The half-step Gold Immortal who took over Sword Saint Windflow’s body simply did not care about the lives of others. His ultimate objective was the energy sphere.

As space had been shattered, a high number of cracks appeared. By then, Chen Feng had been forced to utilize the Longevity Steps to continuously evade the cracks. Additionally, due to the coercive atmosphere of power from the half-step Gold Immortal, Chen Feng had to constantly back away. In the end, he found himself with no way to evade and one of the spatial cracks struck him, causing a flower of blood to bloom. It had managed to inflict a wound upon his body.

Two more cracks intertwined as they moved towards Chen Feng, who waved his hand to cause XXX to burst forward. Not only did this move fail to eliminate the two cracks, it instead triggered even more spatial cracks.

Next, Chen Feng began flitting through the chaotic stretch of space. By then, the space there had seemingly become filled with layer after layer of cobwebs. It was terribly damaged. And yet, Chen Feng had only needed several turns to make his way through the cracks. Emerging, he then saw that Sword Saint Windflow had obtained the energy sphere. Wave after wave of terrifying power assailed the surrounding space, causing it to completely break down. Chen Feng thus became like a butterfly in the face of a tsunami, in danger of being drowned at any moment.

In the face of such absolute power, even the Longevity Wings was affected.

Chen Feng cast his gaze upon the miniature mountain which was submerged within the void and his eyes lit up. A black suit of armour appeared to encase his body. This was the altered form of the Great Wilderness Ding’s fragments. Next, whenever the chaotic energy streams there approached Chen Feng, no matter how overbearing and capable of destroying space-time they were, the suit of armour Chen Feng wore would shine with a faint divine light to unravel them.

Sou!

The miniature mountain, a fragment of the Great Wilderness Ding, felt a pulling power from the suit of armour that Chen Feng wore and flew towards him. Before Chen Feng could even respond, it had already fused into the suit of armour. Next, the suit of armour emanated a formidable wave of power, quaking Chen Feng to the point of puking out blood. Chen Feng found that he was gradually losing control over the fragments of the Great Wilderness Ding.

This is bad! This is the handiwork of the will of the Gold Immortal within the fragment! Chen Feng was greatly shocked and his soul flame began burning furiously. He was only barely able to have the fragments maintain their shape, that of a suit of armour to protect him from the chaotic spatial energy streams.
