“To think that there would be loose cultivators who are more willing to put their lives on the line compared to the assassins from the Immortal Slaying Pavilion. Given how hard they had to cultivate to reach this level, these loose cultivators should value their lives more,” Chen Feng said with a chuckle.

“Their objective is you alone. All they need to do is kill you.”

“Looks like I failed to put on a strong enough deterring display of power back then. I am presently in critical need of time. They know this and do not want to give me the chance to develop.” Chen Feng nodded.

“With our current might, assassinating a few half-step Gold Immortals is not particularly difficult,” the Dark Kirin suddenly said.

“Since they’ve taken action, it would be remiss of me to not respond. With Heng Ri standing guard over the Primordial Mountain Range, there should be no issues there.” After saying that, Chen Feng and the Dark Kirin then swiftly set off.

Heng Ri was the name of the variant wyrm. As a cultivator from the Extreme Yang Star Region, he cultivated the power of extreme yang. Since advancing to the Gold Immortal stage, he had been spending all his time in cultivation retreat.

The Dark Kirin took the lead in attacking, the dragon spear stabbing out to punch a deep hole through the arrays there.

“Tsk, tsk. The other party also has the support of a mid-grade Divine artifact. How unexpected! Are mid-grade Divine artifacts so worthless in the Immortal Plane now?” the Dark Kirin said with a chuckle.

“It is a sect with a legacy spanning billions of years, after all. Even the Six Daos Sword Faction has the Six Daos XXX. Only, it was taken away by Divine Monarch Six Daos.” Chen Feng brought out the Withered Bone and stabbed with it. First, a large hole appeared on the arrays before rapidly expanding in size. Due to the attack, the power and vitality of the arrays were continuously disappearing away.

“Who? Who dares come stir trouble in our Starsource Order?”

A half-step Gold Immortal who was in charge of defending the place had already recognized Chen Feng and the Dark Kirin. However, he did not appear. Instead, he simply bellowed from within the magic arrays. At the same time, he controlled the magic arrays to attack Chen Feng and the Dark Kirin.

Next up, Chen Feng and the Dark Kirin headed to the Immortal Sword Sect and Immortal Slaying Pavilion’s headquarters. Again, they unleashed furious attacks upon the gates before leaving. Back then, several of Immortal Sword Sect’s half-step Gold Immortals had already arrived. And yet, not one of them dared to attack.

Seeing that, Chen Feng knew that the three forces would quiet down for some time. This was the result that Chen Feng wanted.

“Young Master, someone came to see you.”

A few days after Chen Feng returned to the Six Daos Sword Faction’s headquarters, Da Feng came to Chen Feng’s grotto-mansion to report.

“It’s a female cultivator from the Iron Blood Alliance.” A vaguely amused look flashed across Da Feng’s eyes.

“The Iron Blood Alliance? Is it Xue Luosha?” Chen Feng was somewhat taken aback. Xue Luosha’s image appeared in his mind.

Inside one of the reception halls within the Six Daos Sword Faction, Xue Luosha, clad in a fiery-red suit of armour, stood there waiting for Chen Feng’s arrival. Beside her were several other Heavenly Immortals who came here with her. There was one thing all of them had in common. They were all bearing wounds.

I didn’t think that he would actually have such a monumental background. Additionally, he even caused such a stir in the Immortal Plane. I wonder what kind of attitude he will display when he sees me? Xue Luosha was feeling somewhat apprehensive.

“Sorry for the wait.” As Xue Luosha was pondering the issue, Chen Feng walked in.

“Chen Feng.” Xue Luosha was somewhat surprised. Seeing Chen Feng made her feel somewhat lost. At that very moment, the atmosphere that Chen Feng gave her was somewhat different from the past. “Yes. Annexation of other forces and war between sects are very normal in the Immortal Plane. A high number of forces would disappear every day. Likewise, a high number of new forces would emerge every day.” Chen Feng nodded.

“The strange part is, we do not know the background of the other party. All we know is that they are very strong. They were able to easily wipe out our Iron Blood Alliance. More, they also wiped out the Mountains and Rivers Alliance, Sun Moon Alliance, Iron Sword Alliance and several others. But before those forces could even take action, Heng Ri, who was in cultivation retreat all this time, came under attack.

Thanks to the connection from the soul shackle, Chen Feng was instantly alarmed. He rapidly notified the Dark Kirin before rushing towards the place of battle.

Upon his arrival there, Chen Feng secretly breathed a sigh of relief. “Heng Ri had time to set up a spatial battlefield. This proves that the enemy is not too strong.”
