Initially, they were all taken aback. However, they were quick to recollect themselves and found that the Slaughterers were in the midst of fleeing deep into the starry space. Gold Immortal Fire Feather and the others were pursuing the Slaughterers.

Tens of Gold Immortals were hunting down billions of Slaughterers. This was a most peculiar situation.

Chen Feng’s gaze peered far ahead, making its way through the many layers of the void and saw black-coloured warships hovering in the starry space. The warships were constantly firing out devastating beams of light. Those were the small energy cannons installed on the warships. Additionally, there were also teams of soldiers, consisting entirely of Heavenly Immortals, charging forward.

The number of teams charging forward had reached the 100,000 mark and each team consisted of 10,000 men. Additionally, there were also hundreds of thousands of half-step Gold Immortals overseeing the battle while over a hundred Gold Immortals charged into the army of Slaughterers to begin a bloodbath.

There were up to 100,000 warships, all of which were low-grade Divine artifacts. Furthermore, each ship also contained a high number of cultivators.

There was a highly entangled expression on Chen Feng’s face.

“The Immortal Court has made its move,” Magiris said.

“To think that the Immortal Court could be this powerful. More, this should only be part of its full force.” Chen Feng took a deep breath before sighing.

“The Immortal Court is indeed very strong. The number of people in the Immortal Plane far exceeds that of our Celestial Planes. “The Immortal Court only has itself to blame for its large appetite. It had actually attacked so many forces at once. If they had targeted us one at a time, then, even if our Six Daos Alliance is ten times stronger, it would be incapable of stopping them,” Magiris said with a smile.

Chen Feng retracted his gaze. Gold Immortal Fire Feather and the rest were charging forward in pursuit of victory. As for Chen Feng and Magiris, due to the Immortal Court’s participation, they had no intentions of taking action.

“Thankfully, though, Eternal World is saved.”

The two of them waited for a moment and almost all the Slaughterers finally disappeared from sight. By Chen Feng’s estimate, the Immortal Court’s actions had inflicted over 100 million casualties on the army of Slaughterers. He even saw several Gold Immortal stage Slaughterers dying to them.

“If only these fellows from the Immortal Court came earlier,” Magiris said.

“Even though they came, I feel like it is not a good thing.” There was a serious look on Chen Feng’s face.

“Something does feel wrong.” Magiris had also sensed something amiss.

A purple stream of light appeared within their sights and fell upon Eternal World like a meteor.

Despite having pushed his Divine Eyes of Heavenly Insight to its limits, Chen Feng could only tell that it was a talisman. He could not determine the specifics of the talisman.

After descending, the purple talisman swiftly entered Eternal World and Chen Feng then felt the lands quake. A strange feeling surged into his heart.

“It’s a talisman crafted by a Paramount Gold Immortal!” Magiris’ eyes lit up.

Chen Feng shook his head. He could already guess what they wanted to do.

As expected, Eternal World then shook and began moving. This was an ancient, great world. Although it was still not comparable to the Demon Plane, Nether Plane and some other high-level life-bearing worlds, it was not something that some life-bearing planets could match. At that very moment, this ancient, great world was moving through the starry space.

While it seemed as though it was not moving quickly, it was in fact, constantly breaking through layer after layer of space. This was something that could only happen due to it having reached a certain level of speed. In Chen Feng’s opinion, the speed at which Eternal World was moving had exceeded that of a half-step Gold Immortal.

Secretly performing a divination, Chen Feng’s face then turned even uglier to behold.

“Enough with the divination. Isn’t it already obvious? A Paramount Gold Immortal from the Immortal Plane has taken action and the direction that Eternal World is taking will lead it to the Immortal Plane. Sigh! We had to fight to the death for so long only for the Immortal Plane to get a bargain in the end.” Magiris scoffed.

“Meaning, the Immortal Plane wants to fuse with Eternal World. If so, Domain World, Primal World and the other life-bearing great worlds are likely within its scheme as well.” Chen Feng’s eyes shone with a greater intensity.

“A scheme. Yes. This is indeed a scheme. The Immortal Court had planned all of this. Perhaps, the Immortal Court was the one who secretly unleashed the Slaughterers.” After Chen Feng said that, light continued to shine from his eyes.

“I suspect the same. The average Gold Immortals are likely incapable of opening such a massive spatial passageway. Additionally, how could so many Slaughterers just so happen to come out from the spatial passageway?” Magiris said.

“All of it is a trap that the Immortal Court arranged long ago. Have the Slaughterers stir up a commotion. Then, make use of the chaos to collect and fuse the life-bearing great worlds with the Immortal Plane to make it even bigger. This is the Immortal Court’s plan.”

“A Heaven-hoaxing Technique. This is truly a Heaven-hoaxing Technique. Is the Immortal Court not afraid that the number of Slaughterers that they lured over will exceed their ability to handle?” Killing intent spilled out from Chen Feng’s body.

“Since the Immortal Court is the one that opened the spatial passageway, it can also close the passageway. How despicable! Doesn’t that make us clowns? We lost so many men, but all our efforts only ended up benefitting the Immortal Court.” Magiris grew enraged.

Should their speculations turn out to be true, then all the forces involved – except the Immortal Court – had been used; used as cannon fodder.

Thinking about how countless life-bearing places had been lost to the Slaughterers, clumps of raging flames appeared within Chen Feng’s heart.

Most importantly, Chen Feng and his companions had been played like fools.

“This is not over.” Chen Feng performed a divination again, growing increasingly certain that his speculation was correct.

Suddenly, a wave of formidable power descended to affect Chen Feng and Magiris.

“By the decree of the Immortal Court, all cultivators are to immediately head over. Acts of negligence will not be tolerated!” A formidable power shocked their hearts. Next, the two of them felt a formidable pulling power enveloping them, desirous of pulling them out from Eternal World.

Turning, Chen Feng then saw that the same thing was happening to Heng Ri and the space-time extra-terrestrial creature. Rather, they were in a worse state compared to Chen Feng and Magiris.

“Humph!”

Chen Feng scoffed and power surged out from every part of his body to resist the pulling power. Magiris too, fought back.

“They want to summon us to fight.”

“No dice!”

Despite saying that, Chen Feng and Magiris found that they were gradually losing the fight against the pulling power. Even their bodies had begun freezing.

Chen Feng linked up with the Celestial Longevity Plane while Magiris linked up with the Celestial Malla Plane.

With the support of the Celestial Planes’ essence power, the pulling power acting on the two of them gradually dissipated.

Quickly, another wave of pulling power descended. This time, it was several times stronger than before.

Peering ahead, Chen Feng then saw that Gold Immortal Fire Feather and the others had been pulled into the Immortal Court’s camp. Clearly, they had been incapable of resisting the Immortal Court’s pulling power.

Those Gold Immortals did not have any Celestial Plane to serve as their supporter. Thus, they could not put up the same level of resistance as Chen Feng and Magiris.

“Let’s go. The Immortal Court is even more dangerous than the Slaughterers,” Magiris said.

Chen Feng nodded and punched to shatter space, creating a pitch-black passageway. Chaotic energy streams surged continuously within the passageway. Streams of light then flowed out from Magiris’ eyes and the passageway stabilized. Following that, Chen Feng waved his hand and Heng Ri and the space-time extra-terrestrial creature were sent in. He and Magiris were quick to follow. By the time the Gold Immortals from the Immortal Court arrived, the spatial passageway had already closed up.

“They actually managed to escape. These two fellows sure are something else,” one of the Gold Immortals said with a smile.

“They are from the Celestial Planes. Of course they are something else.”

“Humph! One day, our Immortal Court will annex the Celestial Planes and unify this immortal region.”

“Enough! We still have many tasks to handle next.”

Seeing that Chen Feng and Magiris had already left, the Gold Immortals did not give chase. Instead, they simply exchanged a few words before leaving.

Chen Feng and Magiris swiftly returned to the Immortal Plane and they arrived at the Six Daos Alliance’s headquarters. Their divine senses swept out and Dao Monarch Heavensdao and the others came to meet them.

Chen Feng asked some questions regarding the situation in the Six Daos Alliance. After finding out that everything was normal, he grew at ease. Then, assigning Heng Ri and the space-time extra-terrestrial creature to stay guard over the Six Daos Alliance, Chen Feng set off for the Dark Plane with Magiris.

This time, they did not bring other cultivators along with them. In Chen Feng’s opinion, the two of them combined was strong enough to fight and even kill off a veteran Gold Immortal. Thus, bringing other cultivators along would only drag them down.

On the other hand, while the Six Daos Alliance appeared to be safe at the moment, there was no telling what would happen in the future. Thus, he had decided to leave those two Gold Immortals behind to help protect it.

Additionally, Chen Feng also had some other considerations in his mind. For example, would the Immortal Plane attack the Dark Kirin?

All in all, after going through a swift round of divination and considerations, he came to the conclusion that the best choice would be for just him and Magiris to head there.

More, there was also a passageway connecting to the Dark Plane in the Six Daos Alliance. Due to that, Chen Feng and Magiris were able to swiftly locate the Dark Plane. Using a spatial passageway, they quickly arrived at the Dark Plane.

After emerging from the spatial passageway into the Dark Plane, both Chen Feng and Magiris felt something peculiar. Magiris responded by utilizing his eye technique while Chen Feng utilized the Dark Scripture.

It did not take long before the two of them established a special connection with the Dark Plane. They did not encounter any rejection from the Dark Plane.

Still, they were only briefly shocked by that and they quickly recollected themselves.

“I forgot. You have an innate predisposition towards the power of darkness. As for me, I have received the Dark Scripture’s legacy. For us, coming here is the equivalent of returning to our homeland.” Chen Feng smiled.

“Enough. Let’s deal with these problems first.” Magiris waved his hand, bringing out the Illusory Demon Edge.
