That evening, before darkness fell, Zhu Junyang ate a bowl of glutinous sweet dumplings with his parents, eldest brother, and eldest sister-in-law before he hurried out. Imperial Prince Jing swallowed his final bite of glutinous dumpling as he frowned at the sight of his youngest son leaving in a rush. As a father-in-law, how many times in one day can I encounter a daughter-in-law? Don’t you spend the most time with the daughters-in-law instead? The most important thing is that she’s able to get along with you and make you happy!”
