Chapter 536: 536
Chapter 536: Skyfire King
The celestial battlefield was incredibly vast, containing nine constellations within.
Each constellation had basically been occupied by almost all pinnacle races, and the untitled cultivators of the universe could at best take up some of the fringe planetary systems or planets.
Be that as it may, countless untitled cultivators would still journey across the stars, coming like moths to the flame of the celestial battlefield—the chance to ascend there was far beyond any out there.
Nonetheless, some of the curious untitled cultivators would still manage to make a name for themselves in the celestial battlefield over the endless ages.
The Skyfire King was one such example.
He is an elite Grand Luo who occupied a fringe system on the edge of the Grand Luo battlefield, ruling sixty-four living planets.
He named the planetary system Skyfire system.
***
Right now, a massive flying ship shining in dazzling radiance was streaking through the edge of the Skyfire system.
It was thousands of meters long, and the decks above it was as luxurious as a palace.
The ship was marked with complex and mystical arrays, and it was propelled ahead by immortal crystals.
There were warping arrays included that allowed it to warp.
Moreover, the flying ship was high in quality—an acquired soul treasure, it would stay completely unaffected even if it ran into spatial storms or dimensional turbulence in outer space.
At the moment, Jiang He was sitting on the surface deck with a grill rack placed in front of him.
Since it was a superior-grade immortal item Jiang He crafted, the grill rack could change sizes and the fire could be controlled at will.
Right now, Dumbo, Trumbo, the maids, the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers, and the Nine Wise Rock Monkeys were all standing around the grill rack.
Dumbo is twirling the grill skewer, on top of which a Feral Tiger was being grilled.
It was a Heavenly Immortal-tier untitled cultivator.
Jiang He found it massacring a living planet, and so directly took it down for grilled meat.
“The Skyfire King… Grand Luo-pinnacle?”
“A volcanic giant—a special lifeform from space?”
Jiang He was studying the star map that the Jade Emperor had given him.
The map was recorded with the position of planets, star systems and constellations of the celestial battlefield, along with minute details about certain elites from outer space.
“Oh?”
“This volcanic giant is interesting… like cosmic behemoths, he is from a rare race that numbers less than a few hundreds even across the universe.”

“The Skyfire King is suspected to have sworn fealty to the Demons?”
That was the only addendum to the information about the Skyfire King, written at the last spot.
Soon, the aroma of meat overflowed across the deck.
Getting himself a huge chunk of tendon and pouring a cup of divine wine bestowed by the Jade Emperor, Jiang He took out his premium-grade immortal knife and fork, leisurely savoring the wine and the meat as he said, “It’s been half a month since we left the Celestial Court… but why has it been so calm since then?”
“Weren’t the Demi-Saints of the Gods and Demons making waves about trying to kill me?”
“Where are they?”
It was not as if Jiang He was in a rush to be attacked.
Ever since he assumed the path of a cultivator, he had done everything quickly and decisively—he would not delay an issue if it could be solved at three in the morning to next morning.
He was out this time mainly to fish out targets with himself as bait, obtaining some resources and trying to improve his immortal cultivation. Even so, he had no luck even though half a month had now passed, and he would have stayed at the Celestial Court to keep farming if he had known.
Still, Jiang He then remembered the divine rice when it comes to the topic of farming.
Three hundred thousand catties of divine rice were not much since his Farm was large enough, and they managed to finish farming and harvesting in days, acquiring a total of thirty million catties of divine rice and over three billion Farm Points.
“I’ll stroll around the celestial battlefield for another month, but if I’m still getting nothing, I have to take the initiative to attack…”
After having his fill, Jiang He entered his Farm in a flash, immediately noticing veins of Daoist radiance swirling in a corner.
A curious presence was extending from that light, and Jiang He became delighted when he looked closer!
The grasses over the fifty-three graves of foreign Grand Luo were now several meters tall and many stone coffins had grown out from the messy grasses.
“The System really has it ways.”
Jiang He could not help wisecracking as he headed to a corner of the Farm. “Before this, it was trees over graves, and people growing on said trees… now, there are coffins too?”

Despite his words, he was actually inwardly hopeful.
He had planted—or buried, to be precise—Grand Luo from foreign races in those fifty-three graves.
In addition, he had put in a lot of investment in each grave when he buried them, having added a large pack of Living Soil of the Nine Heavens in each grave… and after it grew for almost a month, the doubled strengthening effect from the Farm and the Living Soil of the Nine Heavens would definitely improve those Grand Luo’s abilities up to the next level!
It would not be a problem for them to reach Grand Luo-intermediate if they were Grand Luo-novice, or if full-fledged Grand Luo if they were Grand Luo-pinnacle.
Jiang He was especially looking forward to Lord Skyless and Moyin, lords of the God and Demon races respectively.
They had both reached the upper-limit of Grand Luo-tier and could turn the tables against Demi-Saints, having reached the limits of Grand Luo be it in ability, cultivation, or Dao enlightenment.
But standing before the many stone coffins, Jiang He saw that each appeared perfectly ordinary and there was nothing unique about them, aside from the curious presence swirling around them.
He nonchalantly opened one.
[Ding!]
[+1 billion Farm Points.]
A System Notification jingled in his mind.
Within the stone coffin, the utterly charming female Grand Luo Sura slowly opened her eyes.
A blood-hued Dao immediately erupted from the Farm in that instant, but was promptly withdrawn in the next.
The female Sura then emerged from the coffin in blood-colored robes. Her hair was shoulder-length and she knelt on one knee as she spoke adorably, “Greetings, Master.”
Jiang He fixed his eyes upon her, and a cluster of data showed up over her head.
[Blood-Robed Sura King]
[Cultivation: Full-fledged Grand Luo]
[Race: Sura]
There was a detailed introduction of her other aspects as well, such as cultivation methods.
“Sura King?”
Jiang He muttered, clearly puzzled by the name.
“Master, all Suras earn the title of Sura King if they could clear the trial prepared by Nether River in the Blood Sea,” the female Sura explained while still on her knee. “Most Grand Luo can clear it and gain that title, though there were also three Golden Immortals who had managed to earn the title of Sura King in the last few dozen thousands of years.”
“I see.”
Jiang He nodded in realization. “Stand up to talk to me.”
He then opened the remaining fifty-coffins.
Disappointingly, however, none of the fifty-three Grand Luo had become Demi-Saint. Even Lord Skyless and Lord Moyin whom he had pinned his hopes on could not ascend.
It was therefore obvious how high the bar to rise from Grand Luo to Demi-Saint was.
Of course…
Those two still had such a strong cultivation base that they were now close to Demi-Saint after they were strengthened through planting, and were capable of ascending at any instant.
Even so, Jiang He was absolutely frustrated when he saw the group of Grand Luo and scolded, “What a bunch of trash. You can’t even ascend with this? What a waste of my Living Soil of the Nine Heavens… go right now and start cultivating, or each of you are self-destructing if you don’t reach Demi-Saint.”
***
Two days later, Jiang He’s group reached a living planet at the Skyfire system.
Considering that the Demi-Saint of the Gods and Demons had yet to attack him even after so long had passed, Jiang He thought about it and called out to Dumbo and Trumbo, instructing them, “Look around the planet to see if you could find vassal races of the Gods and Demons. Try to draw their elites here if you do.”
Having received their orders, Dumbo and Trumbo searched the entire planet and actually managed to find one God, along with several cultivators from vassal races of the Gods and Demons.
But despite being handed a thrashing, they did not even dare to fart.
“Master, those Gods were merely Heavenly Immortals and would definitely be small fries in their race… Weren’t you saying that the Skyfire King is a Demon? Should I go with Trumbo to Skyfire and beat him up?”
Jiang He replied, “The information only suggests, but whether it is actually the truth remains to be proven… But that is not a bad idea, since the Gods and Demons would never be able to find me immediately even if they wanted to try anything against me in the vastness of the universe and the celestial battlefield.”
“Skyfire is quite known even in the celestial battlefield. Even if we can’t kill him, we would have an excuse to fight him and cause some commotion, drawing the elites of the Gods and Demons.”
Musing to himself for three seconds, Jiang He then stood up and exclaimed in delight, “Come, let’s depart right now for Skyfire!”
