The car came to a gradual stop outside the hospital that Xu Jiamu stayed in . Qiao Anhao glanced at the people entering the hospital before turning to look at Lu Jinnian . “Thank you for sending me here . ”

Lu Jinnian stared outside the window at the hospital, his jaw tight . After a while, he replied with a faint “Yea . ”

Qiao Anhao paused for a bit . “I’ll go down first, Mrs . Xu is waiting for me . ”

“Okay,” Lu Jinnian replied in a monotonous voice as his throat closed up .

Qiao Anhao pulled the door, realizing that it was locked . She turned her head to remind him .

He replied with a light “yea”, rushing to open the lock . Just then, he hit the front lights and quickly offed it .

Qiao Anhao could hear the clicking from the car, she pushed open the door once again and alighted . After shutting the door, she hesitated for a bit before turning to look at Lu Jinnian . “Bye . ”

Lu Jinnian nodded, but just when she was about to shut the door, he called out, “Qiao Qiao . . ”
