Chapter 402: The Return
Chapter 402: The Return
Galbraith and Gene were not on a high level.
They were both on the low Challenger level.
They were not very strong.
But they were well respected in their respective alliances.
Looking at the two, Ye Xuan said, “You can go back to your clans too. I am not going to impart the Sacrifice Spell to you for now. When you go back to your clan, you can go on living your life in your old way.”
“If you detect any unusualness in the slave seals in your souls, go to the area where the Divine Temple of Ten Thousand Spirits is located on the Ancient God Planet. I will go to see you by then.”
“Okay!”
Galbraith and Gene were shocked at what they had heard.
They knew what Ye Xuan meant.
They knew Ye Xuan wanted them to be his spies for some plan of his.
They were feeling quite complicated.
But at the moment, their lives were in Ye Xuan’s hands, so they had to do what he told them to do.
“Don’t worry. All of my promises still count. If you can make any contribution, I will certainly reward you as well,” Ye Xuan added after seeing the two’s expressions.
He had gained a lot this time.
Putting other things aside, the contract with the Seal Beast brought him dozens of Challenger-level subordinates and consequently a lot of luck points.
He had more than twenty thousand luck points at the moment.
So many luck points could bring him a lot of gains.
The luck points he had gained absolutely would make his strength soar in a short time when he left the Ancient God Planet.
Then Ye Xuan glanced over the others there.
Some of them were Beast Tamers from neutral clans.
He did not release these Beast Tamers.
It was not necessary.
There were only three forces in the Galaxy—the Great Xia Alliance, the Silver Blood Alliance, and the Alliance of Ten Thousand Planets.
When he became the leader of the Great Xia Alliance, he would merge the Silver Blood Alliance and the Alliance of Ten Thousand Planets.
The other clans in the Galaxy would certainly surrender to him.
Ye Xuan did not deliver any speech. He let Na Ruoyu and others go.
When they had left, he shifted his consciousness to take the remaining Challenger-level Beast Tamers into the Tree of World.
And he imparted the Sacrifice Spell to them.
The Sacrifice Spell could enhance a person’s strength greatly and quickly.

Among the thirty or forty Beast Tamers, there were five on the peak Challenger level.
Once those five Beast Tamers on the peak Challenger level used the Sacrifice Spell, they would achieve the Legend level quickly.
How quickly? In ten days.
In other words, he would have five Legend-level Beast Tamer subordinates in ten days.
That would be of great help for his appointment as the leader of the Great Xia Alliance.
The other Challenger-level Beast Tamers would also improve a lot by using the Sacrifice Spell, so they should not be underestimated either.
In the world of the Tree of World, Qin Yun was puzzled when she had seen the Challenger-level Beast Tamers Ye Xuan had taken in.
She did not even dare breathe loudly.
She had no idea what was happening.
How come so many Challenger-level Beast Tamers had suddenly entered this world of Ye Xuan?
And they were from various clans.
There were even Beast Tamers from the Silver Blood Alliance and the Alliance of Ten Thousand Planets.
However, those Challenger-level Beast Tamers only glanced at her. They did not say anything to her.
Then they started to cultivate the Sacrifice Spell.
They had guessed the Xia must have mastered some secret method since so many people of the Xia had suddenly improved a lot.
By then, they finally knew what the secret was.
They learned about this secret at great cost.
But the fact that they had achieved the Challenger level meant they were all smart people.
They knew they could do nothing about the current situation.
The only thing they could change was their strengths.
The stronger they were, the more useful they would be to Ye Xuan.
And the less likely that Ye Xuan would use them as cannon fodders.
Like before, the two Beast Tamers on the low Challenger level from the other two alliances were sent back to their clans by Ye Xuan.
Apparently, he wanted them to be his spies.
Ye Xuan probably would ask the two to help him deploy transmission formations when he was about to deal with the two alliances in the future.
That task would not be easy at all.
Pah!
Nine colors showed up. The air cracked like a piece of glass. The Tree of World traveled through the void with Ye Xuan. They approached a giant beast lying on its stomach on the ground, which looked like a black mountain.
It was a giant Challenger-level beast.
It looked like a rhino.
Its horns pointing at the sky were both ten-odd meters long. They were dark and sharp, shining with a freezing luster.

Not far from it, there was a broken stele giving off a pale dark light on the ground.
The stele was in a state of decay, and the writing on it was almost unrecognizable.
But it was a treasure according to the Tidal Treasure Snail.
“Kill it!”
After showing up before the giant Challenger-level beast, Ye Xuan waved his hand to call out three Challenger-level Beast Tamers right away.
The three Challenger-level Beast Tamers called their beasts out as soon as they showed up. And they launched an attack against the dreadful giant beast that looked like a rhino.
Roar!
Its deafening roars shook the world, the mountain, the forest, and the ground.
The giant Challenger-level beast was super strong.
However, under the three Challenger-level Beast Tamers’ attacks, it only managed to persist ten-odd seconds. Then it was killed.
Its giant body fell to the ground with a bang like a collapsing mountain.
This relic was located in a Challenger-level area.
In this relic, a few Challenger-level Beast Tamers could defeat everything there through collaboration if nothing special arose.

Certainly, sometimes they could enter a habitat where more Challenger-level monsters were living.
But Ye Xuan had even more subordinates.
Whoosh!
Seeing the rhino-like monster dead, Ye Xuan waved his hand to take its giant dead body together with the stele not far away from it.
The corpse of a Challenger-level monster was quite valuable.
He could hardly deal with Challenger-level monsters if he did not resort to the Level-Up Gate. That was why he had always tried to avoid them whenever he saw them earlier.
All he had done was take the treasures they were guarding.
However, at the moment, he had got dozens of Challenger-level Beast Tamer subordinates, so he certainly did not have to avoid those monsters like before anymore.
He only needed to take care of the trip and treasure seeking in the current stage.
As to the other things, he could leave them to his subordinates.
He did not have to fight himself at all.
Roar!
The Seal Beast was struggling in Ye Xuan’s arms. It did not like Ye Xuan’s petting at all.
What habit is that?
I am the Seal Beast.
I’m already not very happy to be your beast. Just stop petting me all day.
That look of the Seal Beast made Ye Xuan more fond of it. He could not help but stroke its smooth soft hair.
This little guy was like a white kitten. It was so adorable.
And it did not have to stay in its Beast Lair all day because it had a special skill.
It had exerted its sealing technique after entering its Beast Lair.
In this way, it had sealed a lot of divine spirit energy in its Beast Lair into some white shining balls and swallowed them.
It had not even finished refining the divine spirit energy in one of those white shining balls yet by then.
“There are no more treasures in this relic…”
In the blink of an eye, Ye Xuan had been in the relic for more than two days.
He had not done much during the past two days.
All he had done was looking for treasures.
Besides that, he had also used the Seal Beast to enslave some Challenger-level Beast Tamers from the two alliances that had recently arrived at the relic and some others from neutral clans.
He had chosen from the newly arrived Challenger-level Beast Tamers the ones he wanted to enslave.
And he had only picked out those on the peak Challenger level.
Those people would achieve the Legend level very soon once they cultivated the Sacrifice Spell.
However, there were not many of them.
He only found four in the past two days.
The four plus the five he had enslaved earlier, there were only nine in all.
And for some unknown reason, the Challenger-level Beast Tamers from the two alliances that came to this relic were fewer and fewer in the past two days.
There were more Challenger-level Beast Tamers from the Great Xia Alliance or other clans.
That made Ye Xuan a little surprised.
He wondered what was happening to the two alliances.
As to the two Challenger-level Beast Tamers from the two alliances he had released, they could not send him any messages for the long distance.
The Seal Beast could only read their minds when they were close enough.
When they were far away, it could only detect whether they were holding malevolence toward it.
That was all it could sense.
However, Ye Xuan did not mind it at all.
Those were trivial matters for him at the moment.
“Three days have passed. It’s time to go back to the Cerulean Planet.”
He strolled around a little more in the relic and then left from the entrance.
He went back to the Master-level area.
When he had been back to the Master-level area, he shifted his consciousness and found he could return to the Cerulean Planet from the Ancient God Plains already.
“Return!”

Black Blood (Dropped...)
The multiverse is a big place, and it is also constantly in flux. As such sometimes mistakes occur, impossibilities that should have never come into existence. An aspect of corruption born naturally of a mortal and a divine, a Void that is a singularity instead of a duality, a being that came to be before existence ever was, a forgotten that is not damned, the possibilities are infinite and limitless, and thus so are the possible mistakes in this grand multiverse. But are not mistakes more entertaining to watch? When being reincarnated there are some things that you just cant control. Losing most of your memories is not a great start. Pissing off your patron goddess is not a good follow up. Rounding that out with reincarnating as something not exactly… human… Needless to say this guy is in for an interesting life. the gaang and the fandom
Main cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender react to stuff on the internet about them and their futures. Hilarity ensues. And it's nothing serious. (Most of the time)Kataang, as always.Suggestions are always welcome because I need ideas and I have school.-Why does this remind me of those gacha life avatar videos on Youtube hsihidfvjfbvireuhfnibrahahjajakdnfjnkIt's also pretty funny, because now I see a bunch of similar fics pop up on here - and it's sort of cool to think I created a trend, not to sound too full of myself. The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
