Although it had pained him, after giving it some more thought, Locke had finally come to terms with the materials’ prices. After all, it would raise Infinite Fire Element’s level by an entire stage!

This was a hurdle that not many people would be able to overcome!

In order to improve his offensive prowess on the battlefield, Locke had to do this.

“Just these three materials. Don’t get the quantity wrong. I’ll send you the address.”

After hanging up, Locke checked his bank account. There was only a little over a million federal coins left!

The duel was set to start at 9.30 a.m.

Her eyes were full of malice, and she even gave a taunting glance at the judge, Helmer, who tried to punish her the other day.

Realizing what had happened, Helmer’s vein bulged, but he still carried out his duties professionally. “Both sides, get ready! The match will begin in five minutes!”

Alexander and the other underlings surrounded Adrian and massaged his legs.

Locke also did some warm-ups.

“Both sides can summon their Battle Beasts now!” Helmer signaled to the two contestants one minute in advance.

The two walked into the ring. Adrian had an evil smile on his face. “Today, you will learn the consequences of crossing the White family…”

Locke was baffled.

Locke was still clueless as to how he had incited their hatred towards him.

However, he was too lazy to think about it!

He only wanted to become stronger! He wanted to become the strongest existence in the entire continent!

Adrian was merely a stepping stone for his Battle Beasts to become stronger!

He had to trample him under his feet!

Locke’s thoughts were simple and straightforward.

Two Battle Beasts appeared beside Adrian.

From the light that was emitted during their summoning, it was clear that they were orange-quality Battle Beasts!

“It’s the Brutal Crocodile and the Golden-armored Baboon!”

“They were the ones who crippled one of my Battle Beasts…”

Two students seemed to have recalled their painful experience.

The Golden-armored Baboon was abnormally violent. It bared its sharp fangs and used its thick fists to hammer the ground!

The strength was so great that some of the students outside the ring almost tripped.

In comparison, Brutal Crocodile was much quieter. Although it was big, it did not move at all.

Its eyes were fixed on Locke, however.

It was as if it was sizing up its meal.

Adrian looked at Locke and stretched out two fingers. “Your legs! I want both your legs! Of course! I also want your Battle Beasts’ lives!”

His hatred for Locke was already hard to resolve.

Not only was he willing to break the rules, he was even putting his authority at stake!

It was one thing for him to be in the limelight everywhere, but it had come at the cost of suppressing his sister’s. In Adrian’s point of view, Locke’s actions were absolutely unforgiveable!

“Don’t go too far! Harming a Beastmaster or killing Battle Beasts is against our school’s rules!” Helmer knew that this young master had always been one who forewent the rules, but as the judge, he had to explain the consequences.

“Just focus on yourself, you busybody! Oh… I forgot to mention this, but Director Charles will kick you out tomorrow! Please cherish your last stage…”

Outrage! A mere student was trying to manipulate the academy’s staff appointments!

Helmer was not the only one who was seething with rage, even the students watching were enraged.

“Sir! I want to ask a question…”Locke looked at Helmer and continued, “If he wants to take my life and kill my Battle Beasts, may I retaliate in full?”

Helmer recalled the training content Diana had given them. Then, he nodded firmly and said, “Of course! It’s legal! Absolutely legal!”

After receiving this guarantee, Locke’s expression darkened. Three Battle Beasts appeared around him in the blink of an eye.

“Hahaha! Alright! Then I’ll tell you directly! I really want to take your life! But that’ll be letting you off easy! It’s better if you’re disabled! If that’s the case, you’d be better off dead!” Adrian’s face was filled with sinister joy, and his Battle Beasts had become rowdy as well.

Such a situation showed that Adrian had achieved a certain level of affinity with his Battle Beasts. It was one of the tell-tale signs of powerhouses!
