Chapter 125: 125
Chapter 125: Locke’s Rage
As the civilians began to retreat, a smug smile appeared on the commissioner’s face.
Just as he was about to usher them to leave even faster, a sudden gust of wind besieged him!
“Who… Who are you?”
The commissioner subconsciously took two steps back upon the arrival of a young man.
The police officer behind him also raised his gun and aimed it at Locke.
Locke opened his palms, and two metal bullets dropped onto the ground.
They were the two bullets that the commissioner had shot into the sky earlier!
“Damn, he can catch bullets?”
“It’s a Beastmaster! It’s a Beastmaster!”
“Whose side is he on?”
For the past two days, Locke was not wearing his school uniform, and as such, it was difficult to tell which side he was on.
After a moment of shock, the commissioner immediately put away his pistol. He knew that the weapon was useless against Beastmasters.
He smiled and asked, “Excuse me, are you from the Frank family? has the issue with the Academy been resolved?”
Locke was in no mood to talk to them. His gaze soon turned into a glare!
He stretched out his hand and grabbed the commissioner’s collar and stated, “I am a commoner… I am Locke!”
“He’s on our side!”
“That’s him, the student with the three divine Battle Beasts!”
“Long Live Locke!”
“Your parents are locked in the governor’s personal cell! There are other civilians locked up there as well!”
Seeing that the commissioner was about to suffocate, the other police officers immediately fired their guns!
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Locke had caught all four shots with his hand!
Just as they were about to turn around and escape, a two-headed snake with red eyes appeared in front of them.

“Hiss… !”
As Lil’ White were and Locke were telepathically connected, they had coordinated their actions with one another!
Lil’ White’s strong tail immediately sent the policemen flying!
They were launched over a dozen meters away!
“Kill them!” It was the burly man from before. While enduring the pain from his arm, he grabbed a stone from the ground and approached the policemen who had their legs broken!
Policemen who opened fire on innocent civilians were no different from thugs!
They were merely lackeys of the Frank family!
Moreover, with Locke there to defend the civilians, the civilians were no longer afraid and they immediately charged towards the police officers!
“Where are my parents? Who gave the order to lock my parents up…” Locke’s gaze was extremely terrifying, and his words were dripping with killing intent.
The commissioner had already wet his pants, and while trembling, he said, “Spare my life… Spare my life please, oh Lord Beastmaster, the order… Was given by the governor… I don’t know who your parents are, but I can lead you to them…”
“No need…” Locke snapped the commissioner’s neck!
After throwing down the lackey’s corpse…
Locke smashed open the police station’s door.
The loud sound could be heard clearly from the second floor!
The director panicked and asked, “What’s wrong? What happened? Where’s the commissioner?”
A police officer who had watched the scene unfold reported with trembling legs, “Governor! A Beastmaster has barged in! He said he’s looking for his parents! The commissioner has been killed by him!”
The governor raised his eyebrows but did not think much of it. He had seen met many Beastmasters before, after all. With a calm expression, he shouted, “Since he killed the commissioner, he’s a criminal! Quick! Order all the police officers to arrest him! No! Kill him directly!”

“We’re no match for him…”
The governor looked at his secretary. “Deal with him…”
As far as he knew, all the powerful Beastmasters were currently in the Federal Academy. As such, he doubted the intruder was all that powerful.
“Yes, Sir!” The secretary put down the coffee pot and strode off.
…
At this moment, screams could be heard from the first floor of the police station.
Locke did not care whether they were Beastmasters or not. The two-headed snake did not bother to use its offensive skills. Instead, it killed all of the obstacles in its path with a single swipe of its tail!
Lil’ White did not spare a single one of them!
That was because Locke had given it the order, “Kill everyone!”
Just as he was heading up the second floor, the governor’s secretary suddenly appeared.
As Lil’ White was not showing its divine rose gold glow, the Secretary had assumed Locke to be a normal Beastmaster.
He immediately summoned a Forest series Battle Beast and asked, “Who are you? Do you know that the Governor is resting? Let me warn you beforehand, I’m a certified 8-star bronze-tier Beastmaster…”
Before he could finish his words, he realized that a razor sharp, spinning ice wheel was rolling towards him from the side!
In the blink of an eye, the secretary and his Battle Beast had become ice sculptures!
Upon seeing the horrifying scene, the police officers who had just rushed over to support the secretary immediately retreated in panic!
They ran for their lives towards the main door!
However, the moment they went out, what greeted them were countless rocks by the civilians!
Locke walked up the stairs and smashed the ice sculpture with one punch!
After searching around, he finally found the governor who was hiding under a desk, shivering.
He smashed the thick and heavy office desk with one punch and directly pulled the governor up.
“You’re the governor? You’re the one who put my parents in prison? Where are they?” Locke’s eyes were burning with hatred!
“Respected Beastmaster, this is all a misunderstanding. Please listen to my explanation! I didn’t know it was your parents…” The confident look the governor had when he was punishing the citizens disappeared completely.
In its place was a face full of sweat and trembling legs.
“In… In the dungeon…”
Locke frowned. “You actually dared to lock my parents up in a dark dungeon…”
“It’s a misunderstanding… respected Beastmaster, please listen to my explanation…”
Just as he was speaking, Locke’s fist was already thrown out!
Bang!
The fat governor was directly blasted out of the office on the second floor by Locke’s punch!
He suffered a heavy fall, and broke a few ribs in the process!
The citizens who had already subdued the police officers immediately went after the governor.
Although the governor’s eyes were open, he was already dead. Moreover, a large bloody hole had already been blasted open in his chest!
“Oh no, the governor is dead!”
“Is Locke breaking the law?”
“Quick! Let’s bury this guy together!”
“Right! Nobody must know what Locke has done!”

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.

Chasing Darkness
Lilith's first time parachuting at night was a disaster. Fictional Gods clashed before her eyes. Caught in the crossfire, Lilith traveled through Space and Time. Her reality was turned into her favorite childhood game, Pokemon. The beginning of journey shrouded in the Dark. A Pursuit of something Greater. *** Author Notes: As a writer, I enjoy the 'How' and 'Why' thing happen in a story over 'What' happens. This will not, however, diminish plot points in the story. Each Arc will be well thought out. This Fanfic explores what it would be like in a reality where Pokemon exist. Most other Fanfics are based on game or anime logic. I will be taking the point of view of a Progression Fantasy. I will try to update every Weekday at Noon Central. P.S. I do this for fun. As I am an amateur writer, I expect complaints and criticism. Anything other than constructive will be ignored. Well thought out Reviews, please. *I Do NOT own Pokemon in any way, shape or form. *I created the Cover in all its pixilated glory.
