Upon receiving the news, Locke’s parents’ neighbors immediately rushed to their house and knocked on their door anxiously.

Locke dug out his phone and dialed Dickens’ number.

We’re ready!”

The few aunties had already explained the situation to Locke. Since the mob had chosen to stand on the side of the Devil, Locke would show them no mercy!

He refused to cooperate, in spite of the gun pointed at him. Instead, he closed his eyes and waited for his final moment to arrive.

A figure fell from the sky!

He had intercepted the bullet!

While inspecting the bullet in his hand, Locke commented, “You guys are really something else. Those nobles bullied you so much in the past, but I’ve never seen you guys robbing their homes…”

Under the instigation of the two mobsters, everyone else gradually approached Locke.

Locke looked at the judicial officer who had been beaten black and blue. In a flash, Lil’ White appeared on Locke’s shoulder. It then used Spatial Movement to transport the official to safety.

“Kill him!” It was still the same mobster from before. He raised his pistol and aimed at Locke. Unlike his previous shots, however, he fired several shots in quick succession!

The others threw the kitchen knives and rocks at Locke.

Had Locke been an ordinary person, he would most likely have perished.

After putting away the shield, Locke glared coldly at the mobsters and spat, “You guys have a death wish, huh…”
