As Feng Luo was reading through his system log, Mu Zi’s group had been circling around the safe. After attacking the Cerebrate in the safe three more times, they confirmed that it was really dead!
However, the thought of the next step was something that made everyone scowl.
Their original plan was to get the Cerebrate out of the safe so that they could easily carry it around with them outside. However, that plan was no longer feasible because after Feng Luo woke up from the mental attack of the Cerebrate, the Commander Grade Steel Beetle, “Steel One,” was no longer moving.
The Cerebrate’s mental attack hit all of the creatures inside the lab, and the Steel Beetle that had the ability to destroy the safe had probably made the Cerebrate feel threatened. Therefore, the Cerebrate had unleashed a more ferocious attack to defend itself!
Although the Commander Grade Steel Beetle had no external injuries on its body, it showed no signs of being alive.
The screen of Mu Zi’s recon meter showed that its brain, which was hidden under its tough shell, had been blown to bits!
This revelation affected Feng Luo’s mood negatively.
“Steel One” was the highest leveled beetle among all of the Commander Grade Steel Beetles.
Compared to Elite Grade Steel Beetles, Commander Grade Steel Beetles were capable of surviving through considerable damage due to them possessing energy shields.
In terms of battle strength, this Commander Grade Steel Beetle might even be stronger than top-class players that are not equipped with Legendary Grade items!
However, before more than five days could pass since its development, and after only making one appearance on the Devil Tri-Horn Fog Island, it was already dead.
Also, there was the tragic condition of 24K. So, it was natural for Feng Luo to feel sad and anguished.

With 24K currently unconscious, no matter how good and powerful Feng Luo was, he had no way of directly communicating with the beetle soldiers. Therefore, he would not be able to instruct them to perform specific actions.
“What do we do? This safe is just too sturdy. My armor-breaking skills have been completely useless. My sword’s destruction coefficient is C-Grade, but it did not even leave any mark on its surface!”
Boss Meng raised his beloved golden sword, which was as broad as a door, in the air. With his large body that weighed over 300 pounds, he waved and swung his large alloy sword at the safe. The result? He was pushed back by the recoil of his swing after hitting the safe. He did not manage to deal any sort of destructive damage to it at all!
As such, he could only look at the people from the Nightless Club with a resigned expression.
“Nothing seems to be damaging it, so we will have to move the safe with us outside. Although a few places outside will not be easy to bypass, we should be able to dig through the walls!” said Rose Thorns with a frown.

Little Witch even used her energy to create flames and directed them towards the safe, hoping they would burn it. However, it was apparent that the safe was made with fireproof material. Just before she raised the temperature of the flames, Mu Zi ordered her to stop because the closed-off lab actually had a high concentration of oxygen. If she were to continue trying to burn the safe a little while longer, everyone might have suffocated.
Although they tried various methods of destroying the safe, it appeared to be indestructible.
Since Feng Luo had retracted the unconscious 24K and was now standing silently beside the corpse of the Steel Beetle, some of the others guessed that Feng Luo was not in a good mood.
