Chapter 896: 896
Chapter 896: The Strength of Foreign Elites
Hanago and Do Jin’s strength surpassed Dream Clouds’ imagination, but their conversation caused Dream Clouds to frown slightly . Forget about the fact that they had been testing each other’s strength up to this point, they even mentioned the fact that they had been flaunting their strength, and they had even been lavishing praises on each other . It was clear that they did this to show up Class One Hall .
Dream Clouds said nothing about this .
While Class One Hall did indeed not have any elites who can intimidate Hanago and Do Jin, they were still the second strongest sect in the Chinese server, and they were not so weak that they will let two players from two small countries act so preposterously .
But when she remembered that she had a request to make to the duo, Dream Clouds’ expression returned to normal, and she continued watching the fight .
Hanago and Do Jin were sincere in their praises for each other, and their strength was also real . They did indeed possess strength that placed them among the top of the International Influential Rank of the Strong .
One of them had peerless sword will, and he was a strong player who was great at using Bright Sword Technique!
The other was a swordsman who could remain calm in the face of Bright Sword Technique and Do Jin’s powerful sword will and remain safe in the end .
However, their test of each other’s strength came to an end .
Gradually, they began to bring out their full strength .
The temperature in the entire martial arts hall fell by a large degree .
“HAH!”
Whoosh! Whoosh!
The waves of sword qi in the martial arts hall grew denser and faster, and they were mixed with Do Jin’s furious shouts . “Hanago, hurry up and draw your katana! If you don’t, you’ll die under my sword!”
“I don’t need the likes of you worrying about me . ” Hanaga retorted without showing any hints of weakness whatsoever . ‘If you’re truly skilled, then force me to draw my katana . ”
He was still able to tell that Do Jin was wary of his katana, which was still sheathed . That was why he still preserved some strength .
At this point of the fight, they were already able to see through what their enemy relied on for strength and their weaknesses .
Do Jin’s weakness was that he was afraid of opponents who can withstand his attacks no matter how he attacked, like Hanago . Hanago did not reveal any sort of openings . It was very difficult for Do Jin to kill him .
And Hanago also knew of his own weakness, and Do Jin also knew about it .

The moment when he drew his katana, he will be at his most threatening .
But if he cannot kill his enemy in one go, he will not be able to win against Do Jin, because he will end up fighting in a war of attrition against him . Hence, if he carelessly drew his katana, he will lose .
Each had ulterior motives in their hearts, and it allowed the people from Class One Hall to see something exciting!
The martial arts hall had become the stage for Do Jin to display his word technique . The endless sword qi created slicing sounds in the air while he moved about lightly . His sword moved lightly and fiercely, and the sword qi left behind marks that were as deep as four inches now on the graphite . It was like a moving snake that chased after Hanago madly .
When Evil Wolf noticed this detail, he sucked in a sharp breath, and he finally understood the difference between himself and an international elite .
If those sword slashes cut into a normal elite, that person will be cut open along with his armor .
‘I wonder who will be stronger if Happy and Do Jin fought . ’
Sword qi flew about freely in the martial arts hall .
Dream Clouds’ face was filled with delight, and her thoughts began to fly .
She had already drawn Asura—one of the elites on the International Great People Rank—over to her side with a lot of money, and Snake King, who had some connections with Barren Murderer, had decided to come over to help . With the help from the elites from Dragon Sect, they will no longer have a problem in fighting against Mu Clan .
But Hanago and Do Jin were unexpected rewards .
Besides, the stronger they were, the more beneficial it will be for her .
Perhaps she might have a great advantage in fighting against Mu Clan because she will gain the help from another two great players . Because as of right now, Do Jin and Hanago absolutely had the power to fight against Happy and One Emperor .
Even though Happy had already learned a lot of powerful and astonishing ultimate techniques and martial arts from various Myth Realm martial artists, the Prophet had already revealed a secret to her beforehand .
Even though Nine Yang Divine Skill was very good in helping someone steal abilities, the person will still need some time to ponder over the martial art he learned before he can bring out its greatest effect .
The more martial arts Happy stole, the more time he will need to mull over it and understand the moves . The most fatal part about it was that the stronger the attack was, the more qi he will need to use . And the martial arts he stole will not help him increase his qi .

With all this transpiring, Happy will end up practicing too many martial arts that will just waste his time, and it can be said that he will be learning completely useless things, and he will be wasting a lot of time . Moreover, the further he got into the game, the more useless those skills will be .
With Hanago and Do Jin joining her side, the days where Mu Clan remained invincible will come to a complete end .
She did not care whether a victor will eventually be decided among Hanago and Do Jin .
In fact, she wished that they will end in a draw so that they will not end up having their relationship turn completely bad .
But at that moment…
Hurried and disorderly footsteps rose from the left side of the corridor to the martial arts hall . Dream Clouds was slightly shocked . Before she can make the person shut up, Monk with Thick Eyebrows’ tense, anxious, and loud voice crept into everyone’s ears . “Hall master!”
Quite a number of people turned their heads around, and they saw Monk with Thick Eyebrows hastily bring a group of people surge over, and he looked as if there was imminent danger behind him .
“What’s wrong?”
Dream Clouds might be worried that Monk with Thick Eyebrows’ entrance will cause the duo fighting in the hall to be displeased, but she also knew that under her management, unless something major happened, Monk with Thick Eyebrows will not rush to this place so tactlessly and rudely .
“Aru City’s branch is in trouble!”
Monk with Thick Eyebrows’ words not only gave the Class One Hall members a warning blow that snapped them out of their sense of safety, it also made Dream Clouds’ heart let out a thump . Her expression instantly changed before she quickly demanded for answer, “I didn’t receive any messenger pigeons telling me of any emergency . ”
When a branch was attacked, as the hall master, it was impossible for Dream Clouds to not receive any black messenger pigeons warning her of an emergency, but she soon thought of another possibility .
Her enemies only killed her members within the branch region . If they attacked outside the city, no black messenger pigeons will be issued as well, and it will even end up causing the effect of locking down the flow of information to her .
“Did Mu Clan do it?!” Dream Clouds asked anything unnecessary .
Monk with Thick Eyebrows walked quickly to Dream Clouds’ side and nodded hastily . He answered, “All the people in Aru City are being attacked by Mu Clan and more than two hundred people died . Aside from this, there’s also the Town of Kui, Kuo Ma City, and Barbican being attacked—”
“Kuo Ma City and Barbican?”
Dream Clouds’ expression changed .
“It’s the same as Aru City?”
“That’s right . The losses at the Town of Kui is the worst . None of the four hundred people fled, and all of them died . There’re dozens of idiots to tried to attack the Mu Clan members in the town, but in the end, they were captured and sent to the prison . But the most number of people who died is in Kuo Ma City . ”
Dream Clouds fell silent . She scowled, and while her eyes sparkled, she quickly thought about things .
She can understand why Mu Clan attacked the Town of Kui, because the town is in a path they will definitely need to take when they headed to the shore . If they wanted to break out of Class One Hall’s encirclement, their fastest path was to take the sea path . However, she had already set up three lock downs behind the Town of Kui, and even if she lost the town, it was fine .
There was no need to even mention why Aru City fell . It was the branch that was the closest to the plains, and it was also Class One Hall’s eyes . It was normal for it to fall .
But it was different for Barbican . Not only was it near Beijing, it had a lot of resources . It was completely off the path that will lead to the shore, and it was also very far away from Aru City . Why was it attacked?
What puzzled her the most was that Kuo Ma City was located to the south of Beijing, and it can be considered a core region for Class One Hall . It had the fewest number of people stationed there as guards, and there were seven to eight ore mines over there . It served as Class One Hall’s money generator .
Mu Clan had extended four hands at the same time .
It was clear that this was an operation with a diabolical scheme behind it .
But what baffled Dream Clouds was that the four cities were located in four different spots, and she cannot determine just what was Happy’s goal in a short moment .
At this moment, Hanago and Do Jin had already stopped fighting against each other because they noticed what had happened over at Dream Clouds’ side .

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
