Chapter 755: 755
It was rare for Seventh Tribulation Eminences and half-step Seventh Tribulation Eminences to rush over to Three Bay River System’s Thousand Mountain Star.
“I never expected a mighty existence like City Lord Eastcalm to appear in our era.” The black stone golem, Guild Master Darkstar, had a proud look on his face as he sighed. “He’s already an Eighth Tribulation Eminence. As long as he transcends the tribulation successfully, he will be affecting the entire River of Spacetime for countless generations to come.”
“Darkstar, I really admire you,” said Manor Lord Centaurea with a smile. “You are flexible. You offended City Lord Eastcalm back then, yet you obtained his forgiveness.”
“That’s because City Lord Eastcalm is benevolent.” Darkstar thought nothing of it. What was there to be ashamed of by humbly begging City Lord Eastcalm for forgiveness?
That was an Eighth Tribulation Eminence! It wouldn’t be easy for Seventh Tribulation Eminences to meet him in the future.
“City Lord Eastcalm is extremely talented. It’s our era’s blessing to have him appear in this era,” said Yellow-Robed Academy Lord with a smile.
Dozens of Seventh Tribulation Eminences and half-step Seventh Tribulation Eminences had gathered in this void.
Outsiders couldn’t go to White Avian Hall without permission. Therefore, all the Eminences came to Thousand Mountain Star directly!
Thousand Mountain Star was City Lord Eastcalm’s publicly known cave abode. Even if City Lord Eastcalm wasn’t around for the time being, City Lord Eastcalm could naturally sense their arrival at his realm.
If he wanted to meet them, he would naturally summon them. If he didn’t want to meet them, they could only leave.
“Fiend Eye is here.”
The Eminences saw Fiend Eye—who was like a meatball—walk through the void with his short legs; he couldn’t hide his smile.
Everyone knew that Fiend Eye and City Lord Eastcalm had an extraordinary relationship. At that moment, they were filled with envy and jealousy.
“Look at how smug Fiend Eye is.”
“He was lucky to meet City Lord Eastcalm when he was weak.”
“Realm Ancestor is the same. I heard that he managed to fish City Lord Eastcalm before City Lord Eastcalm reached the Sixth Tribulation realm and formed an affinity with him.”
The Eminences discussed.
“Our luck isn’t bad either. City Lord Eastcalm is from the same generation as us, and we can be considered as having some ties with him. In the future, it will be countless times harder for those juniors to meet an Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation Eminence.” These Eminences knew very well that it was fate to have someone from the same generation reach the Eighth Tribulation realm.
They naturally had to grasp the opportunity. Although City Lord Eastcalm had yet to transcend the tribulation, it was precisely because he hadn’t transcended the tribulation that the probability of meeting him was higher.
Sucking up to Meng Chuan would be too late if they waited until Meng Chuan transcended the tribulation.

Hum!
Spacetime distorted.
Dozens of Eminences saw a spacetime tunnel appear in front of them—it led deep into Thousand Mountain Star.
“Let’s go.”
“Let’s rush over to pay our respects.” The Eminences flew over together, but they naturally separated after flying through the spacetime tunnel.
Manor Lord Centaurea could no longer see his companions. He flew through the spacetime tunnel and arrived at a garden.
A black-robed, white-haired man was sitting there and reading a book.
“Greetings, City Lord Eastcalm,” said Manor Lord Centaurea while bowing. He was extremely humble because he felt his mind sway when he saw Meng Chuan. It was difficult for him to control himself, and this was under the circumstances of Meng Chuan not deliberately using any moves. If he had used any moves, a Seventh Tribulation Eminence’s mind would’ve been warped. They would’ve obediently allowed him to control them.
“Manor Lord Centaurea.” Meng Chuan smiled at him.
“I heard that City Lord Eastcalm has become an Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation Eminence and is about to face the Heavenly Tribulation. I am lucky to be in the same era as City Lord Eastcalm; it’s also my good fortune. I once obtained an Essence Soul lineage treasure and specially came to offer it to City Lord. I wish you success in transcending the tribulation.” With a flip of his hand, an illusory book appeared in front of him.
This was Manor Lord Centaurea’s greatest treasure he chanced upon. But now, he offered it without any hesitation!
If Meng Chuan succeeded in transcending the tribulation, he probably wouldn’t think much of this treasure. If he were to offer it before transcending the tribulation, the karma generated would be immense. Even if it didn’t help much, Meng Chuan probably wouldn’t reject a treasure before transcending the tribulation.
“Oh?” When Meng Chuan saw the illusory book, he vaguely felt that it was extraordinary.
The book flew to Meng Chuan, and he reached out to take it.
After a slight scan—
This is? Meng Chuan was rather surprised. He didn’t think much of the book, but he never expected to encounter a huge surprise.
Although Manor Lord Centaurea’s treasure wasn’t comparable to an Eternal treasure, it wasn’t inferior to legacy treasures like Black Fiend Hall and Nightmare Hall. To Meng Chuan, this treasure was even more important.
Book of the World. Meng Chuan looked at the book.
This book was called ‘Book of the World.’ As long as one’s realm was high enough and could set the rules, the treasure would transform into an illusory world according to the rules.
The more detailed and perfect the laws were, the more powerful the illusory world would be.
Although it’s only a simulated illusory world and unlike a real universe, creating a real universe requires one to be at the limits of the Eighth Tribulation realm. The evolution of the universe takes a long time. As for this illusory world… since it’s illusory, one can easily adjust the time flow within it. This treasure isn’t as valuable as an Eternal treasure, but it surpasses Meng Sha Realm’s treasures. Meng Chuan never expected to receive such a huge gift when meeting the Eminences of his generation.

“This gift of yours is really nice.” Meng Chuan looked at Centaurea Manor Lord.
Manor Lord Centaurea smiled and said, “It’s impossible to use such a treasure with my low strength. Only when one is at a higher realm can a superior illusory world be produced. This treasure can only be of use in your hands, City Lord Eastcalm.”
“What do you want?” asked Meng Chuan.
“A chance to transcend and become an Eighth Tribulation Eminence.” Manor Lord Centaurea looked at Meng Chuan.
He had offered his most precious treasure in exchange for an opportunity.
This was because he was destined to inch toward death if he didn’t receive any special opportunities after cultivating to his level.
He knew… that there were all sorts of possibilities in the endless spacetime. An Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation Eminence could still find a chance to help him.
Meng Chuan looked at the book in his hand and said, “I can’t promise you that, but I’ll do my best to help you if I transcend the tribulation successfully.”
“City Lord, this promise is enough.” Manor Lord Centaurea knew very well that he couldn’t seek the help of a true Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation Eminence with this treasure. He couldn’t even meet them.
Meng Chuan only gave such a promise before transcending the tribulation.
Even if it was just a chance to reach the Eighth Tribulation realm, it wasn’t something easily obtainable.
…
With a thought, Meng Chuan formed an illusory world. At the same time, he met many Seventh Tribulation Eminences and half-step Seventh Tribulation Eminences. Of course, he only met them as embodiments.
Book of the World. Meng Chuan sighed in amazement.
When Eminences from the same era visited, all of them offered gifts.
The only thing that truly amazed Meng Chuan was the book. With his current insights, he didn’t think much of the other treasures. All he could do was store them in Archean Eon Realm and enrichen its heritage.
Since he was willing to accept them, it meant that they had a connection.
After all, they were Eminences from the same era. Meng Chuan still had to cut them some slack.
…
While Meng Chuan received the various Eminences of the same era on Thousand Mountain Star, in an area in his home universe—
Whoosh.
A tall, thin figure with two curved horns appeared in this area. He looked at Meng Chuan—who was receiving all the Eminences on Thousand Mountain Star.
“Black Fiend.” A voice sounded.
The lanky figure frowned slightly. He looked up and saw a dragon-headed elder dressed in a gorgeous black robe appear.
The dragon-headed elder’s eyes were vast, and his aura affected the surrounding laws. The laws in his home universe had been forced to retreat. The place he was in had become his territory in the absolute sense.
“Dragon Ancestor.” Black Fiend Progenitor was extremely arrogant, but he respected Dragon Ancestor greatly.
“Don’t meet Meng Chuan before he transcends the tribulation,” said Dragon Ancestor calmly.
“Even I can’t meet him?” Black Fiend Progenitor said in surprise.
“No.” Dragon Ancestor nodded. “You are too bold.”
“Dragon Ancestor, you’ve overestimated me. He has an Eternal backing him. How would I dare to play any tricks?” said Black Fiend Progenitor with a smile. “I can’t deal with Meng Chuan even if I wanted to.”
“Although you can’t kill him, you will threaten his tribulation as long as you affect his mental state slightly,” said Dragon Ancestor coldly. “Furthermore, he won’t take an Eternal as his master before reaching the Eighth Tribulation realm. Without establishing the master-disciple relationship… I know that you will dare to do anything with your guts.”
“He’s an Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation Eminence. His willpower is extraordinary; that’s what he’s best at. Even if I use all my means, I can only affect him slightly. Perhaps he can benefit from a disaster and have his willpower improve,” said Black Fiend Progenitor with a smile.
Dragon Ancestor only looked at him.
“Alright, alright, alright. I’ll listen to you; I won’t meet him.” Black Fiend Progenitor knew Dragon Ancestor’s personality very well. He asked, “Do you think so highly of him?”
“He reached the Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation realm in just over 30,000 years. In the endless spacetime, he’s considered above average among Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation Eminences,” said Dragon Ancestor indifferently. “He is also an Eternal’s disciple. You should understand how important he is to an Eighth Tribulation faction in our home universe.”
Black Fiend Progenitor fell silent.
Of course, he knew. However, City Lord Eastcalm hated his Black Fiend Hall very much. Meng Chuan’s abhorrence of evil made him stand at odds with Black Fiend Progenitor.
To have him turn over a new leaf? Turning over a new leaf was a denial of his cultivation path.
“Alright.” Black Fiend Progenitor smiled and said, “If he transcends the tribulation successfully, I’ll break up Black Fiend Hall. But Dragon Ancestor, you should know how difficult the eighth Essence Soul Tribulation is. Do you think he can transcend it?”
Dragon Ancestor looked at him without saying a word.
In fact, Dragon Ancestor wasn’t confident—the Essence Soul Tribulation was difficult. But at this critical moment, he didn’t allow any Eighth Tribulation Eminences to cause trouble. He wanted to ensure that Meng Chuan didn’t suffer any interference as he transcended the tribulation.
“After he transcends the tribulation, I’ll leave this universe completely. To be honest… the chances of our universe producing an Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation Eminence and an Eternal’s disciple at that are too low.” Black Fiend Progenitor smiled as his figure dissipated.
