Chapter 262
Chapter 262 Roaring Blaze Tiger Warrior
“What happened?”
The list of Players who died were flooding the System page when Edward finally arrived at the scene . Although most of them were revived by the Clerics, there were still quite a number of them lost .
“We were pushing in when the ground suddenly blew up!” Joe, whose HP was now red had temporarily pulled back to the rear, allowing a healer to restore him while he explained the situation to the confused Edward between gasps . “There’s a basement beneath, and there has to be a super macho Boss hidden inside!”
“How macho?” Edward asked, curious .
After all, Joe’s illogical body ratio was definitely exceedingly ripped even for normal Players, just his behavior was a perfect reflection of his masculinity-reckless and straightforward .
Therefore, Joe didn’t consider most physically strong creatures to be ‘macho’, but at best ‘strong’ or effeminate .
As such, any Boss he would declare to be super macho must be beyond imagination .
“How macho, huh…” Joe searched his mind for the right description, when a Swordmaster Player was sent screaming and flying through the air .
His butt was on fire as he streaked in a perfect hyperbola curve before crashing into a house, which looked sturdy before but looked about to crumble now .
Several Clerics who had yet to change class quickly ran up, dragging the Swordmaster Player out of the debris and took turns to beat him up with their war hammer to heal him .
As a matter of fact, healing was possible just by singing a song and waving the war hammer in front of him, but the movements were complex and was time-consuming, which was why the painful yet efficient method was preferred .
While the Swordmaster screamed ‘I’m fine! I’ll drink a potion for the rest! Damn it, you almost knocked my teeth off’, Joe turned to Edward and said, “That much macho . ”

Edward nodded in understanding .

Soon, the formation which the Players had assumed were complete crumbling in the face of that super macho Boss, and Edward finally saw for himself what he looked like .
First and foremost, he was a Tigerman .
But it was unlike any other Tigermen, who only had a tiger’s head while the rest of their body was more resembling of humans (a trait most nonhumans shared, which make them identical humans save for their beastlike features and in turn categorized them as non-demons) . From the bone structure and physical structure, this Tigerman would resemble an actual tiger that was walking on tow legs, and its muscles were almost bursting out from every part of his body as if it was a bodybuilder—the kind of tiger that could kill a cow with a single punch .
Moreover, most Tigermen’s fur were a combination of yellow, black and white . This Tigerman, however, was a mix of red and black . Its eyes which glinted fiercely and frighteningly were amber-colored, and anyone looking into them would have the illusion of being burned .
Its body also palpated extreme temperatures, something which was obvious from how everything seemed to be shimmering . Wood and straws that were an inch too close would self-combust, whereas the footprints that the Tigerman leave in his wake were small craters of magma wells .
There was no doubt that this one was actually a fire-type monster .
Edward looked above his head and found that his name was a shining red .
[Roaring Blaze Tiger Warrior (Elite), level 42]
(Status: Core Meltdown (There is an incomprehensible reaction occurring within the body of this creature, with substantial energy being released in every given moment . The energies would strengthen its physical capabilities while leveling him, a process that could neither end nor reverse and only detonate horrifically when the creature’s heart melts)]
[Status: Conflagration (This creature is palpating extreme heat of almost five thousand Celsius . All fire-type skills would therefore be strengthened exponentially, and even if the skill doesn’t reach its target, a mere brush on the skin by the flame holds a certain chance to get burned)]
(Status: Kindling (This creature is immune to fire-type skills, which only increases its power equal to the power of the skill hitting it)]
And within the split second the Edward took to check the creature’s name and the explanation of the buff in its status bar, it had risen from level 42 to level 43!
Tch! Really super macho!
Edward cursed inwardly-how were they supposed to defeat this one?
The Roaring Blaze Tiger Warrior was now Level 43, making it on par with the first-rate Players . And with the Level 35 Ancient Imperial Wrath Tiger Warrior being able to tear Marni apart with his bare hands, the Roaring Blaze Tiger Warrior who likewise had an elite template just might be able to chase the elite Players into one pile and tear them apart too…
Moreover, it was only Level 43 for the time being . It could keep leveling up from the looks of things .
And that was not all—its body was definitely spreading such horrible extreme heat that the faintest of touch meant serious damage .
Worse still, its buffs almost seemed tailored to counter Edward and other Skyblaze Heralds .
Fire-type skills wouldn’t hurt it but instead buff the creature, just water-type skills would be largely weakened because of class change . Against this Boss, the Skyblaze Heralds just couldn’t do a thing… which includes Edward himself, one who was recognized as the best Player there is .
“Edward, what should we do now?” Joe gulped and asked him quietly .
I want to know that too!
Edward’s heart was fuming in helplessness .
But being the greatest supporter of the God of Games in his church, he soon calmed down, thinking that ‘the God of Games wouldn’t give us an impossible quest’ and began to think about whether there were any hints provided by the System .
Soon, he read between the lines and found the information he wanted .
He then turned to the other players around him and began issuing orders . “Keep it busy! Do everything you can to make it waste its strength! Don’t care about anything else-just stop its level from increasing!”
“Who knows what monster it would become if we don’t keep wasting its strength and it continues to level up! We just last until its core melts down!”
All the other players immediately showed looks of understanding and went up to run interference on the Roaring Blaze Tiger Warrior-only to be punched into the air .
The insurmountable gap in fighting ability left the battlefield a gruesome sight .
Even so, they were not retreating .
It was not stubbornness that took root from their sense of justice or vengeance, nor was it an anime flashback sequence .
Their reason to fight had changed from avenging fellow Players or aiding the Long Ears, and every Player knew clearly what it was .
Such a powerful Boss would definitely drop the good stuff!

Margrave's Divinity (Rewrite)
Power always comes with a price. Seventeen years ago, obsidian towers thousands of feet tall erupted from the earth near the world’s population centers. Strange magic accompanied their appearance—powerful and inexplicable abilities granted to lucky humans, called Embers for the burning in their eyes. Lyle isn’t lucky, though. When the recently-unemployed college dropout finally manages to get his hands on a Cinder, he is utterly disappointed to find that he will never be an Ember like his father or brother. Before he even has time to process his failure, a strange Ember shoves him through a tear in reality and into the cave of a dragon, where the titanic beast claims to be an ancient goddess of myth and legend. She has a gift for him, but it comes with a warning. War is coming. --- Posting Thursdays and Sundays at 8am Central. Confused about the rewrite? See my letter to previous readers here.

Project G00
|Nanopunk |Crafting | Detailed Science and experiments | Inner thoughts | Bio-Robots | Evolution | Infodumps | Tell not Show | Insane to Sane | Slow and Detailed Pace | Puddle to Unknown | Artificial Intelligence | Trans-humanism | Bad Jokes | Moving 'Dungeon' Core | Hi! I am G00. I am a project made by some weirdo. Some may refer to me as the wobbly thing in the fridge or the slimy thing in the ceiling. Others might tell you about that sticky thing inside your nose. In the end, they called me the Seed of Life, yet didn’t tell me what I was supposed to become. Furthermore, it just happens that this stage was the most miserable place to reincarnate... Reincarnate as in… What the hell did I become?! (Whispers) You are a puddle. A puddle? (Whispers) Yes. C’mon little guy, say your lines! You’re live right now! Welcome to puddle-springs aka the afterlife of a puddle. CUT! Eh? Why?! No edition or photoshop needed?! We’re short on puddle-staff. The camera is broken, I am broken, and you are broken. Wait! How can a puddle be broken? You are not a puddle, you are frozen yogurt. NOOOOOOOOOO! Additional summary: Spoiler: Spoiler Humanity has finally made the second step towards space. Many developments were taking place at the time this happened. All of them accomplished thanks to nanotechnology. Inventions regarding Artificial Intelligence and nanorobotics created the opportunity, a way to terraform planets by sending nanorobots to space. Their orders? Colonizing and preparing the new worlds before humanity's arrival, aka terraforming. Meet G00, a weird agglomeration of nanomachines. A bit stupid, but it's not because he was like that. The little guy... 'He' is really broken. The hardest start of a story is when language is oddly misunderstood, when you know nothing of the place you just arrived; when your companion is a buggy system, and when you have to repair yourself with whatever trash you can scavenge from your surroundings. All of this while you fight your worst enemy: potatoes? What will you do in an unfamiliar circumstance where nothing is what it seems and where you won't even understand the boring ramblings of a confused main character? Well, patience will... probably have a reward? Additional tags and disclaimers: Read before starting the story: Harem: Not included for the moment, depends on characters added, votes by readers, and things that happen on the go. Magic: Far away chapters maybe... as part of high level or non-understandable things by science. Slice of life: Probably some parts will include it. Disclaimer #1: Crazy amount of content about high-tech info-dumps, slow pace, starts with biology and nanotechnology. Might have some weird jokes and puns. Game bugs are also possible. Disclaimer #2: No puddles were harmed during the making of this story. No character is real, no real puddle was used as part of the cast. Character is stupid at the start on purpose but he will get beta and beta. All written content follows a logical approach no matter how stupid it appears to be, maybe… Because it’s just a raccoon splashing some cotton-candy over a puddle after it was thrown. Yup, a bully raccoon with rabies or so it seems.

Alternate Worlds
This is actually a group of short stories I did some time ago. The first group are 3 stories, all starring the same Protagonist but with different foes and ways of how the stories play out. Past this I have other story lines that I have done this with and will likely use this heading to put them out there. - Note: The Book Picture is the location of the Portal the car went through. There are 4 such statues set across from each other and then two of the large pillars, set across the street from one another. New Story Line: Lost is about a man lost in a world that Used to have summoned hero's, ones where the mages who did the summonings did not close the pathways properly, so sometimes people from all across time, space, and dimension end up falling in to their world. Some become heroes, some 'Demon Lords' and some something else. I have 3 versions of this story which I will put here, one chapter a day. 2cd version was massively flawed, which I only realized while sharing it. As such I am skipping it and moving on to the 3rd version. The 3rd Story of Lost is about a man who mysteriously fell in to a world based on video games, complete with leveled zones, levels of skills, professions and so forth. Being from a world like ours, with the knowledge of these things, gives him a decided edge and better potential than normal. --------------------------------------- New story - New Life, Old Soul is the story of a man who used desperate experimental magic to grant himself a new life in a new world. This is an Iseki story with a single twist as no outside force dropped or summoned this soul to its new life. Come and see what sort of world and life this willing traveler of Realities unknown experiences. I will try and post once a day, though times may vary depending on my the wierdness that is my life. ^-^ ------------------------------ Cosmic Chaos A Void Maker tried to destroy several realities, by forcing their crystal shells in to each other. The AOs of those realms fought back the best they could, including a desperate play of opening random portals between the divergent universes and the void. Several things, peoples, and animals fell through these portals. In the grand scheme of things very little of this had long reaching consequences. However, Some of these universes gained new time lines from these events. This is a story of one such event, of one very lost traveler dropped in to a very different world than the one he came from. Tags: Isekai, Gender Change (Male to Female), Magic, Drama (lets face it most of my stories have a bit of this in them even when I don't tag them thus, though I don't know how 'Realistic' the characters are.) -------------------------------
