Secret Marriage To Test Compatability : The Wife Is Poisoned Chapter 38

Xu Yi's reply was crisp and clear.
"It doesn't matter."
"Then you can't possibly be fighting each other every opportunity you get only because of me, right?" Fang Qing chuckled and denied it to herself first.
From the way they acted, it was obvious that they had a grudge.
"His sister confessed to me, but I rejected her. Then, she chose to leave the country. There was an accident on her way overseas, and she left," Xu Yi told her the whole story in a few sentences.
Fang Qing immediately understood.
She thought about the words and sighed, "So he's putting the blame on you."
"More or less, but I don't care."
Xu Yi held her hand tightly and pulled her home.
"I'm talking to you. Don't change the topic. Do you know how dangerous meeting that man is?"
Xu Yi suddenly stopped in his tracks with a serious expression. He frowned and said in an unfriendly tone.
Fang Qing nodded again. "I know. I won't do it again."
"Girls have to protect themselves when they're out there. You're already so old, yet you're still letting others worry about you all the time."
Xu Yi said helplessly, but he was only saying it. Fang Qing could still hear the worried tone in his words.
Her heart was filled with warmth. It would be a lie to say that she wasn't touched.
If it weren't for the contract on the bedside table in her room, she would have really thought that she was in a relationship with Xu Yi.
Time passed slowly. It seemed very slow, but in fact, it was also very fast.
In Fang Qing's life, there was only time to draw and rest.
Everything slowed down.
In order to catch up with her progress, she finished the drawing she was preparing. Four days had passed, and she hadn't left her house for the past four days. All she could think about was drawing.

After she finished drawing, she stretched her back in relief.
She opened the chat and sent a message to Fang An.
[ An'an, I'll look for you in the afternoon. Are you free? ]
Fang An: [ Yes, today's practice is scheduled for the morning. You sure know how to pick times. I do happen to be free. ]
Fang Qing curved her lips into a smile.
After making some simple preparations, she headed straight for Fang An's apartment.
"Sister! I've missed you so much! You don't even know how tired I've been from practicing recently!"
Fang An was beaming with joy when she saw Fang Qing.
She started to complain while smiling.
"If you're tired, then reduce the amount of time you spend practicing. Do you know that your body will be unable to take it? You don't want to go back to the hospital either, right?"
When Fang An heard this, she replied seriously, "Aiya, don't worry, sister. Brother-in-law has arranged everything well. I've consulted the doctor about this amount of practice. It's not a problem."
"I see."
"That's right. Sister-in-law is really good. Sister has finally met a good man!" Fang An smiled slyly and came over with a fruit plate in her arms. She then placed it in front of Fang Qing and began to peel the fruit for her sister.
"Train well and seize the opportunity! Mr. Xu Yi is our big benefactor."
Fang Qing sighed with emotion from the bottom of her heart. However, the way she addressed Xu Yi was deliberately said by her.
It was as if she was reminding Fang An, but in fact, she was reminding herself.
She could not fall into it.
Calling her brother-in-law really almost made Fang Qing fall into it.
She couldn't help but recall the scene of them kissing before...

"Sister, what's wrong? Eat an apple." A peeled apple was handed over in front of her. It was already in front of her, yet it was still shaking.
Fang Qing was clearly distracted.
"I don't know what sister is thinking. The smile on the corner of her mouth is splitting to the back of her head," Fang An asked despite knowing the answer.
It made Fang Qing laugh out loud. She took the apple and took a bite.
Fang An chuckled and fell into silence. She just watched Fang Qing eat the apple.
When Fang Qing noticed it, she couldn't help but burst out laughing. "What? It's contagious?"
"No, sister. I want to know if you have money?"
Although Fang Qing was stunned, she still said honestly, "Yes, how much do you want? I'll give it to you."
"I... I want three million."
As soon as she said this, Fang Qing stopped biting the apple, and her smile disappeared from her face.
She looked at him in confusion and asked with concern, "Does the company need so much money?"
How could Fang Qing have so much money? Not to mention three million, she couldn't even fork out 10,000.
It was just a small amount of money. Her studio hadn't been set up yet, so there was no income for her at all.
"No, sister, I need it."
"What do you need it for?"
Fang Qing looked at him patiently, but the grave expression on her face still made Fang An feel very confused.
