Xie Eun left Lawyer Wen's office soon after the trustees decided in her favor.Her 'grandmother' had stared at her with such hatred that Xie Eun felt saddened and hurt by this.Why did she not deserve the same consideration and love as her grand daughter? Xie Eun walked out of the office and got into the car that her husband had arranged for her,leaving the formalities of the transfer in Neil Long's hands. Leaning back in her seat,she quietly stared at the scenery outside,seeing nothing. The car soon reached the underground parking of the Trimaje Apartments. Xie Eun alighted and entered the private elevator that took her to the top floor of the building. Still in a daze,she had yet to even realize that she had been brought back to the place where she had left in the morning,instead of her dorms.

It was only as she had entered the place did she realize what she had done.Turning back,she pressed the button for the elevator but it did not turn up.Frowning,Xie Eun cursed the button and turned back.She wanted to be alone for a while. It was only then she realized that she really was alone in this house.Yes,her husband was a busy man and he would not be sitting at his home waiting for her. Suddenly,she felt curious about her husband's ho,e and looked around curiously. Though he lived here,she could see this place was not homey. The dark furniture looked like it was never used and there were no pictures or even paintings adorning the walls.It was an entirely black and white. She suddenly felt sad for this person,her husband,who lacked color in his home.There was nothing worse than a home that screamed interior designer. As she was looking around,she failed to notice the small coffee table in the corner.In a single misstep,she got her foot stuck and with a small scream fell onto the black leather couch..Her scraped hands and bruised stomach screamed in agony while her poor toe which had been stubbed,throbbed painfully.Unable to move,Xie Eun simply lay there and closed her eyes. She had almost fallen asleep when she heard the sound of a phone ringing throughout the house. Groggily rubbing her eyes, she stared at the ringing phone on the table as if it was alien being or maybe it would stop ringing if she stared hard enough.And it did stop,making her pleased with herself. She was about to fall back on the couch but that thing started to ring again. It was not her home so she could not answer it..But..what if it was something urgent?Maybe she could pretend to be a maid and takena message.So, she picked up the phone and oressed a button before meekly answering with a "hello?"

The voice that greeted her almost made her drop her phone..Her husband really did have a powerful voice...it was...so smooth and deep like honey..shaking away her fanciful thoughts,Xie Eun continued to be meek,"Yes?"

Wolf,on the other end of the phone,felt his lips curve a bit.He had only said,"It's me" and she recognized him.Stopping his lips from curving too much, he answered, "It is already lunch time.Have you eaten anything and have you taken your medicine?"

It was only at the mention of food that Xie Eun realized that she was starving.She had not eaten anything since....since ever!She had taken only small bites last night and then this morning also,she had been in such a hurry she had not even dared to think of food.The aunty in the morning had tried to make her eat but she had been too worried.Just then she heard a small nosie from the other end and realised that her husband was still on the phone so ahe cleared her throat embarassedly and said,"Uhh..I will order some takeout and then have the medicine..."

Wolf shook his head and said,"No need.There is egg congee in the rice cooker and fish head soup in the bowl.They should be hot.Have them and then eat your medicine.."

Xie Eun,having heard that there was food,had already thrown the phone and was running around like a headless chicken looking for the kitchen....
