Wolf woke up with a jerk from a nightmare. He looked around in a panic before he realized that they were in the hospital. So his nightmare really had been true. His eyes fell on the person whose bed was placed beside him. His heart ached as he saw the iv connected to her arm and the way her face was pale as she slept. Who were these people?They were not even scared of the reputation he had made for himself and dared to attack them openly.. It was time to confront that Lu woman and get some answers. Just then,he saw Xie Eun's face change and her forehead crease into a frown. Seeing her like this,he started to get anxious and got up hurriedly. She was his world and he never wanted her to suffer even in her sleep.

Slowly,he tried to get off the bed and almost stumbled. His felt his vision fade and then regain. At this moment,he saw that she was getting even more agitated,so ignoring his dizziness and aching head,he stumbled to her and sat beside her,being careful to not jostle her hand that was attached to the IV. He patted her head and eased the frown lines on her forehead,holding her hand carefully so as to reassure her. Feeling his skin against hers,Xie Eun calmed down even in her unconscious state. She clutched his hand and slowly calmed down,resting peacefully.

This entire scene was observed by Yoo Shiro who stood at the door. He had seen for himself the dependence each of them had for the other. He turned back and went out to get some breakfast for the two people,also leaving them together alone so that they could be with each other.

Xie Eun had been dreaming that she had been separated from Yu Seok. She tried calling out to him in her dream but he kept walking away from her. Suddenly she felt his hand clutch hers and she calmed down,holding onto his hand tightly and slept peacefully.

Seeing her having calmed down,Yu Seok leaned against the bed slowly and closed his eyes the medicine still affecting him. The two people then woke up simultaneously, late in the morning. And as if in sync,the two people first kissed each other hard,reassuring themselves that the other one was fine. After the kiss,they hugged each other would have kept on hugging but for the person standing on the floor who cleared his throat to interrupt the two people.

Light bulb Yoo Shiro wanted to shake his head at these people who were clinging to each other. His brother had no shame! Yoo Shiro walked in and slowly placed the bento boxes on the table. "If you are done filling your stomachs with love,have some breakfast."

With the entrance of Yoo Shiro,the atmosphere turned a little awkward. He looked at the two people on the bed who were starting at him with bewildered and hostile expressions simultaneuously. Realizing the problem,he went to Xie Eun and said,"Sister in law. I owe you an apology!" He extended a box of chocolates from under the bento boxes and stood there sincerely apologizing. Xie Eun was surprised to see the chocolates and then looked at Yoo Shiro in amazement. Wasn't this person just staring at her with loathing until the day before yesterday?What changed so suddenly? She wondered if he was pretending and thus decided to test him. Goading him,she said,"Is this because of the surprise that Wen Shan and I gave you last night?" She had of course known what Wen Shan planned to do and been totally in agreement with the plan.But instead of getting angry,he smiled and said,"It was a rather unpleasant surprise..but this apology is indeed because of last night. You made me realize how much you care for my brother and this made me want to apologize to you. Xie Eun looked at him surprised.It was rare that anyone could give such a sincere apology.Either he was really sincere, or an amazing actor, but looking nto his eyes, she decided to give her brother in law,the benefit of the doubt. And so she accepted the box and the apology.

The three people then shared the breakfast in peace after which the doctor came over to check the wounds. Yu Seok was instructed to rest well for the next few days and pronounced fit to discharge within a day while Xie Eun was to stay in the hospital longer. Naturally, Yu Seok would not get a discharge until his wife was also discharged..using the time that the doctor took to check Xie Eun,Yu Seok questioned Yoo Shiro about the people who had attacked them.

Yoo Shiro looked att he empty cafeteria they sat in and then stared at his brother carefully,"Yu Seok,do you remember nothing of the time we were kidnapped?"

Yu Seok paused and thoughtfully stared at the man before revealing,"I do remember some things..But I am not too sure if it is a memory or some sort of a lie made up by my mind.."

Though Yu Seok did not state anything clearly,he could see the doubts in Yu Seok's eyes so instead of asking him what memory he had,he started to tell him about the worst memory he had from those days,the one he had never told anyone about.

"My biggest memory of that time is when that men brought us together. You don't remember but even though we were kidnapped together, we were held separately. The rat bast*** knew that if we were together we would escape but if we were kept apart,we would not leave the other behind. When he brought us together,I though I would talk to you and we would be able to plan something. But you were in a much worse state than me. Even though you looked fine, I could see that you were starved and almost half dead. I flew into a rage and almost tried to kill him but was subdues easily. His men held me down and then he questioned me.Do you know what he said?"At this time both the brothers knew in their hearts what the kidnapper had asked..but only one was unaware of the answers.

Yoo Shiro took a deep breath and continued,"He asked me that if I was willing to abandon you,he would let me go..I..I remember flying into a rage and trying to break free Trying to attack him.But Yu Seok,I don't know if I really chose to abandon you..Because that was the last time we met and then when I woke up I was alone in the Yoo Manor. I went crazy for a while and blamed my self. But I want to assure you that if I had been in my right mind,I would never have chosen this life at the cost of yours!And I owe you an apology for this..It is also because of this guilt that I have been antagonistic towards Xie Eun. I have felt guilty that I did not love you enough and when I saw that you and Xie Eun had separate rooms,I felt that she too did not love you enough!It is also why I was so prejudiced against her. I wanted you to have everything you missed out on. But last night, I saw the love and devotion she held towards you and realized that I was wrong about her. She loves you as much as you love her. And it is why I also apologized to her. Also I want you to know that from this moment onwards I will not come in your way.I hope you will be able to forgive me for my past mistakes and the ones that I have committed against your wife. I understand that a simple apology cannot suffice for my transgressions but I am willing to work hard to gain your forgiveness. May be then we can be brothers in the true sense of the word again.instead of just being each other's look alike. I know that you want to look for the people who were involved in last night's incidence and the reason why I am confessing this today is also related..Lady Lu? She is said to be our savior. But I have a hazy memory that is somehow pointing to the fact that this woman is still somehow connected with her brother. Because if she had betrayed him, then it would not have been so easy for her to maintain such a high profile. Even if that man forgave her transgression, he would not have let her flourish.But if she is still in contact with the underworld, why did she approach us to handle Xie Eun? All these answers are somehow connected.Can you please let me investigate this to show my sincerety?"
