Yoo Shiro stared at his phone in dismay. He just couldn't believe the problem he had invited. At this crucial time, he did not want to involve Nora Xu but she was continuously pestering him. Finally, he sighed, and messaged, "Let's have dinner together, little girl. And then we can talk comfortable. Though he messaged her, promising to talk, he called the hotel and especially booked out all the private rooms, so that none would be available when they went to talk. Sighing, he rubbed his hand over his face and hanged into casual wear.

A little while later, his car pulled into the restaurant and he got off casually. However he had not expected that the moment, he would walk to the door of the restaurant, a little hurricane would run to him and jump into his arms. Catching the girl, he laughed and hugged her, before spinning her in a circle. He forgot his trepidation as he hugged his childhood friend and the sister of his heart. But, before he could even put her down, his eyes met a set of wide eyes and he felt his heart thunder. The girl who had been staring at him quickly averted her eyes as if she was a stranger but his own heart felt uncomfortable. He did not understand why but he wanted to run to her and explain his relationship. But his pride then roared up, the woman had lied t him and even attacked him and made a fool of him. And then she decided to ignore him. They had both been at fault.

But the indifference on her face stopped him cold. Just then, Nora Xu laughed and pecked him on the cheek, "Put me down you oaf!"

Seeing her smiling face, he kept aside his discomfort and smiled at her and brought Nora inside. She was disappointed that they would not get a private room, but she put it aside. She could catch up with Brother Shiro and get more information about her love rival in the process.

Soon, the two people were caught up in catching up but unnoticed by Nora, Yoo Shiro was distracted throughout. He kept glancing at the girl who was sitting quietly at the table, as if waiting for someone. Good, served her right for making him wait every time they had a date. He looked at her professional attire and wondered if she was here for another blind date or for business purposes. Soon, his question was answered when a man in a smart business suit walked in and was guided to her table. He tried to observe her reactions but she continued to sit there staring quietly at the approaching man. But then something happened that , made his blood boil. The man actually leaned down and kissed her on the cheek as a greeting. He wanted to strangle the man. And she did not even object.

Nora Xu finally noticed his distraction and clicked her fingers to call for his attention. She was about to turn back and follow his gaze when he smiled at her and said," Nora, right now my brother and sister in law are on their honeymoon." Just then the waiter arrived with their food and the two people stopped talking. Lowering his voice, he continued, resolutely ignoring the couple and said," Nora, I am sorry. It is all my fault that I informed you before I found everything. I am sorry for giving you false hope. I want to request you that do not contact my brother. Even if you had been engaged as kids, he is now already a married man and he seems to love my sister in law very much. I know you have missed him for so long but please Nora. I am really sorry."

Nora Xu looked at the person in front of her and gave him an understanding file and said, "Brother Shiro! I am just happy that he had returned. Yes, I am disappointed that he is taken but I am not so unrealistic that I would not understand the difference between the puppy love and real love that I had for him. I only want to see him and have a friendship with him just like the two of us. Is that too much to ask?" Her voice trailed off towards the end, her lips trembled and the words shivered. Her expression was clearly telling him that she was trying to be brave and he should not force her.

Yoo Shiro retreated immediately and changed the topic, talking about other things casually. However his eyes kept straying to the couple who also seemed to be enjoying a peaceful meal. Finally, the two sets of people at the different tables had finished their meals and started to walk out. At the gate Nora turned to hug him, making Yoo Shiro promise that he would arrange a meeting soon. And since the man was distracted, he failed to notice the calculating gaze in her eyes as she sat in her car and waved a good bye to him.

Once the car had driven off,he slowly walked to a darker corner and leaned against the pillar. His eyes observing the people coming and going.

Wen Shan was in a mess. She had reluctantly come to meet this man today with the clear intention of telling him to stop harassing her. She did not know why this person had crawled out of the woods after being away for so many years! He should have stayed in whichever hole he had escaped to after he shattered her heart so ruthlessly. And then to add more vinegar to her already sour mood, she had glimpsed another jerk the moment she sat down. This man was a player alright. The way he was comfortable with the girl, it was clear that the two shared a close relationship. And yet he had dared to date her. Even of it was all fake, he should have refrained from doing that with her. But soon, her attention was focused on the man that had arrived and she put Yoo Shiro to the back of her mind. He had been repeatedly calling her and even dared to come to the office today! She was going to get rid of him tonight. Throughout the meal she tried to reason with Qian Yu, her one and only 'dear' ex, but the man was like a slippery eel, changing topics at the speed of lightening. She had been frustrated through out the dinner and already did not know how to refuse his invitation. She cursed herself for being such a pushover and as they walked to the door, Qian Yu once again apologized to her for the past and tried to get closer to her as he placed a hand on her waist. This time Wen Shan felt a revulsion so sharp that she almost threw up on the man. The way he had placed his hand on her made her feel creep out. Her mind flashed back to when Yoo Shiro had done something similar and she realized that even with that jerk ,she had not felt this level of disgust. She moved back or tried to but his hold on her tightened. At this time they had already stepped out of the restaurant doors.

When Yoo Shiro saw this scene he was inexplicably angry. Unable to think of a reason for such a n extreme reaction, he tried to console himself that it was because of that girl and decided to turn back. But at that moment, he noticed something from the corner of his eye that made his turn back sharply. She was uncomfortable with the intimacy and was trying to subtly remove herself from the man's grasp. And just as he would have walked forward, he saw her forcible push away the suited man and slap him hard on the face. Yoo Shiro even winced for the poor man but then was incredible happy. He had not been treated like this. She had thought out and executed a punishment for him while she had simply slapped the man. So she must care for him..

But before he could feel too happy, he noticed the man's reaction and immediately ran out his hiding place.

Qian Yu who had been suddenly slapped, felt the humiliation that this girl had meted out and decided to slap her back. But even before he could lift his hand, he was pushed back forcefully and a pair of dangerous eyes flashed at him and pushed Shan Shan behind him. Qian Yu scowled and though he was intimidated, he gritted out, "Look mister, this matter is between me and this woman! It had nothing to do with you so please do not poke your nose in other people's family matters!

Yoo Shiro sorted and went close to the face of the man and said quietly,"It is not other people's matters when you try to take advantage of my fiance.."
