Pretending that nothing out of the ordinary had happened, Xie Eun made her way back to the private room where the two men were waiting. With a smile she joined went back to her seat, enjoying a peaceful moment as the two men continued to chat. Soon after, she felt Sir Xiao's inquisitive gaze on her. Giving him an innocent glance, Xie Eun quietly ate her dessert.

A few minutes later, a crisp knock sounded on the door and one of Sir Xiao's guards walked in and before bending and whispering something in the old man's ears. His eyebrows raised, Sir Xiao threw another glance at Xie Eun before nodding to the guard. After which, he placed down the cutlery in his hands and excused himself," My grand daughter is feeling unwell. She had recently returned from overseas and is not used to the change in the seasons. I hope the two of you will excuse me. Our discussion, it seems was not to happen today."

Yu Seok and Xie Eun stood out of respect for the old man and watched him go. Once the door had closed behind him, Xie Eun sat back down and continued to eat peacefully.

Yu Seok sat close to her and smiled in amusement. After almost finishing the plate, Xie Eun looked up and her gaze narrowed as she saw his look. Raising her brows, she asked," What has you so amused that you are smiling to yourself?"

" You have me amused."

This caused Xie Eun to scowl as she poked him, asking, "What do you mean, I have you amused?"

Even as Xie Eun spoke, she pulled Yu Seok's dessert plate in front of her and continued to dig in absent mindedly. Shifting closer to his wife, Yu Seok whispered in her ear," I like you like this! When you show your sharp little kitty claws. It makes me want to capture you and make you surrender to me.."

Shocked, Xie Eun almost spit out the petit four in her mouth and looked at her husband with rounded eyes! Dam* it! She had assumed that she had succeeded in handling this without letting him know! Still she decided to be innocent and thus putting on her patently fake, shocked expression, she asked, "What are you even talking about? What claws? What surrender?"

Taking the dessert fork out of her hands, Yu Seok, placed a petit four in her mouth and said," Since when did I become ignorant that I would not know that my dear wife is in a whirl about something? Do you rally think that I am fool enough to believe your silly excuse to bring you along for the meeting? he had been uncomfortable with the girl ever since he had learned the fact that she was supposed to be his 'childhood' fiance and sweetheart. " And the fact that Nora Xu sought a meeting with you just before her chairwomanship was declared had been enough for him to have alarm bells ringing in his head. Anything that could be a danger to him and his wife's relationship needed to be taken out. Seeing her still shocked face, not stuffed with an unchewed petit four, Yu Seok shook his head and continued, "Heck, Nora is as subtle as a flying brick! It is not just me but most of her executives are aware of her intentions. Even her grandfather has an idea of Nora's plans and was hoping that we would teach her a lesson about losing while giving him face at the same time. I got him rid of the notion immediately! And it seems so did you.. So my darling wife, just what did you do to Nora Xu that she had to escape so soon?"

But by now, Xie Eun had come out of her shock and floated cunningly, "Of course I did nothing. What do you take me for?"

In the next moment, Xie Eun had been picked up from her chair and was placed in her husband's lap who placed a hand on her waist, keeping her in place, before remarking," I like you when you do these things, do you really believe that you can fool me? As the person who has been used by you, quite mercilessly, do you really think that you must lie to me.."

A thrill passed through Xie Eun at his dangerous tone and she mischievously continued to pretend innocence. "I have no idea what you are talking about. Who would dare to use you and that too without your knowledge? You are the mighty wolf and I am a mere sheep! There is no way I can be so daring.. You are surely teasing me.."

After making this claim, Xie Eun had a hard time keeping her lips straight to stop herself from breaking out into laughter and thus she tried to stuff her mouth with the last bit of the petit four but just as her lips closed over it, his lips fused with hers and his tongue entered her mouth forcefully exploring her mouth and robbing the petit four from her mouth.. Once the piece was gone, Yu Seok's hands entwined in her hair as he pulled them back so that her neck was exposed to him and his lips slowly landed on a small strawberry mark that was exposed on her neck," So, you forgot to cover this love bite with your make up this morning? And you accidentally turned on the video call last night? Or maybe not eating during the meeting so that I would be not be able to stop myself from feeding you? And when you were having trouble from keeping your hands to yourself during the lunch? All these must have been coincidences.. hmm? And naturally Nora Xu who was just fine before excusing herself, but suddenly got sick after you came back? They are all coincidences.. Correct?"

Xie Eun's eyes widened like saucers when she realized that he was aware of all her tricks.. She tried to look around, avoiding meeting his gaze as she bit her lips.. But Yu Seok did not let her..

Once again, in his dangerous voice, he brought his lips close to her ears and whispered," You are a she wolf in sheep's clothing.. you can fool the world but not me.." Just as Xie Eun was about to pout and complain, Yu Seok continued," But I like this you much better.. I like the sharp claws and the soft sheep skin.."

His hand which had been resting on her waist, slipped under her jacket, caressing the warm skin there and slowly rested on her stomach, " It makes me feel reassured that you will be able to protect our children well.. Sharpen your claws as much as you want, Eun-a, I like them as much as I like your sweetness..."

Xie Eun felt touched as and hugged her husband tightly. He was the only one who pampered her and accepted her no questions asked. With all her silliness and quirkiness. Leaning and burying her nose into his neck, she placed a small kiss on his sexy Adam's apple and let herself feel well loved.

Wolf smiled at his wife who was a volcano one minute and a soothing stream the other and let her cuddle into him. He had no worries that they would be interrupted because he had already instructed the staff to remain inconspicuous while they were here. But he could not have expected another sort of an interruption in their time.

A few minutes later, in an unexpected mood swing, the girl in his arms changed from a sweet cuddly one to ferocious who glared at him and complained, "I am hungry! And it is all because of you! You thief! You stole my petit four! How could you do this to your pregnant wife.."

She then looked down at her still barely there stomach and continued, "Little bean! Do you see this! Your father does not love me anymore! He even stole our dessert!"

Rolling his eyes at his wife who was now resorting to passive aggressive ways to ask for food, Yu Seok pressed a button on the side and ordered all the desserts in the restaurant to be brought in. She could have as many desserts as she wished, lest he be blamed for depriving her of that. His wife could hold a grudge! He was well aware of that...But he had his own ways of getting revenge..

And thus when the desserts were brought in, Xie Eun who tried to escape to her own chair was forced to sit in her husband's lap and blush continuously... She pouted at Yu Seok in a silent complain, but he simply grinned and picking up the little dessert, placed it near his wife's lips. Since she seemed to have enjoyed that little bit of exhibitionism, he was going to let her have it.. Xie Eun soon forgot to pout as she was fed with delicious dessert by her husband who had switched to feeding her with his mouth after that first bite!
